Bill was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process, giving suggestions and insight based on what we were looking for. We needed a custom size entry door and he ordered exactly what we needed. He kept in communication and completed the work in a timely manner. It looks great and is quality work. I purchased a ceiling fan from Lowes and paid Lowes $113 extra for installation. I was told I would hear from the installer within 2 days. After a week I started calling (twice to store manager and twice to corporate with no help at all). Finally, I told them I would find my owner installer and got a refund. I found Bill on Angies list and sent him a message at 8 pm on Wednesday. Early the next morning Bill called me back and by 3 pm the same day he had my fan installed. He did a great, professional job and I will certainly use Bill again for any work I need done around the house.

Work was performed efficiently. Bill cleaned up each work area perfectly. His plastering was so good you cannot see where ceilings were repaired (including one textured ceiling). Price was reasonable.

All went well. We are pleased & would recommend BR Handyman to our Family & Friends.

I left a message to request a call to schedule some gutter cleaning. He did not call back for a week, saying that he had been on vacation - fair enough. We scheduled an appointment for the next week. An hour after he was supposed to arrive, he called to say he was at the doctor's office with strep throat - okay, that happens. The next week I left two messages trying to reschedule. It has been a week and a half without a reply. Thus, I have spent 3+ weeks trying to schedule a simple gutter cleaning. I will not try to use him again.

I called Bill Friday morning and he returned my call later that day. Since he was about to go on vacation, he offered to come by the following Saturday morning rather than have me wait a week. He arrived not long after the agreed upon time Saturday and quickly sized up the situation. I was quoted an hour's labor, the trip fee and a box of screws. Due to some minor complications the work took somewhat longer than estimated but I was still billed only for the quoted 1 hour . Before leaving Bill offered some tips on adjusting the tension arms on door should I later decide that it was closing too quickly, although we were in general agreement that a strong close that would more likely cause the door to latch was probably the prudent course! I was overall delighted with the work being performed so quickly and effectively and would not hesitate to hire Bill again for any future project.

Came out to give estimate for the job but did not return my phone calls afterwards.

Bill was very professional and great to work with. The work he completed was done at a fair price. I cringe whenever I have to hire someone, but Bill was easy to deal with and enjoyable to work with. I highly recommend Bill and I would like to hire him again to do some additional projects.

My brother show him the pull down attic steps. The left side the bracket was push out and was interfering with the ability to pull the steps down. After a valuating the problem he went to work. I tried to get repair them myself but could never quite figured out how to repair the spring and the bracket. But with in a hour and 25 minutes he had it all fixed and at a nominal fee. I expected to pay a lot more to have it repair. I even thought he would have to put in a whole new set of stairs. Now they work better than they have in a long time. I am very grateful for what he did.

The work performed was done very well. I would have hired him again to do more if I could get a response. I originally called for an estimate and the appt was forgotten, but when I called to see if he was still coming, he apologized and made a point to come out ASAP even thought it was late. No problem, it happens. He was able to estimate one job, but since it was late he said he'd estimate the 2nd one (on the roof) when he came out to fix job #1 (soffit). The job was performed on the date expected and again, the work was impeccable. He left the scrap wood in a trash bag by the curb. I had left the check for the agreed on amount and a note about estimating the 2nd job that we ran out of time for. I was not left an estimate and I've called a few times to followup with no call back over the last week and a half. So, good marks for the work - not so good for communication. I'll have to move on and use someone else.

i couldn't be more pleased. when i first called, the water in my house was off.... i thought i could do this myself, and was mistaken. turns out that what needed to be done was above my skill set and tool inventory! Bill came over almost immediately, fully understanding that being without water is kind of a desperate situation. he was able to fix the situation quickly, professionally and at a great price. before he left, i had him give an estimate on future work.... will definitely call him again.

When I talked to Bill I had asked him if he could stop over to look at the job we needed done. We weren't' sure if the arm of the attic ladder could be repaired or if the whole ladder system needed replaced. He came out that very evening and instead of just looking at the job he fixed it immediately. We would without hesitation use Bill again for anything we needed done! I highly recommend Bill.

My sliding glass patio door was getting hard to open & close, so I looked on YouTube & it looked like an easy enough fix. Well, let's just say that YouTube made it look a lot easier than it was. My husband & I got the door about 1/2 way out, then couldn't get it either the rest of the way out, or back. Hence the call to Bill. He came out the same day, which was fantastic. With 3 dogs, needless to say we couldn't afford to have this door out of commission long. After removing the door, he found that one of the wheels was no longer turning. After a quick trip to Home Depot, we were back in business. The whole repair took about 1 hour. Two thumbs up! I'd give more thumbs up if I had them :-).

Bill responded right away. He told me he had a cancellation and he'd be down in 20 minutes. As it turned out, did just need tightened. Being that fix took under 5 minutes, there were 2 additional plumbing fixes I needed (as I was repairing my bathroom)..so I asked him if he'd be interested, he said "yes" and did two other repairs for me. Bill was very professional and responsive. I asked him for his business card as I will be using him the next time I need a plumber.

Bill was pleasant, professional and great to work with. He did exactly what I asked for a fair price. He and his helper arrived right on time and go the job done exactly as he quoted it. He was courteous and respectful of my wife and kids schedule. I was impressed by his desire to leave the job site with me being 100% satisfied. He went above and beyond to make sure every little detail was perfect. Highly recommended.

I was about to put my townhouse on the market and my realtors recommended putting on a fresh coat of paint on the walls along one of the stairways that's been pretty scratched up. I called B R Handyman on a Monday morning and he returned my call within a few hours. That same evening he came over to provide an estimate. He was pretty busy, but understanding the urgency of the situation, he scheduled the painting work on that very Saturday. He did an excellent job and I highly recommend his service!

On both occasions, Bill responded quickly to my inquiries via Angie's List. On the first job, he was very prompt and professionally completed the work at a very fair price. On the latest occasion, I needed to find a drywall finisher on short notice to complete a rehab. Bill again responded promptly and although his schedule was heavy at the time, he was able to complete the work in timely fashion when time freed up on his other work. He did a very outstanding job, again at a very fair price. I would definitely use him for other jobs that may arise and highly recommend him.
