NATIVE DESIGNS

After having a poor experience with our first attempt at vendor bids, we were referred to Tom and Native Designs by a family friend. Tom was immediately responsive, came out to our house and spent more time listening to our ideas, making suggestions and walking around / visualizing the yard than any other potential vendor. That level of communication carried forward to a number of subsequent emails where he asked for our opinion on various plant/tree types, landscape rock options and deck possibilities. Tom had an obviously extensive knowledge of various local flora options, as well as clear preferences on what would work (and not work) around our pool. The quoted bid wasn't the low bid, but was in line with the others - and you get what you pay for in this case, so it was fine. While we did choose to go with another vendor, all of the bids were very close and competitive, and I wouldn't hesitate to go to Tom again for future opportunities.
