Description of Work: We contacted Tom Adams via Angies List to replace what we thought were leaking windows. They came on a Sunday afternoon to measure for the upstairs windows. While measuring, Rich noticed the ceiling was damp. Because of this, he felt we didn't need windows to stop the leak. He recommended that we get our roof patched & gutters cleaned. I feel that they are an honest company. They could have sold us windows & we would still have the leak. We will call them when we decide to replace the windows. Meanwhile, we are working on the gutters ourselves. If it still leaks, we will get the roof patched.

Description of Work: We called for an estimate and the gentlemen arrived and was kind of annoyed that I wasn't at home, my husband was there though and went through the entire presentation. The windows were of good quality according to my husband. But the rep did not give us an on the spot estimate or price. (We had received a quote from another company and they provided an on the spot price) The representative called a few days later to say he wanted to talk to me, not my "boyfriend" so I was pretty much done with him and the company.

Yes, we had a scheduled appointment with the member, in regards to replace her windows. My salesperson arrived on time, on the correct date. Much to his surprise, she was not there. My salesperson educated the boyfriend that was there on the types of windows that we sell (we represent 5 different manufacturers of windows). We asked if he was the homeowner, which he replied "NO" that the member was. So he took measurements and said that he would call her back with pricing. My salesperson called appprox. 4 times the next week and never recieved a call back. Obviously, there is a miscommunication. We sometimes qoute in the home and sometimes have to call back based on time allowed in the home or difficulty of job conditions to ensure correctness of quote. Are job is to sell quality work, why would we not want to have the opportunity to sell the member. We have taken the time to come to her home, as well as measured her home for replacement of quality windows. We have invested time in her job, without the opportunity to quote a price. As of this date, she still does not have a price from us, she still has not returned a call from us. We are as upset over this situation, as she is, hopefully she understands that we would love to do business, with her.
