It went perfect

First we had Steve Kretizing of Rovegno's of Carlisle conduct a PPL Energy Audit of our home in February 2011. Then based upon the energy audit (42 page report with colored pictures of energy faults and good energy areas) and discussions with Steve, we asked Rovegno's for an estimate to correct the energy faults. Mr. Kretizing provided the estimate and we scheduled a date and time. Mr. Kretizing and Rovegno's crew showed up on time and completed the work as scheduled. What a difference in our electric bill this summer but most importantly, our home felt cooler and more comfortable inside. Thanks Rovegno's!

I got what I paid for.

They did clean, efficient work, and were friendly and professional.

The employees arrived on time and worked until the job was complete (4 hours). They worked quickly but thoroughly. They were careful in accessing the attic through a bedroom window and closet and they cleaned up when they were finished. Rovegno's also provided a completed PPL rebate form for me to sign and send in.

Steve did an excellent job. I investigated what was involved in doing an energy audit and Steve did everything that was supposed to be done. The audit took about 4 hours. The work involved checking my home's insulation, checking for air leaks around all entrances to the house (windows, doors, roof vents, etc.), checking my gas appliances to see that they were drafting properly, and checking my HVAC system for leaks in the ductwork. Steve did the blower door test and used an infrared sensor to detect heat entering the house around windows and from the attic. As part of the audit Steve installed low flow faucet aerators, insulation around my hot water pipes, and he left me with several compact flourescent light bulbs. I got a complete report within days of the inspection with recommendations on what I could do to improve the efficiency and comfort of my home. I got an estimate that included the recommended work (adding insulation and sealing leaks in ductwork and attic). A second proposal was included that I could use to get an estimate from another company. Steve answered all my questions and even submitted the paperwork for me to get a $150 rebate from PPL. I had the weatherization work done and Steve came back after to do another blower door test to confirm my house wasn't too tight. I was completely satisfied with the audit and I recommend Rovegno's to everyone.

The crew was professional, worked quickly, and cleaned up completely when the work was finished.

They showed up when they said they would and the price was favorable. He didn't just look at the windows, he wanted to check my insulation and check this and check that. He was complimentary of what I'd already done and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I am waiting to hear from another company for a quote. I used them 15 years ago and that's why I called them again.
