Freindly service at a great price. I was surprised at how thorough his overall inspection of the entire AC unit ( inside and outsie) was. Fred exceeded my expectations especially at the Big deal price of $59.

called ahead to let me know he could come earlier if it was convenient. It was. He was punctual and courteous as always. He went over the thermostat, the inside unit and the outside unit. Checked current draw as well as system pressure. Everything was ok. Fred is my go to guy from here on out.

Fred cleaned and tested my air conditioner. I told Fred that I just had the unit repaired, so he checked to see if the repair company recharged it. He also found a family of six mice that died in the exchanger. Fred cleaned the exchanger and system itself. The system is now working better.

Best thing about using Fred was saving $180 by using a deal on Angie's List. He works by himself which made it hard to reach him to make an appointment, and he forgot to return my call the first time I left a message. On the day of service he called ahead to let me know he was running about 30 minutes behind, which is totally understandable in that business, and I appreciated the call ahead. However, when he arrived he realized he left some equipment back at his last worksite (an hour away). So I had to wait for him to come back. He was very apologetic. Bottom line... he did a good job on the AC tune-up and explained to me what he was doing.

The service I got from Fred Cramer was okay. He was polite and professional with what he did. He's fine.

Fred was on time with his appointment, did a nice job, cleaned up and everything went quickly and seamlessly. Our home was very comfortable the rest of the winter.

For every aspect except the delay in getting the service, the work done was well worth the cost. I ordered the service on May 10 but the job wasn't done until July 10 - Partly because the vendor misplaced my phone number and partly because my residence is about 40 miles from the business. Mr. Kramer, the owner of the business was appropriately apologetic and professional and thorough once he was actually on the job.

I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service. He came out the same day I purchased the Big Deal and I thought he was fine. I had not had the air conditioner serviced for a few years and I had no problems.

The discharge plastic pipe kinked the night of the installation. This resulted in an overflow with water discharging on the floor. It set-off the water alarm in our ADT system. The cause was the discharge pipe having too tight of a bend. The plastic discharge pipe eventually kinked and restricted the flow of the discharge. Fred came out the next day to fix the problem.

After buying the Deal I received an email and phone call several days later to set the appt. A day was set and he arrived on time and went to work. Good Job.

Great. He was on time. He called to let us know we needed coolant and asked if we wanted him to add it. He also let us know the approximate cost.

I purchased Big Deal inspection and then contacted Fred to schedule appointment. We agreed on date and time and he showed up as scheduled. Performed inspection and cleaned all areas that needed it. Found the coolant was low and provided extra as needed. We have a 2nd system and he said he would perform inspection on it for same price - but I declined as were not using it at the time. Fred was nice to talk to and kept me up to date on each step as he progressed. Found out that he also does heating systems and boilers and will most likely call him back this fall for that.

The service was performed on a 15 year old air conditioner with the air handler in the attic. I had the AC installed and have had this service performed before. The difference was that the company that installed the AC serviced it several times and never went beyond the outside unit. This was a fair sized oil company but the service was less than stellar. I did not know that because I never had central air before. The first time I had the oil company I have used since I have lived here do the service, it was a young guy who said he needed in my attic. I said nobody had ever been in the attic but he insisted and told me at the time that the upstairs unit was really dirty. At that time the unit was probably 6-7 years old. I continued to have them do the service and I now have an access panel which is right next to the air handler. The service people who came out only check the temperature at the air handler and at the vent. No access panels were taken off the air handler. Earlier this year I called our oil company to ask if they clean the ducts. They said their unit was broken and they were too busy to have it fixed so I was referred to another company. That company came out and said I had a lot of mold and gave me a price over $2,000 to have the ducts cleaned. They also tried to get me to buy a service policy as well as upgrades to the system (infra-red lights, High efficiency filters, etc). It was nice of them to try to take business after I was referred to them. Cut to Fred working on the unit. The first thing he did was go to the attic, took access panels off and used over a bottle of cleaner cleaning the attic unit. He mentioned no mold and said we don't get a lot of dust but we do get some condensation. I asked about filters and he said if we use a less dense filter, the AC will be more efficient and since the air intake is in the ceiling we don't get a lot of dust so we don't need a fantastic filter. This is directly opposite the company who was trying to sell me a better filtration system. Fred did not try to push additional services or items. The one thing I needed was freon. This is the second or third time I have needed freon in 15 years. This was an extra fee but again Fred offered it but did not try to push it. I want the unit to be as efficient as possible which is why I have had this service done now and in the past. This was the most thorough job I have ever had and I appreciated his honesty. After he was done I asked how the unit is and he told me it is in good shape. The other company had talked about a new unit without even really looking at it. I am very satisfied with the service.

UPDATE 7/16/13: Fred has contacted us and spent a good deal of time troubleshooting our issue. He provided valuable recommendations which will help us resolve our issue. Original 4/2013: Fred identified a leak in our system and recharged the unit with freon for which there was a charge of $75. We contacted Fred and left him two voice mails the end of May during hot weather when our air conditioner unit was not providing adequate heat removal. He did not return either call. Today (July 7th) my house is 79 degrees with the A/C running fully. I've even installed a large window unit to assist. Air coming out of our ducts is cool but not as cold as in past years. I would not use this service again. I can understand maybe there is still an additional leak that went undetected but the failure to follow up or call us back is unacceptable. I typically use a local provider but took advantage of this 'cheaper' service for my Spring service. Now I'm forced to call the local provider and pay twice.

Mr.Cramer arrived exactly on time and worked smoothly and efficiently. I followed Fred around asking many questions about the units, necessary maintenance, etc. He answered all my questions fully and courteously and pointed out areas of concern. He added a pound of refrigerant. He was very professional throughout and advised me that I could probably skip a check-up next year. I found him to be very competent, honest, and reliable, and wouldn't hesitate recommending him to others.

Couldn't have been better! Showed up on schedule and performed the needed work. Fred is very professional and is a dog person to boot (we have 4 dogs in the house). Everything was in tip top shape after his visit.

Fred was very thorough and went over the entire system, explaining everything as he inspected the system. We are very happy with him and would use him again.

Was very pleased with experience. He arrived EARLY, and for a service call I find that unique. We exchanged greatings, and than he went right to work. He checked the air handler and the compressor. Took 30-45 minutes. I used his Angie's list coupon and save a significant sum of money compared to what some of my neighbors have paid for the same service. Being "new" in town, service companies are hard to find, but thanks to Angie's list I found by ac-heating company
