Description of Work: John was terrific! I explained to him that I needed to replace by bathroom ceiling (old house, no venting and mold in the ceiling). He did all the necessary things, demolition, installation of a vent (including putting it through the roof), putting up a new ceiling, doing grout and caulking and painting my walls and ceiling. the workers were polite, cleaned up after themselves and respectful of my schedule.

Description of Work: We discovered a leak coming from our master bathroom shower that was going two floors down to the basement. We called John and he came right out the next day. He helped us locate the problem, and he returned a few days later to do the work. He had to cut a hole in a wall to get to the pipe, he fixed it, and he re-drywalled the hole, and mudded it all the same day. He was fast, efficient, and reasonably priced. We will definitely use him for future jobs.

Description of Work: They did drywall on 2 external walls in garage as well as install pegboard and paint the garage. Several external light fixtures and electric outlets were replaced as well as all the hardwired smoke detectors. I am already planning on bringing John back to do additional work at my house. He is very professional and responsive to the customer's needs.

Description of Work: No work was done. Provider never responded to query. Cannot provide an overall less than C since I have no idea of the quality of work, but every other provider at least responded even if they could not take the job.

Description of Work: He is about 15 mins away and told my husband it would not be worth him coming to fix our shower handles, dishwasher and repair med cabinet. Jobs were to small.

Description of Work: I had a shower floor replaced, It went really well and the men worked really hard. They were all very professional and pleasant to deal with. The only reason I did not give them an A is because they did not match the new grout on the shower wall tiles they replaced with the current grout and I think it looks guady. I could not see the grout until it was completed because I just had surgery on my ankle and doing the stairs was very difficult for me. The price they charged was average.

Description of Work: John was AWESOME! The day I called him he returned my call within minutes. My toilet leaked into my kitchen ruining my kitchen ceiling and my bathroom tile. I needed the ceiling fixed and painted and the tile redone. Within days he started the project. He came when I was at work; I trusted him to be in my house without me being there. He finished the job promptly. He did a great job!! Would highly recommend him!!

Description of Work: Used coupon value plus extra to have deck footings and supports installed for self constructed deck. Work was excellent! Issues were responsiveness and punctuality, they were only acceptable at best. But the work performed was excellent and that's what is required.

Description of Work: Ihad to call John twice to make arrangements. The caulking was not continuous around the bathroom floor and was not very smooth. The cost was supposed to be $99, but he asked for more as the work took more time. I asked him to add $ to replace faucet on the sink in the bathroom which he did, but did not want to install the plug fixture. I agreed without having seen the caulk and tile work as I was at work when John called to let me know it took them longer than expected. When I came home, I was not pleased with either tile cleaning, caulking or installation of faucet.

Description of Work: I had some small jobs like fixing a blind that was loose on one side, fixing loose door knobs, and installing a towel holder. All the projects were done well in a timely manner. These were all just small jobs for a contractor who was capable of doing much bigger jobs.

Description of Work: Father and son tea, scraped ceilings in two rooms, them primed and applied new skim coat. The next day they sanded then checked for any areas that needed more application, let that dry then sanded again, until my ceilings were perfectly flat. They did an excellent job.

Description of Work: Purchased 4 hour handyman service to install -1- ceiling fan; install a light on another ceiling fan; and place 4 eye hooks in my ceiling. Very difficult to communicate with or plan the service. Finally scheduled it and he completed the light and eye hooks in 3.5 hours (with 2 people). The ceiling repair around the fan that is not complete is shoddy at best and the bedroom was never cleaned (i have the pictures). Then had the nerve to tell me I owe him $150, asked for what he said "I brought my son with me". I asked when we discussed a second person or working past the pre-paid service and he said "it's in the fine print". Well then, why not bring your whole family and charge me! BEWARE!
