Scheduling was a breeze, David came on time and gave me a very reasonable price and all the information I needed to make an inform decision. Description of Work: I was doing some do-it-yourself work on my garage door, which consisted of cutting out some rotten wood and replacing it with new wood. The job seemed to grow by the hour and when I finally finished the work on replacing the wood, the garage door would not retract. I tried everything that I could think of. I eventually called 3 different garage door companies listed on Angie's list in Pittsburgh, PA. and David Giel called me back immediately from the road on his cell phone and said he could come over in a couple of hours; later that afternoon. He showed up on time as promised, saw the situation as it was, straightened out the twisting in the door alignment, reinforced some of my work with additional support, changed the garage door sensors position so that they were not so sensitive and was done in about 30-40 minutes. He definitely knew what he was doing and he got to working on it in a hurry. I was very pleased with the results, and relieved that my garage door was working again. Description of Work: Our garage door was sticking midway as it went up. It was very noisy as well. He replaced all of the springs and bearings and he applied a brace to a small crack in the door. He also provided a new garage door opener for the second garage door to replace a non-functioning one. He was quick and thorough, arriving promptly and having all tools and equipment available.

Description of Work: I had a garage door that was making a loud sound when going up or down. I figured something was wrong with the mechanism. I made the mistake of calling another provider that had a coupon. He wanted $2,000 to replace all of the mechanisms for both garage doors. I turned them away and called Dave. He came out quickly and repaired and oiled the mechanism and stated that it all looked good. Saved me thousands! The door works fine now. I will never call anyone else!
