Description of Work: Cleaned and painted deck

Description of Work: I had purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for fence repair (I have a fence that is leaning and I also wanted to get a gate put in on the side). Bob, the owner of the company came by my house in October 2012 to look at my fence and he told me that his expertise is with decks, not fences. He said he would have a friend look at the job and his friend could possibly do the repair. His friend came by on November 1, 2012 and gave me an estimate of $6000 to fix the leaning fence. I called Bob and told him that $6000 was too steep of a price and I asked Bob if he could install the gate on the side of my house. Bob said that he could, but that he was too busy with the holidays coming up and his Christmas tree business. He told me to call him at the beginning of the year and he would install the gate. I called him on January 5, 2013. He said that he remembered me and to call him when the weather improves. Now that the weather has started to improve (April), I have tried calling him and he has not returned my calls. Fortunately, Angie's List is giving me a refund on the Big Deal.

Description of Work: Phone contact was made in September, quickly followed by a professional estimate. There has been no follow-up or work since the estimate. My husband states that he is partially responsible for the lack of follow-up.

Description of Work: cleaned and stained/water sealed my backyard fence

Description of Work: He came one day to power wash the deck and then the next to stain it. It tried different combinations of the stain to get just the right look. It was a great finish.

Description of Work: We were given GOOD ESTIMATE IN A VERY HELPFUL MANNER. uNFORTUNATELY OUR PROJECT WAS TOO BIG FOR THIS PROVIDER BUT HE GUIDED US TO OTHER POSSIBIITES

Description of Work: Robert was a delight to work with. My old deck looks better than it has in years. He was professional, polite and congenial. I feel he did an excellent job with what he had to work with. He sanded, power washed, replaced some boards and did a nice cedar stain on the deck.

Description of Work: The price estimate from wood revivers was good and very practical. We decided to go with another contractor that had a better overall bid. However, we would certainly try out wood revivers in the future.

Description of Work: I am in the process of researching different companies to do routine preventive maintenance on my deck. My research is just preliminary (reviewing customer reports, researching company history, etc), one of the companies I researched is Wood Revivers. In review of the license status of the company, the license is listed as "suspended" with a note that "insurance is not on file." Consequently, I have removed this company from consideration and thought I would share my discovery with others.

Description of Work: This company stripped and re-stained my very large deck and also my privacy fence around my hot tub. Very professional, reasonable pricing and the owner was present every day of job.

Description of Work: All outdoor wood structures including stairs, porches and decks were cleaned and top surfaces were stained and treated.

Description of Work: WOOD-REVIVERS CLEANED AND RESTAINED A LARGE FRONT PORCH, INCLUDING ALL THE RAILINGS AROUND THE PORCH AND THE STAIRS LEADING UP TO THE PORCH. THEY ALSO CLEANED AND RESTAINED 3 SETS OF WOOD STEPS ON OTHER PARTS OF MY HOME. I HIRED THEM BECAUSE THEIR ESTIMATE WAS HALF THE COST OF ONE OF THEIR COMPETITORS. ADMITTEDLY, THIS MADE ME A LITTLE NERVOUS BUT, AFTER SEEING THEIR WORK, I WAS GLAD I WENT WITH THE LOW ESTIMATE.
