Description of Work: Terra-Sol provided a consultation and free bid for possible landscape construction projects. Dave demonstrated strong integrity but suggesting alternative services where he felt appropriate, and advised against one plan as having no enduring value. For the other projects, he was creative and prompt in his response and proposal. Dave's warm and professional style created a sense of collaboration and trust. I would definitely reach out to them in the future.

Description of Work: This was a disappointing experience, and I think the company had some legal complications in the background so I can only assume based on the other positive reports that this was why so much went awry in my case. First of all, I sent in the contract and it was lost, so I sent it in again. Then I kept getting put off for an entire month to do a job that I was told they could do w/in 2 weeks (bec. of travel this in effect bumped it 2 months off to a time when I really didn't need to deal with it). When the guys did come to do it, some of the plants weren't the ones we agreed on and the layer of bark chips put down around everything was pretty thin and we had to improvise a different arrangement based on the inadequacies of they brought. Then the billing was incorrect. That being said, all of the people I worked with were very pleasant, from the owner through the guys who came to do the planting. March 2012 Update: I just had other people yesterday come in a replace the half of the arbor vitae planted by Terra Sol in 2010. These arbor vitae had died and once they were removed from the ground it was apparent why--the Terra Sol landscapers hadn't removed the burlap or even the constricting ties around the burlap when they planted the tress. At this point I really can see no reason to utilize their services.

Description of Work: I hired them about three to four years ago to do some planting of shrubs in the front as well as to build some steps to go into a steep hillside to make access easier.

Description of Work: Basically the work consisted of taking out my old landscaping and replacing it with a new one. This included pulling out diseased trees, old bushes, ground cover, various other types of plants, designing a new landscape, leveling a slope, tilling, and amending the soil, building a wall and of course, planting about 14 bushes of various sorts, ornamental grasses, a tree, and applying bark dust. A very important part of the work also included finding plants that were not susceptible to the virus that my old plants had.

Description of Work: DAN PERFORMED THE SPECIAL WATER FEATURE THAT WE HAD REQUESTED, AND HE DID IT WITH SUCH PROFESSIONALISM AND ENTHUSIASM. WHAT A GREAT COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH! OUR WATER FEATURE WAS DONE JUST AS I HAD REQUESTED AND IN A TIMELY MANNER. BOTH MEN THAT I DEALT WITH AT TERRA-SOL LANDSCAPING (DAVE - THE OWNER, AND DAN - THE DESIGNER) WERE NICE PEOPLE TO WORK WITH. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
