Our heat pump failed. The company that I have been using for AC servicing was not able to repair my heat pump in a timely manor, claiming they were waiting for a part. After enduring several weeks of hot weather in desperation I called Oregon Heating and Air Conditioning. Their bid was much lower and the repair was completed just in time before several !00 degree days were approaching. I wish to thank Clint for doing an excellent job of answering my questions and Sergio most of all for braving the heat of the day and working very hard to get the heat pump going. My wife and I are 75 and enduring heat is not as easy as when we were younger. Both Clint and Sergio are heroes for bringing much needed comfort to me and my wire. Thank you so much.

He did a good job, the customer is worried about a heat wave and may have to have the guy come back out to put more in it.

They saved me on the day after Thanksgiving. We were down to 20 degrees and I had no heat in the house which was terrible. I would use them again.

Six years ago, a few days before Thanksgiving, my furnace died. Oregon Heating juggled existing appointments in order to find time to install a new one so I wouldn't have to be without heat during the cold winter days. They cleaned the house air ducts at the same time. All was done quickly, courteously, and professionally. I've continued to Oregon Heating for yearly furnace checkups, and their technician, Dave, is a delight: polite, personable, and patiently thorough in answering all my questions. I'm completely satisfied with this furnace. Thank you for your terrific product and staff!

They come once a year for the checkup on the furnace and air conditioning and make sure everything is set for Winter. I have had them every year for years. It has always been good! The air conditioner is still working and the furnace is still working, so I guess it is pretty good!

I have an annual service contract for my residence with Oregon Heating and always request that Chris be my technician. If I have to wait a little longer to get on his schedule, it's worth it! Chris is a true pro. He is extremely knowledgeable and always friendly, courteous and cares about the customer's needs. I also recently used Oregon Heating and Chris to service the system in my Mother's home. She passed away a few months ago and I am selling her house. I needed a detailed service for the potential buyer, so I asked for Chris. As always, he did a superior job for me and I am sure has satisfied the home's buyer. They were just extremely professional and very very good. I did have a problem during the year with an adjustment for summer and winter for upstairs. They came out and they had already put a bracket in to adjust for summer and winter that I didn't know about and didn't understand. They went beyond what they needed to do. They came out and showed me. It took 10 minutes and I was able to change my heating and air upstairs. I would recommend them to anybody.

It went VERY well. They were a few minutes late on the first day of the work but when the installer arrived, he worked steadily for 9 hours. He installed the new thermostat in the old location so I would have heat for the night (had been without it for 5 days) and came back the following day for relocation and final cleanup. The installer, Matt, was professional and very responsive to my needs and answered any question I had. The estimator, Craig Roggers, was also very professional and gave me several rebates that saved me over 700 dollars as well as advice as to acquire further rebates on my tax returns. He also explained the differences between the types of furnaces they deal in and answered all my questions as to maintenance, costs, warranties, etc. Although an unexpected and unwanted surprise of the furnace failing on New Year's Day, Oregon Heating made it less painful by their quick response in ordering and replacing the old with the new.

It went great. Installation required two days. The installers were professional and cleaned up well after themselves. The upstairs in our house has only one vent, which is insufficient to keep it cool in the summer. Oregon Heating and Air Conditioning (OHAC) suggested sealing that vent and installing a ductless unit, which would be capable of keeping the upstairs cool in the summer. The old primary unit needed to be replaced, and OHAC suggested a variable speed unit to replace the old fixed speed unit. Everything got installed on schedule and they cleaned up after themselves nicely. The new ductless unit required pipes & wires to run down the outside of the house, and they hid them with a cover which looked good. The new primary unit is much quieter than the old unit, and both new units are keeping the house cool in this hot weather. They should provide a 40% savings in electrical use as well. The only hiccup was the new thermostat. It behaved strangely, and rather than spend time diagnosing the problem OHAC sent a technician out to replace it right away. The new units are so efficient they qualify for tax credits and rebates. OHAC completed all the paperwork and registered them with the manufacturers, so all we had to do was file the papers. This reduced the overall cost of the new equipment, which was great. We've been using OHAC to maintain our old heat pump for many years and were always happy with their service and pricing. This experience was consistent with that history.

tThey completly remove the filter system and give it a completely cleaning. Then they do a whole system check to insure every component is functioning at top performance. This results in no break downs when you need it the most. They are also very prompt and even call when they are close to doing your maintainance.

Oregon Heating and Cooling is what I would expect from an Angie's List company: professional, competent, fair and above the standard. I appreciate their work.

Tom came very highly recommended from my friend as someone who is easy to work with, willing to listen and effectively working with the customer to find the best solution to my friend's re-ducting and new furnace install. So of course I called to get an estimate from him (along with several other companies--do your homework and research, it pays off!). When Tom came to my house for an estimate to replace my furnace, I had to work so he met with my father. My furnace is located in the attic of my converted garage and Tom said there was no way he could remove/replace my furnace without dismantling and remodeling the ceiling and closet the attic entrance was located in. He also said that the current setup would not pass the Oregon state inspection requirements. This was a huge cost that I had not planned on, so my father ended the estimate meeting to consult with me. I've since had my old furnace removed and replaced by another company that could manage the tight entrance with no remodeling done (although it took 4 guys to move the old and new one out of the attic). I've waited this long to write this review because I've just had my Oregon state inspection meeting and everything passed with no problems. I'm not sure if Oregon H&AC could not do the work without remodeling my family room, or if they were just saying that to get more work and raise the cost. Regardless, they were very pleasant and professional but the situation/cost did not work for me.

Oregon Heating contacts me for a date so they can do maintenance of my heating and whole house air conditioning.This is a twice a year service that I pre-pay in January. The person that does the work calls me with in 15 mins. of his arrival time to give me a heads up and they ALWAYS show up on time. These are also the people that installed the system and they are top notch . The best I have ever worked with

It was really a great experience from the very beginning. I found them online, on an advertisement on my phone. I clicked on the ad, which led me to their website. I filled out the contact form and within 2 hours someone called me to make an appt. They explained over the phone that it would be an "arrival window" of 3 hours, and I was expecting something like that. They called this morning to let me know they were on their way, which I thought was very nice. The technician, Dave, arrived at the very beginning of their "arrival window", which was also nice. The technician arrived in a nice, professionally lettered company van, which I appreciate. You'd be surprised how many companies DON'T do that. Dave was in a nice uniform, seemed clean-cut and pleasant. I showed the him around to where my furnace, thermostat and A/C unit were and left him to do his thing. All I had requested of them was a tune-up and just a once-over on both the furnace and the A/C unit. Just some preventative maintenance, so that we wouldn't have any problems [that could have been prevented] this winter with the furnace or next spring when we went to turn on the A/C unit. He did find some things that needed replaced and cleaned out with our A/C unit and said he was surprised to hear it was still working well. It would have probably failed next season if we hadn't have had him out to fix these problems. There wasn't much wrong with our furnace, but I was glad he checked it out. He replaced our screens in our furnace. That was cool that this was included as part of the service call. He also stayed and talked with me for 5-10 minutes about the age of my furnace, what to keep an eye out for, and how much longer I should expect it to last. That was very nice and I could tell he really knew his business well, which added to my confidence in this company. The service took about 90 minutes and I felt the price they charged was very fair. It was probably more than some companies charge, but I would rather have a really professional outfit for a little more money than save money and have a less professional company. So to me, the rate I paid was a good value. I was just impressed all the way around with this company and with Dave. I'd recommend this company to anyone looking for HVAC work. They are a professional outfit, all the way down the line.

I like that they're prompt in keeping their appointments. They give you a range of about three hours. They always call you about a half hour before they're going to get there, so you know they're on their way. I like that they have kept our elderly heat pump going for several years by servicing it and giving us pointers on using the thermostat, etc. I also just find their agents courteous and helpful. I think they do good work.

The installers showed up on time. They were very courteous and friendly. The did a very professional job. Everything was done in one day. They also cleaned up after the job was done. Also explained how the new thermostat worked. The final cost was in line with the estimate. The Trane furnace and air conditioner work great.

The experience from begining to end was outstanding. The estimate was very competitive and they finished withing budget. They went well above and beyond just installing the system and made sure my every need was met. The work was done a year ago and there have been Zero issues since the install. I couldn't be happier.
