Description of Work: Scott, the salesman, came to our home at the appointed time, for an estimate on a new garage door. After examining the existing door, he came to the conclusion that despite it's age, the door had been well maintained and did not need to be replaced at this time. He gave us an idea of what it would cost to replace it if and when we feel the need and informed us of their other services available, (Service and maintenance). We had been wondering if we weren't looking to replace something that had not yet out lived it's service, and Scott helped us. We really appreciate the man's honesty and integrity.

Description of Work: For $99, the guy installed a keypad and lubricated the garage door tracks. I was hoping that he would also help adjusting the forces for opening and closing and adjusting the limits, which I assumed to be part of the "safety inspection" deal but he didn't do anything in that part. He came earlier than scheduled time and finished the job he did very quickly and pretty well. It was disappointing because he didn't do much about safety which was expected.

There had been a mix-up about the location where the service was to be performed, but the installer didn't let that deter him and drove all the way across town to get to the service address. He was great!

Description of Work: Did a garage door tune up using a groupon. great service, was able to strengthen door and framework for another 20 years with just anew rollers etc. 69.00 for basic tune up then 130.00 for new rollers,seal, and some strengthening to framework.

Description of Work: Tune-up and repair of an older overhead garage door, plus an evaluation of what will be needed in the future due to decay on the lower edge of the door. I was pleased to be told that the problems I'd been having with the door hanging up when opening and closing were easily remedied that day, for just a little more money than the tune-up fee.

Description of Work: I signed up for an Angie's coupon special for a garage door tuneup. I also needed a new astragal (bottom seal) and the photoeyes were not working. My door is a large, shop door about 15 tears old. I live more than an hour away, so my service was arranged for when they had other business nearby. Unfortunately, the first service man did not read the work order correctly and did not bring ,a new astragal. So basically, nothing was done at that time. We finally rescheduled at a mutually convenient time. The second service man, Dave, was prompt, phoned ahead, brought everything needed, and performed the work well and efficiently. Everything now works very well and lizards and other critters can no longer get in under the door. Dave was friendly and professional. Considering that two new parts (photoeye and astrgal) were needed and some rewiring was necessary, I consider the price to be very reasonable. Note that the $95 cost was in addition to the coupon species, and is still very reasonable.

Description of Work: We bought an Angie's List coupon for a garage door tune up. Best Overhead door responded immediately to our call and came out to service our garage door the next day. We were very happy with the work. Then as luck would have it, the main spring broke a week later on a Sunday, trapping our cars inside. I called to leave a message so that the repairman would get it first things Monday morning. Apparently, they monitor their weekend messages, because the service man (I think his name was Bruce) called me right back and told me he would be out first thing on Monday morning. He was! Fixed the door, freed the cars and I was on time to work. I will continue to do business with this fine company.
