Perry did a great job. On time very organized and tidy. My fireplace is working beautifully and looks perfect. Highly recommended.

We recently purchased a home originally built with a see-through wood fireplace. Previous owners had plugged the flue and installed a pellet stove on one side...nothing on the other (go figure). We had All Fuel come by to make some suggestions and provide an estimate. The person who came out to look at the job was professional, knowledgeable, and listened to our concerns. In the end we decided to have the pellet stove removed, a combo chimney cap/top damper installed, sweep, and installation of new fireplace doors. The first crew came by and removed the pellet stove, plug, measured for the top damper/cap, cleaned up. In and out quickly with no complaints at all. The crew patiently answered my questions as they worked. We were unable to be available when the top damper came in (they're made for each chimney) and we had to wait another couple weeks for a time when we could be home when a crew was available. That's okay. No deduction for playing dueling calendars. Another crew came in to install the damper and doors. They did this quickly. But they were suddenly gone and I realized that they hadn't instructed us on how to get a fire going without smoking up the house. That was actually written into the quote. And later, on inspection, we found that the bottom clamps for the doors had not been installed. We had been told that the material they used to attach the cap required 24 hours to dry before starting a fire. So we waited and then put a fire together. We didn't have much problem...good draft. The top damper seemed to work fine. The doors appeared to be solid enough without the bottom clamps, too. So we didn't call to ask for those things. But we feel that we shouldn't have to call on things like that. One was in the quote (the contract), and the other should have either been explained before they left or the clamps installed on the doors. So: the B. We would use this company again without hesitation, but we'd make sure everything was according to the quote before letting them go.

All Fuel was quick to schedule an appointment, arrived on time and took care of the business promptly and efficiently. I took care of all the arrangements over the phone, which was was super helpful to me since this was for a rental home. The tenant was very pleased with the cleanliness of the job, the results of the job, and the demeanor/behavior of the technician. Very pleased.

All Fuel Installations are very good. I will continue to use them in the future. The quality of work was very good. I would give them As across the board.

They were excellent. They diagonosed a disconnected wire. They were very prompt. I believe his name was Scott, he was great.

We were able to schedule the installation mid-week right after the fireplace arrived at All Fuel. There was less than two weeks between getting the estimate and completing the installation. My husband was home for the installation. It was amazingly fast and it reinforced how happy he was to not install the 2 story chimney liner without some prior technique. We used a 10% Angie's List coupon to get $50 off $500 in labor. The inspector came out just a couple days later and we sailed through approval. After a short burn-in period we can really crank up the heat with this wood stove! It blasts out heat! We built a wood mantel around the existing 1980's marble thing going on. We just need to finish up the trim now that the room is painted! (This pic was taken before paint and other finishing touches were in place)

I received 3 bids for this job. I chose All Fuel because Eric pointed out an extra finish detail that the others didn't and they offered a cash discount for, yes, "green backs". All 3 bids were very close in original estimated cost, were all positive with Angie's list and had worked with the NW Natural Store and the Energy Trust of Oregon. I had the day off so my schedule was open. The workers were scheduled for about 3:00 PM and, after a call from All Fuel, were rescheduled for 3:30 because of an earlier job taking a little longer than expected. No problem for me. The installers called me once they had picked up the insert that I had purchased and gave me an ETA. They arrived, introduced themselves, laid down drop cloths and went to work. 30 minutes into the project the electrician from West Side Electric (who they work with) showed up, introduced himself, did his part of the job, told me they would send their bill (which was less than initially quoted) and left. I wrote a separate review for West Side Electric. They finished the rough installation before 5:00 and left it ready for inspection on Monday. I had been informed of all the steps before the job started so there were no surprises. There was a small leak so it didn't pass on Monday and I called to let them know. They were out on Tuesday, fixed the problem and had it reinspected. Upon pasing the finishing parts were installed and we now have a completed project. Nothing for me to do except use the remote to turn on the fireplace insert and enjoy the warmth.

I appreciate the company's willingness to get us an appointment during such a busy time. Perry was very professional and patient even as my four year old son kept asking him questions while he worked on our fireplace. Excellent work.

Eric and his team were excellent. Starting from the first call to the final installation, everyone encountered was professional, friendly, and exceptionally competent. Eric took time on a Saturday to come by and quote the job, at which time he provided guidance on models and vendors. He picked up the unit from the store, arrived when promised and performed the work. Following inspection, which All Fuel coordinated, they came back for the final touches and provided a run-through of the features and function. We are completely satisfied with the services provided and the fees charged.

We have a 1996 gas fireplace controlled by a circuit board that was no longer working and no longer available from the manufacturer to buy. We had another company come out to tell us that we would have to replace the entire fireplace, costing approx. $3,000-$5,000. As a result, we went ahead and picked out a new fireplace unit and called All Fuel to come out for an installation bid. When I called, I requested a service technician and asked that they confirm that the existing unit was not repairable prior to working up an installation bid. Perry, with All Fuel, arrived just before the appointment time and within an hour was able to come up with a solution for us that only cost $415, including the service fee. Our existing unit is now working and is even wireless now thanks to Perry!

We purchased a gas fireplace insert for our family room in the lower level of the house. We obtained two bids and went with All Fuel primarily due to the pleasant manner in which they addressed our needs. It was necessary to run an additional gas line from the meter because the present line was too small to service the furnace, water heater and the insert. The additional gas line installation was done competently and was acknowledged by the inspecter as well. When all was in place, there was a one-day wait for the inspecter to arrive and then All Fuel returned the following day to hook to gas to the insert and fire it up. Instructions were given clearly and all questions answered to our satisfaction. We had overlooked a 10%-off coupon from Angie's List during the process even after we wrote the check for the installation. When All Fuel came to finish the job, I asked if it was too late to redeem the coupon. "No it's not". They honored it by sending a refund check in the mail promptly. Our satisfaction level is very high with All Fuel and we would definitely recommend them to others.

Amzaing service!! Very prompt response. Great price and service. Kenny and Scott did an excellent job, prompt on arrival and were done quickly. My house was cleaner when they left:) Would use their service again in the future and have already refered to a friend.

Excellent from start to finish

We shopped at NW Natural and asked to have an installer come out to look at our wood burning fireplace and determine what size insert we needed. Perry from All Fuel came out and we discovered we had very limited options...he explained all of them to us and even went into detail on what remote control might be best for us...he was fabulous! We called NW Natural, ordered the fireplace and All Fuel installed it the following week. Kenny and Scott came out and worked for hours getting all of the lines correct and the insert properly aligned. They were marvelous...hard working, very knowledgeable, friendly and professional.They also had an electrician come out to do the electrical hook up...Dave from West Side Electric Company was great too!The city inspector came out the next day, Wednesday and gave us a final approval. Our understanding was that Perry would come back on Thursday for the final parts of the install but when we called to confirm, Eric said that was not possible and wanted to put the final install off to the following week. We said we wanted it done this week and he agreed that Perry would come on Friday to do the final install. That went very smoothly and we have been enjoying our new fireplace ever since.

The experience was excellent, they came to my house and gave a bid on the spot that was spot on. I was referred to visiting NW Natural's Appliance Center in SE Portland to pick out a fireplace since I was unsure of where to go. I found one on clearance that was also in stock and the fireplace was installed in about four hours. I then had to wait for the city to come by the next day to inspect the work and sign off on the permit. All Fuel came back the following day and completed the installation, taught me how to use our fireplace and asked if I had any additional questions. Overall, it was a very positive experience and we are very happy with the improvement to our home.

Perry was prompt in returning phone calls and showed up when he said he would. I think to start that is a very good indication of professionalism. He was careful to be neat and clean up after his work and charged only what he said he would. I would definitely use him again with any fireplace or heat related problems.

We are very happy with our experience with All Fuel Installations. They were prompt to respond to inquiries about their services and worked with our schedule in setting up an appointment. Perry was our technician and he arrived early, was careful about keeping our house clean, serviced our pellet stove, and explained to us how to use it. He had a great demeanor and was very nice and patient as he answered all of our questions. We just purchased our home and had never used a pellet stove before. All Fuel's service was great in explaining how to use the stove - especially since ours is a very old, 1988 model. Perry was able to get it up and running but made a note that our burn pot was damaged. He said he would call the manufacturer to see what possibilities there might be for a replacement. The very next morning we got a call from All Fuel explaining our options for replacement. They've got great customer service, and I would not hesitate to call on them again.

I really love All Fuels- they are consistently friendly, polite, punctual and reliable. They bring a blanket to put down on the floor in front of the fireplace, a vacuum, all the tools, etc. They clean the fireplace beautifully, fix the issue at a fair price and then leave without any mess being left behind. We highly recommend them and will not use any other fireplace company to service our fireplace. They have earned our business fair and square. Thanks!
