Description of Work: I have used Homemasters in the past to clean my gutters and roof and have been satisfied. Based on that I hired them to replace my gutters and install micro mesh screen all around as I live in a wooded area and have frequent problems with downspouts plugging resulting in water running down my foundation. While it took longer than I anticipated to get the job scheduled it was completed in one day. Though they cleaned pup after themselves fairly well, the fascia, which is white, was/is filthy as a result of the work. However, my biggest complaint is they over promised the results. When discussing the gutter replacement and mesh screens, I specifically asked if the work would eliminate the constant dripping from the eaves that was also contributing to unnecessary water around the foundation. Don Bruton told me yes it would solve this issue and all I would need to do going forward was to have them come clean the roof twice a year. How wrong this was. Soon, dripping began again in two areas. I contacted Don who came by and looked at the roof. Yes, he found the problem--debris was getting hung up in the the "valleys" where the roof seams meet at these two locations. Solution? Additional work/expense to repair. Not the answer I was looking for and told him I was disappointed since he told me this problem would be resolved with the new gutters--and this promise was a huge factor in deciding to have the work done. Since I could not afford the additional work after spending so much already, his next solution was to have them come blow off my roof every couple of months for $150 a pop. Seriously? Obviously the solutions offered would result in more revenue for them when I was led to believe the initial work WAS the solution. I live alone and am afraid of heights so am unable to do the work myself. My eaves are now dripping in other locations. Needless to say, I am very disappointed and will be looking for another service provider.

Description of Work: Bought 2 roof cleaning services for $250 each, after confirming they could serve both my houses, one in Lincoln City and one in Portland Metro. Took WEEKS for them to schedule Portland, then they cancelled day of and came the next day (Nov 1.) STILL have not scheduled the Lincoln City house, over 2 months since I bought the thing. They answer calls promptly, attend to questions and all, but as far as actually doing the work paid for, they fall very short of expectations.

Description of Work: I bought four hours of handyman services for $99.00 from Angie's List. Everything went very smoothly. I received an email from THOM requesting me to set up a day for the visit. The afternoon before the appointment, the handyman called me to see what chores I had for him and if he needed to bring any supplies. He arrived exactly on time the next morning and worked efficiently, finishing up a few minutes after my four hours were up. I had him take care of a "honey-do" list that my honey never gets around to -- he replaced the weatherstripping on two exterior doors, hung a clock and a heavy piece of artwork, replaced the flushing mechanism of a toilet, mounted a Dust Buster on a wall,and climbed up a ladder he brought with him to replace the light bulbs in a ceiling fan 15 feet above the floor.

Description of Work: Two workers showed up and cleaned the roof and gutters and placed moss killer. Did exactly what they said they would and were relatively clean about it.

Description of Work: they came to clean and inspect my roof. I assume they did a good job. I I have never had this done before. I did have to call to see what all the black stuff was on part of the roof and was informed it was what color it turn with the chemical it applied. The also fixed a leak on the outside. The fix does not allow the water to leak where it was but has moved on to a didfferent place. NOt sure if this is companies fault or just my roof. They were responsive to questions quickly

Description of Work: He was finished in 30 mins. Instead of using a ladder he walked on my tile roof. I had to ask him if he had cleaned out the down spouts. And no, he had not. Since I don't have a ladder that will go up to my second storie I had no way of checking. But knowing that one gutter had not been cleaned out for years I know it was not cleaned out throughly.

Description of Work: Bought a $200.00 Angie's List certificate for gutter work,I wanted to get a section of my gutter above the front door reset to a different angle because the house had settled and water ran on the porch rather then into my downspout.I talked to the tech when he came out and decided to install a new section,downspout and clean out box.I was quoted $400.00 for the job,next day the guys came out and did the work. I held my praises until it rained,but for the 1st time in 2 years water was going where it was supposed to.

Description of Work: Roof-cleaning. The two service persons showed up exactly at the time that was agreed upon and performed a flawless job, provided advice for future maintenance of the roof. I was very satisfied with the work they did.

Description of Work: They met with my husband and I gave us a bid for the roof cleaning. The work was done one week later. Everything about the experience was great. An easy company to work with, answered all our questions and performed the job to our satisfaction. We would use this company again.
