Description of Work: This is the first time that I had a bad experience with a service provider that I found on Angie's List. Homemasters cleaned my home's gutters, placed a treatment on one gutter to plug up small holes, and replaced a down spout. After the service I called them 3 separate times in order for them to pick up their bucket and to clean the area. The picked up their bucket, but did not clean the area. I finally did it myself. I then called them a fourth time in order for them to pick up the down spout they replaced. When they initially completed the service, they gave me an evaluation of my roof. They said I needed to replace my roof even though my 30 year roof is about 7 years old. I cannot trust a company that is trying to sell me an expensive item, when it is not necessary.

Description of Work: They replaced the gutters. It was OK service. They did a fine job but it was an upsell. The finish work wasn’t fine. Also, one of the suggestions wasn’t appropriate for the neighborhood I live in.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from this company for $133 for gutter cleaning. That worked out well.

Description of Work: I purchased a $119 Big Deal for a Gutter Cleaning & Inspection Service. They were good. They sent two individuals for the job who spent the afternoon at my home. There were no additional fees associated with the Big Deal.

Description of Work: We had to replace a drop in range into a kitchen island. To make it more complicated it had to be a down draft, not very common, and dual fuel, also not common, and was replacing a telescoping downdraft no longer available. We have American Home Shield warrantee, just to make it harder. They purchased us a new stove and pay for the actual install, but not the retrofit of the space and confirming what would work in the space. I tried a private contractor who was a big help in determining what stove to order, then disappeared when I actually ordered it, never to be heard from again, stove delivered, sits in garage. Tried another company, large brand name, took over a month to get an appt just for an estimate, with a promise of not being able to do the work until September. FINALLY saw a truck with Homemasters phone number in my neighborhood and called them. They called within 48 hours, set up an appt for the next week to look at it, they came and brought the new stove upstairs, assured me it could be installed and they would do any work afterwards to make it look good ( space was larger than new stove in granite, had creative solutions and ideas to fill in), promised to be available if I needed them during the install. Company AHS sent for install was useless - 2 guys who had never installed a stove, 5 hrs later told me they couldn't do it, and left. Called HOMEMASTERS,they came in 24 hours, range is now correctly installed, thanks to 2 great service guys Brian and Dan. I would and will use HOMEMASTERS for any work I need done that they will do. This was the handyman side of the business and they are AWESOME!! Just the stuff I have around here to do will keep them in business for a while! Thank goodness I found them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Description of Work: It was a fiasco. The promised service couldn't be delivered and materials promised weren't available. The next time around they didn't show up and didn't call to tell me. Finally performed service that then cracked with a week. Final solution looks horrible. But I'm done dealing with them.

Description of Work: Homemasters replaced the grout in our entryway. They replaced the damaged grout and removed and color matched the rest. It has been over a year and the job has held up great. I would hire them again.

Description of Work: It took multiple attempts to get them scheduled. The crew when they took down the old gutter left dirt and debris on the deck.

Description of Work: First time I called them they cleaned and treated my roof. The second time I called them they gave me a quote to replace my roof. This has not been done as of yet.

Description of Work: Deep "scrub" of roof to remove moss. Zinc oxide treatment to kill moss growth in all remaining moss and r***** new growth (very minimal moss remained) Cleaned all gutters. Replaced the 4 old (19 yrs.) vent flanges/pipe, including the rubber seal. The rubber was dried and cracked and would not have remained viable much longer. When they finished, the ground was clean and there was no damage to anything. They carefully covered the air conditioning unit before starting to keep debris out. They also were careful with the shrubs,plants and patio furniture. They were here 20 minutes later than planned, but were coming through rush hour traffic. Understandable. They worked efficiently and were finished with everything in about 3 hours. Had no trouble communicating with very polite individual. Well done, just thought the price was a bit high, but not too unreasonable. I also had good experience with the office folks when I called with some questions. |

Description of Work: I used a Angie's Big Deal for gutter cleaning service. They did an excellent and thorough job. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Description of Work: I used this company to clean my gutters about a year ago. It was the second time I hired them and I was pleased both times - there were no surprises, they did the job well and they were responsive.

Description of Work: Warranty repair on roof they installed. It took 5 weeks for them to get to it.

Description of Work: They did a good job cleaning out our eave troughs and even went farther than asked by clearing out the eave trough on our unattached deck. My only criticism is they didn't come at the time agreed and didn't let me know they were delayed. They people I actually spoke with were very polite and I will call them again.

Description of Work: I thought they would demoss my entire roof. They did less than that, and I wasn't happy.
