Everything went just fine. They did a good job.

It is difficult to answer the questions. I live overseas and hired Homemasters through Angie's List to clean/inspect the roof and clean the gutters on my Washington-state house. I received no communication from them after the scheduled service date; I had to contact them. I am not confident that the roof was inspected/cleaned because there was no written report, just an email that said the technician had no report. The email also mentioned that the gutters appeared rusty and they would be happy to provide an estimate for replacing them. The house is 13 years old, so I am skeptical that gutters need replacing. I probably wouldn't hire them again.

I have used Homemasters services twice in the past year for my roof. I live under firs, maples, and alders that relentlessly assault my roof with needles, leaves, cones, seeds, etc. In addition to the debris itself, moss has been a problem on this relatively new roof. Homemasters has performed wonderfully in cleaning the roof and gutters and getting the moss under control. When I requested additional services they quoted a fair price and stuck to it. The service was scheduled in a timely manner and completed on schedule.

Called and set an appointment. When no one showed at the given time, I had to call and find out when they were going to show. They finally came later in the day. They blew off the roof and cleaned the gutters but left much of the debris where it landed. They did clean off the front and back porches but left much of the debris if it landed in a garden bed or lawn.

The representative came to our home and measured the house and gutters. We agreed to the expense of replacing the damaged gutters plus the remining gutters on the upper level roof. Whe the installer came out, he informed us that the bid was only for the gutters on the front of the house. He did not have enough product to go all the way around the house. The estimator measured all the way around the house and we were never told the bid was for only the front of the house. The gutters are great and I would recommend them but the whole experience was dissapointing.

The work was done on 12/15/11. We did not feel like they adequately cleaned the roof so we asked them to come back and re-do some areas on the garage. James and another gentleman came and met with us. At that time, we were informed that the coupon wasn't for a roof cleaning but roof maintenance. When I showed them the coupon that said it was roof cleaning, they said that Angie's List created that language and they didn't have any control over it. It was a rather unpleasant conversation. In the end, James said he would go back on the roof to fix our problems and he put some additional zinc oxide on the roof. In the end, the job met our expectations but it wasn't a good experience.

Front end person (shceduler) did a poor job communicatting with customer. Once job was scheduled, went well. There is a pattern to these special offers made by vendors. They are overwhelmed, and have a problem with the volume. I will not purchase any Angies List special offers again.

They came out and installed the rain barrell in the fall of 2011. In the spring of 2012 I went to use the rain barrel, but due to the slope and position of the barrell it was in effective for watering my garden area. I called them about this and they said they would have some one call me about arranginga time to take a look. A time was set up and no one ever showed or called to reset the date. The rain barrel is still ineffective. It needs to be on a high stand. I felt ripped off by this company and would likely not use them again.

Called them. They did it. No hassle. Paid by phone. Seamless, painless.

I called them on the 22nd of June and the receptionist said that someone would call me back on the 25th or 26th. No one called back. Then I called back to 27th of June and I have yet to hear from anybody

Good job cleaning roof, but I had to call them back out to clean debris blown from roof out of pond and off pathway. I was not home when service was performed. They were very responsive to returning and wanted to make sure we were pleased. Do make them aware of anything that needs to be protected or covered prior to work. Recommend being present to inspect work before they leave.

When I called to schedule an appt they were responsive, polite and helpful. The got me an appt within 5 business days. The guys that came were polite, fast and efficient... and extremely clean. You wouldn't even have know they were here if I hadn't been here while they were working. I would recommend this company (and will use them again myself).

I recommend them. I have never done a roof thing before so it was fairly new to me. I was happy with the service and they were very good.

I made an appointment to have the roof & gutters cleaned. At the time of the appointment. Leo called to say they would be a little late because the pouring rain was slowing the work. They were only about 30 minutes late but I really appreciated the call having had trouble in the past with other companies that just don't show up or come so late, I have already left the house. This roof hadn't been cleaned in years and the gutters were beginning to have enough in them to grow grass. Leo and his partner went right to work and did a great job cleaning the roof and gutters, including cleaning up the debris on the ground and blowing it off the porch. I was very pleased with the polite, hardworking team that did such a good job

They had a very competitive price. They did everything they said they would, and I feel that they did a great job.

We used a coupon with them. It worked out really well. They did a nice job, and they're coming back. I thought that they were very professional. They also gave good suggestions. They gave good recommendations.

It went very well. The team arrived and completed the work even though it was raining. The project manager and salesperson returned to wipe down the gutter faces at a later date.

We are so grateful. Not only did we make our deadline, but we are so thrilled to have a rain-water filled barrel for the coming summers!

I called in response to a special on Angies List. When I called they were able to quickly determine that my roof would not require any up-charges due to pitch or other unusual design features. The 2 man team showed up in time, introduced themselves, went to work and finished in under 2 hours. They cleaned a couple of odd sections of roof that I expected would be missed or unnoticed and even cleaned everything that was blown down onto my deck and driveway.

I said that wasn't much work, I was expecting my neigbors to see a miracle. He said you don't get miracles for $250. Well, my big deal said I would get a $500 job. They sent me a flyer after. It accurately described what they did. I sure wouldn't pay $500 for that little bit of work on purpose. Then one of my neighbors came over and sprinkled more zinc powder for free and my son swept the roof for $20.

The truck arrived and 3 men jumped out of the truck and got right to work! They even sprinkled zinc on the roof to keep the moss from growing. The roof was a mess for sure as it had not been cleaned for 2 years and there is a HUGE Oregon Maple right by the roof in front. I am so very thankful they came and did a job I did not want my husband to do as we are in our 50s and it was just not safe for him to do it. Thank you so much for taking care of our roof and gutters. I will DEFINITELY call again when it is time and hopefully before 2 years this time :)

They did a full gutter tear down and replacement at our home. They were not careful in taking our old gutter down. They damaged many of our flowers and bushes. The guttering was very ripply so they did come back to repair it.

Homemasters came back to my house to repair a downspout gutter that came apart free of charge that they had previously installed. The staff is very friendly, however they were slow at coming back to complete the gutter repair. I do have a lifetime warranty with their service so I will be using them again.

We purchased a 'Big Deal' for gutter cleaning from Homemasters on 2/8/2012. Per the instructions, I called to inquire about scheduling. I didn't hear back from Homemasters for 2+ weeks. Fast forward two weeks, Homemasters left a voicemail notifying me that our gutters would be cleaned on March 8, in the morning. The workers showed up on time, worked swiftly and did a great job. The price, quality and punctuality (once I heard back from Homemasters) were excellent. Further, I was assessed a $15 surcharge for having a home between 2,500 - 3,000 square feet. Our home is just under 2,000 sq. ft. We have an unfinished basement and crawlspace, which Homemasters included in their calculation. I understand that Homemasters used portlandmaps.com for the data. I've rated the responsiveness and professionalism of the company as fair.
