The appointment was easy to schedule, although it wasn't as soon as we would've liked (due to the popularity of the deal).

Came to do gutters and roof. I had windows done by same company which were perfect. Unfortunately, there were small parts of the job that weren't done perfectly on the gutters and roof. The technician offered to call the office. He did. Karen was willing to send out a second person to consult. They discussed the solutions. The 2nd tech was able to complete the job to perfection. The job was handled professionally, they did a good job at a reasonable price.

One of my gutters pulled away from the house and half of it was hanging off due to built up sediment and loose nails. I called on a Saturday when it happened, and they came out the following Wednesday to give an estimate for the repairs. The first impressions were great, because they had the estimate ready to go before I even got there for the appointment time. I also decided to add a full gutter cleaning along with replacing the broken gutter. The guy who gave the estimate said it usually takes about 7-10 days to come out and fix it, but they would call me to confirm the appointment within a day or two. When they finally called back with the appointment time a day or two later they said they couldn't get out for over 3 weeks. When they did come out to fix the gutter, they did a splendid job on rearing the gutter, but didn't clean the gutters at all. I figured maybe another crew would come out the next day or two and clean the gutters, but I didn't get a chance to check because we had to head out of town for the holidays. When I got back I checked the gutters again and they were in the same condition as they were before I left. So I called up Homemasters and complained. They were very responsive to the complaint and sent James Roberts out to take a look. He apologized for not cleaning the gutters and said a new crew would come out and clean them. He also mentioned that I should do the VIP upgrade to help control the moss on my roof. I agreed. That same day a crew came out and cleaned the gutters on the front, and the second story, but after they left I did a walk around and checked the gutters on the first floor of the back of the house and they weren't event touched. It didn't seven seem as the crew bothered to walk around the house and see if there were gutters. I wrote an email to James Roberts detailing my concerns about the lack of quality and asking for more info about the VIP treatment. I wanted to know if there was any way I could confirm it was completed, since I had bad luck with work being completed by Homemasters before. He never wrote back so I called them up and complained. The man on the phone was helpful, but made excuses that they crew probably cleaned the gutters from the roof, and didn't see the back gutters. Also I got some more info about the VIP upgrade for the roof treatment. It should take about a month or two to start working. I have my suspicions that they might not have even applied it, but I will see if it works in a month or so and call back and let them know. I liked working with Homemasters and had high hopes, but so far I have been disappointed by the lack of quality and timeliness. Hopefully others had a better experience than I did.

I started with gutter cleaning deal. I called to let them know they had left spigots on. The attitude of thewoman I spoke with made me try them on closing up and insulating a shed. Also ended up roofing it. I was very pleased with the quality of the work and the speed. So I ending up getting my house roof done. I got the presentation on the roofs they do and was impressed with the owner Dick and what he had to say. The roof looks great and I watched them doing every step just like Dick presented. I will use HomeMasters again.

I really don't know if my gutters were cleaned or not but I'm assuming they were. I haven't been up to check but the work was done so quickly that I was surprised.

I needed the gutters cleaned so I called and made an appointment for about 10 days out, which was fine. I received a call on the scheduled day that they were running a little behind, which was acceptable, and I appreciated the notice. The service was performed, a note left on my door and a sign placed in my front yard, which sort of bugged me - did I say it was ok to advertise in my yard? I don't know, but I let it pass. Obviously I did not attempt to inspect my gutters, but numerous rainy days since have not revealed any problems, so it appears that the job was performed well. The note on my door also stated my roof needed maintenance, I don't know what that means exactly but I will pursue that at a later date.

Telephone staff was very professional and personable. The work was performed on time and with much attention to keeping my plants protected and they also did a good job of cleaning up after themselves.

I've called several times to schedule my deal, but they never call me back. Everyone seems to be out of the office. I've decided to get a refund.

My experience was good. The date they set when I called was a longer wait time than I had expected, but it is the busy time of year for this type of service, so I was not too disappointed. The scheduled time was between 1:00pm and 5:00pm and they arrived early, around 11:30am or noon, which was ok, but I had other workers here at the time and it caused a bit of a parking conflict, though it was minor and everyone was accommodating. They workers were very professional and very fast. They did a great job and cleaned up well around the house, which I really appreciated. They answered questions for me and brought my attention to areas that were in disrepair and would need fixing soon, which I also appreciated. The only thing that I could remotely register as a complaint, and it is not even that, is that one of the workers had his dog with him, which is fine, but I have a fear of dogs and when I came outside to greet them, I was startled by the dog in my yard. I would have preferred if the dog had been left in the van until I had been altered to its presence. I would not have minded it being out as long as I knew it was there. Other than that, it was a bang up job. I even received a follow up call from their offices to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I have used Home Masters in the past and used them again for a reason, and will continue to do so in the future. Great company.

as an Angie's List special Overall I was quite satisfied. Even though there was a " bump in the road", they were good to work with and always arrived on time. With the first leak we had a contract to repair leak, but it didn't anticipate the extensive time & materials necessary to fix 2nd leak: they had to remove old drip metal and replace with 40 feet of new metal. This involved removing some shingles & replacing with new. They didn't charge for any of this - only for the original contract. I feel they're a fair and reliable company and am glad to have found them.

They did a good job on the gutters. They did a mediocre job on the roof.

The workers were professional, and did a very good job in cleaning the roof. I even recommended the company to my neighbors who also had their roof cleaned by Homemasters. However, one of the downspout became clogged when the rain reason started, raised the question whether excessive debris was washed down the spout during the roof cleaning. Homemasters later installed a new gutter system for my house, with the assessment that the original gutter was too small for the size of the roof, and was made of metal that has begun to rust after only 6 years.

Other than it took over one month to schedule the installation after signing initial contract, the workers arrive on time, and finished the installation in one day as promised. My wife was impressed with one of the 3 workers, who apparently did most of the work. The negotiation included installation of the leaf trap, which was not noted on the written contract. When reminded, the workers checked the contract, and stated the traps were not listed on the installation order, and did not install them. I later contacted the sales rep, Don, who apologized and honored the agreement. The company later sent 2 workers on a Saturday to install the leaf trap in 8 out of my 9 downspouts, which I am not sure why. I presumed it was because the rain barrel was attached to it. There was also a leak in one area better the house and the gutter after the gutter installation. This was corrected by the worker when they return for the leaf trap installation. The gutter comes with life time warranty, which is part of the reason I am willing to pay more for. Overall the experience was good, and made better with the courteous and responsive sales rep. update 3/2016 We had gutter installed by them. Had some post installation minor issues which they came out and fixed it. I was under the impression the gutter has a life time warranty from them. Now part of the gutter came loose, lead to a leak into my ceiling. They sent 2 persons out, did half an hour of work, and ended up with a $281 bill. I am still yet to find out if the leak has been fixed. It just seems quite over priced, repairing something that could have been due to initial installation problem. The service came days after the initial promised date.

The crew showed up on time. They explained what they were going to do. They did a great job and quickly handled a issue on the billing. Very professional.

The service was okay. I need to contact them to inquire about one of the gutters that was not cleaned. It took them a while to respond and do the work but it was during the busy season.

The whole process was easy.

The crew was early to my appointment and had all the work completed before my scheduled time. They were quick and cleaned up thoroughly after they completed their work. I will use them again for this service next year.

I called the company twice to schedule a time to clean the gutters with their $119 special deal 12.21.2012. They could not do the work before 1.4.2012 but by 1.11.2012 and at $175 once they found out the square footage of the house. So, I was not that happy that this began to sound like a "bait and switch" deal with the pricing. I called them again on 12.28.2012 to get a definite date and confirmed 1.5.2013 between 9-11 AM. Two people showed up at 8:30 AM. I asked them what it would cost to also blow off the debris from the roof and they told me that would be an additional $75 for a total of $250 as part of their "VIP Deal". I agreed and they finished the entire blowing + cleaning of gutters and drains within an hour . Although I had to remind them to blow off the roof debris now collected on my deck, I was reasonably satisfied with the work performed. I still think that Angie's List needs to make it clear that a "special price" needs to be "special" and not a "hook" to get a customer to call and find out that there is a square footage angle to the deal that might increase the "special deal". This seems shady to me.

Homemasters was very professional on scheduling and evaluating my particular roofing/gutter issue. After reviewing the issues, they sent out a small crew to perform the work. They were very professional and polite. Once completed, they cleaned up all materials and left my home looking great. I would definitely use them again.

Used the coupon advertised for roof cleaning and moss removal. While everything was done as advertised, the fine print shows that they do much less than you might think. Two guys were here for 20 minutes, hosed off the roof and sprinkled some white powder and were gone. Hard to justify the money to me.

Purchased the gutter cleaning deal on AL in late October and promptly contacted HOMEMASTERS to schedule a date for them to come and the clean the gutters. I was called back and given the date of November 28th. A month out? Really? Last year I had All Surface do the work and they came out a week later after calling. Same time of year too. Well I had already spent the money, but my gutters were pretty filled so I borrowed a neighbor's ladder and got up there and did the work myself. I figured someone coming out and cleaning all the gutters wouldn't hurt so I kept the appointment. Plus, I had already spent the money and wasn't sure on the refund policy. On Nov 28th, they showed up on time and they did the job quickly. Maybe 30 minutes? I was not home at the time but when i got back I walked around the house and noticed that every single side and window frame was covered in debris. I took a photo and promptly emailed it to their customer support email. I didn't hear anything back but a couple hours some guys from HOMEMASTERS returned and said they were there to do the cleanup. I'm not sure if they were the same guys who did the original work. The guys got most of the dirt off but there are still some stains on the window frames. They are white so I will just have to tackle them with paint in the Springtime. A week later I was contacted on the phone by the business to see how the work went and I swear what I thought was a courtesy call turned into an up sell to get me to replace my gutters. I called them out on that and they promply said goodbye. I do want to mention that the guys who showed up to do the cleanup work were super nice and professional and I'm sure they were just under company order to do this job as quick as possible. My recommendation? If you are looking at an Angie's List deal, call the business and tell them you are looking at the deal and ask them if purchased how long it will take to have the work scheduled. If I had known it would take a month, I would not have purchased this deal.

Overall, we are happy wiht the work that was completed. They called timely to schedule the appointment and told us it would be a few weeks out. That wasn't a problem for us as weren't in a rush to have the gutters cleaned. The only issue we faced is the day of the appointment I received a call that they went to the wrong house. They had a former address on file for a previous home we had them do work at. They were still however to complete the work that same day so I was satisfied. Also followed up with a call to make sure we were happy with the work. Only thing I would suggest is to confirm the address you have on file prior to the appoinment.

We have a large house and our gutters were flooding out our neighbor. We explained the situation to Homemasters and they managed to work us into their schedule the same day. They were professional, quick and did a wonderful clean up when finished. We will use them again.
