The work done was of good quality. My issue is with the scheduling. I purchased one of their maintenance packages which provided spring/fall cleanings. One of their sales points is that they keep track of the scheduling so that it's "fire and forget" on the client end. Unfortunately, the last 4 times service was due I had to call to schedule the service. Generally, I was told I'd get a callback to schedule, which often took a couple of days. Perhaps it's not that big of a deal, but I don't think a service should be sold in that way if there is no follow-through.

I was expecting the moss to be removed. It was sprayed but left on. My wife was home when it was done and she was told it would kill the moss but I am not sure what I got out of this. The moss is stil there. It's still green and it still plugs my gutters.

I was impressed by their service. It was easy to schedule a appointment, they came on time, and I am very happy with the job they did.

I did not witness the work itself, as it was done during the day. But judging by the results -- the work went fine. About one year after the work was done, no moss has returned to the composite roof. The workers cleaned up the debris fairly well. My only quibble is that it took a couple phone calls to get the job scheduled, but the office people were courteous. Seems like a good value for the money.

They did what we wanted. They cleaned all of the gutters thoroughly and provided a basic inspection of the roof. Seemed to be completed in a timely manner and as expected. Thanks!

the screen doors look good. the lock faces on the kitchen door looks fine. the window was taken and never returned. they had a large piece of wood covering where our window was. we called them about 31 times to ask for the window. finally the man who fixed the window brought it over. we paid him and not the provider, who ignored us. we paid the provider for the screens and lock faces through Angie's list - about 300.00. we paid 500.00 towards the 2,000 bill for our window. they did not give us our 500 back. we paid separately the man who actually made the window and brought it over. we put the window in ourselves. it was not a good deal.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and they came out relatively quickly. They left a really big mess unfortunately. The roof doesn't have any moss on, so the job they did was great, but after they left, all the debris from the roof was all over our front yard, and front deck. We did tell them about this after we called them, and told them we were disappointed. The price was good, they did what they were supposed to, but they didn't clean up after themselves.

He was very nice, but I didnt hire them because their price was substationally higher than the other bids that I have received.

It went well, they did a great job. The roof cleaning and gutter cleaning were fine. Two of the downspouts weren't thoroughly cleaned; I was at work and didn't have the option to add the thorough downspout cleaning while they were there.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went well. Unless you climb up to the roof yourself, you’ll never know. But all the gutters that I could see looked like they were very thoroughly cleaned. The guys cleaned up the patio area around the house where the debris would have fallen really well, too. I was very pleased. It was a pretty good deal, considering how high my roof was. I thought they were gonna charge me extra for a large roof but I got the deal from them and it was equal to the amount of the coupon. I was heading out to the office when they arrived. I said hello, came back that night, and everything was done. I’ve had no issues with them. I did have to call them back one time.

Great job, great service, reasonable price.

Provider called and told me they would perform the gutter cleaning on a Thursday afternoon and that it was not necessary for me to be present (which was a bonus). When I got home Thursday nite, there was a card on the door saying the job was complete. I did not get on a ladder to check, but on Saturday, the rain was torrential. We had no gutter overflow and all of the downspouts were running efficiently, so it would certainly appear everything was done as promised.

They were on time, did a good a job, they were polite, and worked around my schedule. I was pretty happy with Homemasters.

Arrived as scheduled and completed the work in less than half an hour. The workers were polite and responsive to my questions.

The work crew arrived by 8:00 am on a Wednesday morning to remove my roof. By 2pm the old shingles were gone and the new waterproofing materials had been put in place. So, of course, it rained a lot that night! Our first big rain in many weeks and I'm happy to say the waterproofing worked because there weren't any leaks. The next day the new shingles arrived and the crew had them up by the end of the day. They also replaced and changed the drain configuration of my gutters that week. Homemasters cleaned up all the mess and were very respectful of the plants growing close to the house. If I had to find something to complain about it would just be that the crew didn't seem to know about my request to change the drain configuration of the gutters. Since it was very important to me to have that change, I made a point to talk to the crew about it before they started putting up the new gutters, just in case. Fortunately it was an easy change and they took care of it. All the guys that came to do the work were professional and courteous. I will definitely keep them in mind for future jobs around my house.

I was able to schedule the service exactly when I wanted and got a reminder call to confirm a few days before. The furniture went together in a flash and looks great. He was able to assemble furniture even without instruction manual. Unfortunately the service and was unable to install dimmer switches so I had to use another contractor for that.

Salesman came to our home with samples. Was very knowledgeable of the product and how it was to be installed. We set a date and time for the work to be done. On the day of installation, the crew was well prepared and on time. Job was completed in 2 days to our complete satisfaction. They thoroughly cleaned our property of all scraps and nails when they were finished. A job well done.

Not only was he on time, he was a little early! He was professional and very pleasant. Things were done well and in a timely manner. Will probably purchase another of the company's Big Deals.

They did get up on my roof. But I'm not sure what they did once they got up there. When they did get off, they urged me to buy an item and place it on my roof. They indicated if I didn't I would have severe leaking. The next day I got a call from their roofing salesman. He indicated that my roof was is bad shape and should be replaced very soon! Also, they verified my address before they came out to my home. The employees did find my home to give me their roofing services. However, their billing department sent my statement to the wrong address. When the statement finally did get to the correct address they threatened to sent the bill to a collection agency. .

Homemasters often replies to complaints published here with a rote message to the effect "we're working on better communications." So, Homemasters, although I am satisfied with the initial sales call, scheduling, punctuality and the overall job done to replace roofs I would probably not use you again simply because of poor communication, and don't bother to tell me you're working on it. Their sales person, Greg, signed me up after he came out to inspect the roofs and recommended replacement rather than the cleaningnthatvwas the current special on Angie's List. I had already gotten three estimates for a roofing job, and the bid he offered compared favorably to those. Work began when scheduled and was estimated to take 2 days. At the end of the day, I talked to the head of the work crew, who told me that the entire garage roof would have to have Sheetrock applied, which he thought was included in the contract. He said he had already talked to his office, and gotten the go-ahead. I asked him whether he had already installed the sheet-rock, and he indicated yes. Since my contract price specifically excluded the cost of sheet-rock, I was extremely alarmed. When I finally managed to reach someone at the office, I was told that no sheet-rock would be added until this issue had been discussed with me by the sales person. The next day, Greg came back and said that since the wood under the existing roof had knot holes in it, roofing could not be applied without first adding sheet-rock. The knot holes, of course, were plainly visible to us as we discussed them, and were just as visible on the day Greg initially looked at the property. The issue they raised surely could have been identified and discussed at the time of the original inspection and before I signed the contract excluding sheet-rock. Greg assured me that the need for sheet-rock could not have been foreseen, although this seemed very unlikely. The cost of adding sheet-rock put about 10% on top of the contract cost. Greg assured me it would be supplied "at cost", although I have no way of knowing one way or the other about this. At that point, I felt I had no choice but to agree to the extra expense and accordingly the work proceeded. Greg refused to give me any break on the overall price, even though the sheet-rock issue should have been identified at the outset. Other Angie's List customers of Homemasters have reported being able to negotiate the sheet-rock price, but Greg would not as he said it was supplied at cost. Not happy, Homemasters.

First there was a pre-visit with analysis of cost/service. 2nd visit was actual work with suggestions for future more extensive work. Service man was punctual and polite and cleaned up well.

Prompt, professional and a job well done. On time, looks good, and most importantly, resolved issues.

The two man team arrived on time and began to work. However, within 30 minutes they informed us that the tile was in such bad condition and the mold so deep that they would not be able to complete the work. They gave us credit with their company for the three hours of handyman work that we purchased. They cleaned up and left. We have yet to use the credit. We ended up redoing the whole shower using a different contractor. I was please that they were honest about the work and did not charge us for the time that they did spend before they determined it was not doable.

They left piles of debris on my patio from the gutters. The debris had rust in it and stained my patio. After many months the stains are fading. I had to go out and clean my patio after they were here.
