I can't comment on their actual work, but their customer service leaves something to be desired. I bought an Angie's List Big Deal and basically I don't think they could handle the volume. I received a message saying they would contact me to schedule me but they never did. I called them and was told they were booking 8+ weeks out. I explained that was too far out as my gutters were already overflowing while I was waiting for someone to contact me (as they said they would), and they told me someone would contact me. Nobody ever did. This went on for a while and I ultimately found someone else to do it. When I called to see about a refund or extending the voucher until next season, they said they didn't know but would have someone contact me. A week later I called them back because nobody had called me and I was told I would need to contact Angie's List for a refund. They said they couldn't handle the volume. Overall a huge waste of time.

They cleaned the gutters and the leaves off the roof. They were very professional and asked me if I had any concerns or questions. They even installed a broken drain.

Cleaned my gutters & blew away all the debris from it. Also removed moss from my roof, but it wasn't included, so I agreed to pay an extra $50. Overall, excellent work, but a little pricey even with Angie's List deal.

It went very well. The gentleman who came out to quote the work took a careful look at the counter top and new sink and told me it was just nailed to the cabinet. This was in direct opposition to what a previous handyman had said (the original handy man said the top was epoxied to the cabinet.). Since this company had a special "Handyman for a day" coupon, I purchased that, which saved me about $30. The only issue I had was after I purchased the coupon I expected to get a call from Homemasters and I did not get one. After a week, I called and had to repeat my situation to 3 different people before I got the information that someone would call me. To their credit, I received 2 calls from them soon afterwards, one to tell me the scheduler would call me and the second was the scheduler. We set up an appointment time and the handyman and his helper arrived about 30 minutes early, and went right to work. They were able to finish the job by noon. I was very happy with the results, and plan to use Homemasters again the next time I need help of this nature. I will attach pictures.

Took over a week for company to return call, said he would show up either Friday or Saturday for estimate, never showed up, never called back.

When they arrived, they came with two men. They explained that they would work for one and a half hours between the two of them. They explained that if I wanted to pay extra, they would finish the work I had wanted done. They did a good job, but I was disappointed with the deal.

We hired this company to clean our gutters on Angie's Big Deal. They performed the basic service but we did not feel they went above and beyond. Scheduling was also rather a hassle. Overall fine, but not amazing.

They showed up late but got to work blowing off the roof and I don't know what else. Hammering in various areas of the roof. After they finished they said everything was fine that they had to tighten up a few areas (I know we have problems in the back two corners)and that was it. When it finally rained there were leaks from the gutters over the front door and garage (that were not there before). So I called to have they could come out and repair those areas. I set up an appointment and a half hour before they were to come and give me an estimate I received a call to say they would be unable to make the appointment. We set up an appointment for that Thursday but they never called or came. I am disappointed since they got such a good score from the list. Now I have to find someone to correct what they broke.

Salesman showed up at 12 noon for a 2 pm appointment set by the office. Called and said he was going to be late for the appointment to sign the contract. Was never asked where dumpster should be located. Dropped in front of my garage door, which wasn't supposed to be blocked. The roof was supposed to be started on Thursday. Starting consisted of showing up to drop off a ladder and some wood planks along the side of my house. No work was done. Called the office to find out what was going on, as I was promised the job would be completed Saturday. The office told me the work was started, but I couldn't see what they had done, since it was high on the top of the roof. I thought that was interesting, as the dumpster was still empty. Roof was not put on within promised time. Worked Saturday and Sunday starting at 7 am. Neighbors complained to me. Salesman (Greg) stated he would be on the job the first day. Never showed up or heard from, once contract was signed. Job was rushed...had to come back and cut metal off the sides that was hanging off the eves. Sloppy clean up. There were shingles all over the back yard, in the bushes along the side of the house and the front of the house. Nails and staples were also everywhere. Looks like a brand new box of nails were spilled in my ceder chips. Good thing my dogs weren't home at the time! When the gutters were installed, they showed up a different day than was scheduled. Once again, a complete mess was left behind for me to clean up. They were extremely careless when they removed the gutters. The end result was a dishonest crew trying to cover up their damage. The downspout on my front porch was torn out, causing the aggregate to break apart. When they were done installing the new downspout, they carefully placed all of the pieces they broke back into place, hoping the damage would go un-noticed. When I called the office, I was told there was no report of any damage. I took pictures and emailed them. I was told someone would come out and fix the roof, install my attic fan and repair the aggregate. I have an uneven blob of some sort of gray silicone substance on my front porch. It stands out worse than when the put the pieces back into place. I also have gutters that hold dirt and water very well. They are not angled, so they drain the water. I was also informed, by the salesman (Greg) I would receive a free VIP cleaning service (roof and gutters in one year). I feel like I was crammed in and certainly didn't get what I was originally sold. I have been threatened to be sent to collections, since I haven't paid the other half of the balance due. I paid half upon signing the contract, but haven't paid the balance, as the work has not been completed in a correct and professional manor. I would like the front porch repaired, to look like it wasn't damaged, the gutters to be properly installed, so they drain the water, and a discount off the balance owed for all of the phone calls, complaints, deception and poor work received.

They told me since I had a tile roof they did not want to walk on it for fear of breakage. They did not walk to use a moss prevention because it would bleach the tiles. He went around, banged on the gutter downspouts and said they were clear and didn't need to be cleaned. They left without doing anything and said they didn't understand why the package was sold to me. While I appreciate the gentleman was upfront about the cleaning, I'm disappointed that I paid for the package over 7 weeks ago and then was scheduled out so far - and now I'm left with trying to find out how to get my roof cleaned by someone else and my money back from HomeMasters.

They re-caulked the tub and the shower, and re sealed the shower door. They also cleaned the tile in the shower. and very courteous. UPDATE: On closer inspection after the caulking and sealing dried, we noticed open areas in the caulking where the shower wall meets the floor, where water could leak into the wall and floor. The work around the tub was very good. UPDATE Dec. 9 Gary responded to my email with photos right away. His handyman twosome was out here today, to rectify the problem with the caulking. For some reason, the caulk had come out along the floor/wall seams. It is supposed to be ready after 3 hours, and we actually waited till the next day before using the shower. They used a hair dryer and vacuum to dry out the seams, and re-caulked it all. We agreed to wait two days before using the shower.Looks great now.

After talking with my husband and providing an estimate, he said he had an appointment to meet someone else in our neighborhood to provide an estimate. He came back after talking to them and asked if we had decided. We felt pressured and said we had not decided yet. We also had two other roofing companies provide an estimate. We decided to go with another roofing company that did an outstanding job. When I told him that we had gone with another roofing company, he asked why. He sounded like he was irritated with me. Very unprofessional.

I purchased the coupon hoping to get my gutters cleaned before the next big rainfall. The vendor never called me. Then, when I finally reached out to them, they told me I was at least six weeks out on their schedule. This would be halfway through winter before having them serviced which was unacceptable to me. I was able to call another vendor who did the work the next day and with stellar results for less money even than the coupon value.

Nice job of cleaning up. Very satisfied.

This was an awful experience. After playing email and phone tag with the company. We were finally able to schedule a gutter/roof inspection. I asked the company when scheduling if after the roof inspecition and sales pitch if the gutter cleaning would be performed and the answer was yes. When the person arrived they did an inspection and tried to sell us gutter covers. They then said if we purchase the covers they would clean the gutters, but if we did not it would take an additional 3-4 weeks before they would come out to clean the gutters. I called angie's list and filed a complained. They issued me a refund without any issues. This company is very misleading and ruins the integrity of angie's list. I highly advise not to purchase any deals from this company.

Justin led the two person crew (Justin and Dan). He greeted me professionally, listened to my requests and did an excellent job cleaning the gutters and cleaning up the gutter debri and more. In addition, Justin brought the excess debri to our compost pile and left the outside better than he found it. I asked Justin to inspect the areas of the gutter which overflow during rainstorms. He showed me the downspout leaf-catchers causing the overflow and made very helpful suggestions for correcting the problem. Both Justin and Dan left a very favorable impression of Homemasters. I'll use them again. Thank you!!

The only problem I had was scheduling. But when they did come they did a good job.

Prompt response. 2 workers arrived on time. They complained that they didnt do kitchen floor grout restoration, even though the deal was for 'kitchen/bath caulking and grout restoration.' Eventually they agreed to clean the kitchen grout, and proceeded to scrape the grout. They did a so-so job. My wife thought the guy was a little rude. For the price, can't complain much though.

They came and saw what needed to be done. There was some electrical work that needed to be done that would have cost 500 extra, which I was fine with. However, they said it would also be $900 more for an extra day of work and that it probably wouldn't be started to sometime next month because of how busy they were. So, it turned out to be double the price.

I purchased a gutter cleaning Angie's Deal. It took 3 phone calls over several weeks to get scheduled and over a month to get done. Did an ok job and cleaned up the mess. Small additional job I requested of estimator/salesman (install missing downspout) took another month and several phone calls, including one to correct the wrong color supplied by installer. On top of that they had the audacity to place a large advertising sign in my front yard when they left after I'd gone back in the house.

Frankly, we were disappointed. They were scheduled to arrive between 1-3 Monday, but since they weren't here by 4:15 we called to re-schedule. We were sorry we'd spent the afternoon waiting for them. They did come at 8:30 the next morning. There were two men who walked the roof with a liquid sprayer that smelled much like bleach water. So far we see no evidence of any moss die off, but perhaps it's slow acting. They blew the leaves out of the gutters leaving most of the dirty 'gunk' behind since it was so wet. But right in the front of the house, on the white gutters, is a big overflow glop of mud we didn't see until after they had gone. I suppose it will be there all winter. They left without comment on the roof, so we are guessing that they didn't find any problems. They were here a little more than 30 minutes.

They did a good job. They spent an extra hour here so we paid them extra for one hour. It was not a good or a bad experience. It was fine. We asked them to paint a room and they painted it. They were good and they did not suck. Their pricing was over the top and they did not leave any unpainted spot. They were really surprised that we were asking them for painting but they did it anyway. I am a customer service guy and I do not remember anything bad about them. I have no reason not to use them again in the future if I need to.

The work was done in the time they said. The worker put in long days and did a very good job. I would recommend them to anyone. We were very pleased.

It worked out great. It went really well. They did a lot of work for me. They’re on time and they did what they said. They said that the roof was not suitable for sale, that it wouldn’t last more than 10 years. They stood behind their idea that the roof would last more than 10 years and they were there for me to do that so that was nice. When I hired them, that’s what I wanted to happen. I told them I wanted the roof to pass the inspection. I didn’t want any surprises with the house inspector at the end of the sale. The inspector said that the roof did need replacing. Homemasters was there for me to tell the inspector and they gave me a certification without a lot of hassle. It was great that they were able to speak on my behalf and help me out with that inspection and get my house go through quickly. I paid an additional amount because they did more work. Everything was clean and done in a day. They were very neat about everything. The house was for sale at that time so they couldn’t be messy while they were working. They were pretty pricey.
