Contractor was a pleasure to work with, and made sure things were done right, as well as answered many questions a long the way.

This man was terrible in what he did. The tile he did not measure right before he started the splash board area so have spaces at end of small counter top. His answer was its not his speciality? Why did he then say he can do the job? This was not all he did. New screen door does not go way down to the bottom of entrance so insects come in u can see right out under it. His answer thats not his speciality? Also said it was the "same" screen door like what he took it should have fit right back on. He also rescreened a door which he got off track called me to say something was wrong with the door I said you have it off track thats why it will not open farther. He rescreened it lost a screw never said a word about it when I opened that area up in Spring to air out rooms I could not open that screen. The lock would not even line up so door could be locked and he never said one word when he left that he could not do that right after he messed it up. Now that screen door is bent from him trying to get it back into the track then out again to rescreen it. He painted the kitchen and has over spray or excess paint on Oak trim that remark also was painting is not his "cup of tea". New dishwasher he installed I had to call him back it was not lined up inside the space right. He tried to adjust it landed up adding a couple pieces of trim work and of course charged me for it plus he got paid for the regular installation. Heat cycle does not dry the dishes & inside dishwasher is all wet even next day after washing them and it says that the installation and placement of the lines he installed could be the reason why it don't dry. I would NEVER recommend him or hire him again I feel I at 78 years old was ripped off. I now am to hire somebody else to fix this PROFESSIONALS work? Yes he was on time and yes he did clean up after himself but he is no professional! He was going to come back to do another project this spring that he could not do then but I will NOT have him here again.

James removed a large bathtub/shower and replaced it with a marble shower and new vinyl flooring. The job came out beautifully and James was very professional. He was always on time and kept in constant contact with us. We plan to use his services again in the future.

We hired James for a large junk haul project at our business. He did a great job. He was efficient and fast. Would definitely hire again.

James caulked the baseboards, installed molding for a bay window, and installed a fireplace door . The quality of his work is excellent and he gets it done quickly with fair pricing. I'll be calling him for other home projects.

First I checked this website reviews and called James. These reviewers were absolutely right! Thank you for recommending James. My husband and I were totally satisfied his job and fee. He is like Les Schwab for us...No hassle and no worries over his service and fee.

I was in desparate need of a handy man and looking to hire for a remodel. James exceeded my expectations and I was very pleased. He's fair, honest and a when he says he'll do something by this time, he delivers. I live in a condo and I am secretary for the Association and have hired him as our maintenance man. I deserves a 5 star rating.

James was great! His work was excellent, he was always on time and came when he said he would be here. He seems to know how to do everything, whether it's a small or big job. He also has good ideas on what needs to be done. I would hire him again when I need help and will recommend him to my friends.

It was a pleasure to work with James at Classic Renovations. He helped me to understand the problems with the bathroom floor in my rental house and went the extra mile to do the job right. As a result of his help, I didn't rent the house, I sold it!

James was wonderful to work with. He listened carefully to what we wanted, bid the job appropriately, always showed up on time and left the property neater than when he arrived. He was as non-invasive as possible, but stopped to listen and adjust his process when needed (i.e. leaving a door untaped so I could come and go, adapting his painting around an outlet that needed to have something plugged in, etc.). And great sense of humor to too!

Mr. Hannum was the consummate pro. He was timely with his estimate, and timely in finishing the job. The quality was top-notch, both in materials and in labor. His estimate was competitive, and in at least one case, about 1/3 the estimate of another (non-ServiceMagic) contractor. I definitely recommend him. He re-finished my deck and made it look sparkling brand new again. I will definitely re-contact him when the deck again needs to be re-finished, and I will definitely re-contact him if I have any other contracting jobs to get done around my house. He is polite, and considerate of your needs and desires. RECOMMENDED!

Our fence wasn't an easy one to build...with wire and framing...and on a sloped yard! James did an incredible job..every frame is perfectly level! His craftsmanship is outstanding! Many people walked by our yard and have complimented on the beautiful work. James is dependable, reasonably priced and hardworking! He always called to let me know the progress of getting the materials and the estimates on powdercoating the wire. It's hard to believe our fence was done by one man...it looks like it should have been 2-3 men! He is quality..and whatever job it is you need, James will do an outstanding job!

He was very good to work with and did a very nice job. He had other obligations, as well as I, so the job took longer to complete. He did a fine job for me. I would highly recommend him to others.
