When I requested they come out so I could show them exactly where I wanted things they would only give me a quote over the phone. After I explained my reasoning, they still said that's just the way we do it. So, I was disappointed with the service. I wanted someone to come out and look at everything so I could get a more exact quote. They were polite but I was just disappointed with the lack of customer service.

I called the week before and Kevin promptly called me back. He came a little early, but called to let me know. I was at the vet's and he said it was no problem. He and his assistant Paul were there when I got home. They put on their camouflage botties and followed me up the stairs to check out the dryer. They determined that the dryer vented to the ceiling. They brought up all of their equipment - being very careful not to ding the walls. They were done in about 30 minutes - it was much faster than I anticipated. Kevin is very professional and nice and I felt comfortable having him and his assistant in my home. I also appreciate that Kevin said my vent wasn't that bad - rather than playing it up and telling me this was something I needed to have done more often. He also guarantees his work and assured me if I had any problems he would come back out.

Fairly well. They had to postpone service date due to illness; this was probably due to the small size of the business. This might have inconvenienced someone on a tighter schedule than us. They cut the hole for the heating duct a little too low to clear an obstruction, which led to slots cut in the wall after the duct cover was installed. This will require minor patch work. Otherwise, work was thorough and efficient.

It went pretty smooth, Kevin is a pretty nice guy and tend to do a pretty good job. They left teh area clean and tehy clean the drier vent for free while other companies can charge more than $50 dollars. They do have a competitive price, they initial estimate the job to be close to $360, I told him I was not sure if I counted the vent number properly, he told me that each additional vent would be $12. It turned out there were more vents than I predicted and he finally charged me $415. He did not top it to $400 as he seems to have done to another customer as far as I can read from his report. But you know, the deal was $12 per vent so I am not too disappointed with this.

Kevin was great -- very responsive and personalble over email and phone. He and his technician arrived on time and quickly and efficiently worked out how best to tackle the job. They were very mindful of not making a mess or being overly disruptive. Kevin found a problem with how one of our ducts had been set up coming out of the furnace (basically someone had tried to join two totally different sizes of duct together) and did a quick fix free of charge. The ducts are now clean just in time for winter. Thanks, Duct Guys!

When I called them to get an estimate, I was not sure if there was a special Angie's list discount. Kevin went online himself and emailed the discount coupon to me. Kevin and his assistant arrived on time and did a walkthrough of the house. They explained in detail how the work will be performed. They did a very professional job of thoroughly scrubbing each duct and the intake vent. They also cleaned the dryer vent for free as a special offer. All in all, a delightful experience...

I grossly underestimated the amount of ducts I have, but the guys were good about not charging me a crazy amount. In fact, he said he would cap it off at $400 and clean an extra dryer vent for me. They showed up promptly on a Friday afternoon and worked like mad to get it all clean. The guys were very professional and tried very hard to make me a satisfied customer. The only complaint I have and why I won't use them again is the whole process felt somewhat dirty, which is not my experience in the past. maybe it was just how fast they were trying to go, but they were a bit sloppy with the hose (which seemed somewhat dirty) that they used to clean out the vents, and when all was said and done, I found debris on a couple of beds and dirty fingerprints on the ceiling by the vents. Also, some of the vents now do not hang properly because the holes were stripped. In fact, they are now hanging by a thread. I feel like that is something he should have remedied. I also think they should have been more careful to cover furniture if they were going to drag dirty hoses across them. They did say that cleaning up with a shop vac is part of the process, but I told them I would rather just do it myself with my hepa vaccuum. He did feel bad and promised to give me a great deal next time, but I think I will probably go with someone else in the future. If you're looking for a good deal and don't mind the mess, I would use them. I really feel bad writing this report, because they were such nice guys. I just want to be honest! Update: He came back to remedy the vents that were not hung properly. There are still some spots on the ceiling, but easily remedied with soap and water (ok except for the vaulted ceilings). I can tell this is an honest businessman who is going for the American Dream. He is a rare breed of business man and I would highly recommend, so I'm revising my rating to an A.

These guys were great. They sandwiched me into their schedule when I explained my situation. You could hear the stuff going into the vacuum as the cleaning progressed. We have an awkwardly configured dryer situation that has caused problems for years. Other companies have tried different solutions and my husband has searched for a solution; after all these years these guys had the parts to fix the problem. Nice, knowledgeable, fast and reasonably priced. They tell me they're just getting into the whole house duct business and I think I'll give them a try. Highly recommend.

The Duct Guys did a great job. Two of them worked together. They asked how many registers we had before they came; then confirmed this on a walk-through when they arrived the day of the job. They charge per vent, and explained what they would do. At the end of the job, they showed us what had accumulated on the final pass. It looked terrible...but made me happy that it was not in our house anymore!

It went better than I had expected. Was thrilled with the work they did. Was even happier when Kevin told me that they were running a special for a free dryer vent cleaning with duct cleaning. Even though Kevin and the guys did the dryer vent cleaning and re route first, Kevin took that cost off of the duct cleaning special. I was so happy with the work of Kevin and his team I asked him to put me on a regular maintenance cleaning service list. I can't recommend The Duct Guys enough. They were a very nice surprise!

I called Kevin late Friday afternoon, and he offered to come out early the following Monday morning. He gave me a verbal estimate of "around" $90 (my final bill was $95). Kevin called Sunday to confirm our appointment and called Monday morning to let me know he'd be a few minutes late. Not only did Kevin clean my dryer vent, he also repaired the shoddy work done by the company who cleaned the vent last time. He repaired the foil covering the dryer pipe which was torn in several places and explained that the reason I had so much lint under the dryer was because of the careless way the prior company had installed the foil. Kevin was courteous, professional, responsive and fair. I will definitely use him again.

The Duct Guys cleaned the return vents and duct work as well as the supply duct work The were very "upbeat" and willing to do whatever necessary to get the job done. Kevin noticed that our dryer vent had a 90 degree angle in the run, which is not up to code. He cut out the joint and replaced it with a curved turn - for just $10 extra. As I qualified for both a "senior" discount and Angie's list discount, he gave me the greater discount.

They were punctual and worked efficiently. The only thing they didn't do was clean the floor in the downstairs dryer duct area after they had completed their job.

One duct had problems and the contractor went into our crawl space to find a hole in the duct that was reducing the efficiency of the dryer. He fixed the hole and still met the price quote, even though it was more involved and more work than he anticipated.

Called at 8pm to try and get someone out the next day before having the furnace replaced the following day... didn't expect to find anyone so late, but Kevin was more than happy to fit us in less than 24 hours later. What a nice surprise! When cleaning the dryer vent, he discovered a break in the ducting that was causing lint and moisture to go into the joist space. He patched it up thoroughly in a way to prevent the problem from reoccurring. Efficient and very friendly guys. Definitely more pricey than the places using hand-held units, but much more effective cleaning, too.

They were out the day after I talked to them on the phone. They were good. We are going to use them for the work. They had to come a long way.

Kevin was cheerful, professional and helpful throughout the process, and completed his work despite the difficult conditions. He also gave us several helpful suggestions to avoid dryer vent problems in the future (and he did this without sounding too critical or scolding-even though we probably deserved it).

It went great. I was very happy. I had thought that much of my duct work needed to be replaced. They only had to do some repair instead, and so it turned out to be less than I thought. They were very professional and did a great job.

Not ever having the dryer vent cleaned out and noticing a build up of lint, dust, and moisture in the laundry area, I called Duct Guys to have the vent cleaned out. Kevin, from Duct Guys, arrived at the agreed upon time; he was friendly and professional. After inspecting the situation in our crawl space and behind the dryer, he determined that a previous faulty installation of the dryer vent duct done by the prior owner had caused a build up of lint 5 feet long! He had all the parts with him, and he installed a new vent in a very timely manner. As he was in the crawl space, he also noticed that an air duct had been partially installed by the prior owner was venting air from our hvac into the crawl space. He fixed that problem as well, and we felt the rates he charged were very fair. We found him very trustworthy, and would definitely use his services again.

Did all the work agreed upon and more-they found some things not in the original estimate-plus were able to find and replace a furnace filter we had not been able to find, brought it over on his day off and installed it, as he happened to be in the area (he doesn't live in the area) and brought it all in UNDER the original estimate.

They did a great job. I would highly recommend them. I would use them again in the future.

He also advised us on how to avoid having the same problem in the future, which was very helpful. That will save us quite a bit of money. He not only did what I asked him to do, but he showed me a way to improve our use of the dryer duct. He went above and beyond. He was very polite and clean. He cleaned up after himself, there was never any mess. It was terrific! He made sure that we saw what he had done and that he had followed through. We asked him how often we should have him back, and he was honest which says he's in it for more than just the money. I would recommend him to anybody who asks me. I would tell them he's excellent and to be sure and put him on your list of people to get an estimate from. I would definitely use him again.
