I called and talked to the company prior purchasing the deal to speak with Kevin. He was very professional, answered all of my questions and provided good information. We were able to set up an appointment and we kept in touch once it was purchased via e-mail. Unfortunately, my daughter and son-in-law need a brand new furnace so we are going to help them replace that and that provider is going to clean the ducts at the same time.

They were very professional and corrected all faulty issues that caused back up of lint in the dryer vent tube. It all took less than 1 hour.

Kevin and his team were great to work with. We thoroughly enjoyed having them in our home. We noticed an immediate improvement in the quality of our home's air, after they cleaned our vents. I would definitely use them again!

Second time I've used these guys and both times were great. Showed up on time, did what it took to get the job done. They took time to explain what was done and how it was done and what the results were. No surprises and they did what they were hired to do.

I thought these guys were great. I was having some health issues when I scheduled the service causing my immune system to be suppressed. Knowing of my condition the vendor called to see if I wanted to reschedule since one of the contractors had a cold. I thought this was incredibly thoughtful and was reflective of the kind of concern that Duct Guys has for their customers. In terms of the work itself it was incredibly efficient and helped improve the overall air quality of our home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Duct Guys...and I should say that there were many concerns with other vendors based upon things I had heard. For some reason there seem to be a lot of unethical duct cleaning vendors and industry scams. Don't take that risk and go with Duct Guys.

They were on time, did a great job, cleaned up as they went along and if I asked a question they would explain it in "normal" understandable language. Very nice and professional. I guess I missed out on the $199 special but it was worth getting it done.

When my dryer started taking longer and longer to dry clothes and moisture started building up on the inside of the dryer door, I knew there was probably a problem with the venting. I wasn't sure who to call for help. I tried calling a couple of heating and cooling companies but they didn't seem interested in this kind of job. When I came across the name "The Duct Guys" I thought they might be the "one". Indeed they were. Kevin (the owner) returned my call within a day and gave me a rough idea of what it would cost to clean the dryer venting system and scheduled an appointment within a day or two. He and his crew of one arrived promptly and set about inspecting the ductwork and making necessary repairs before cleaning out the duct work. Kevin was professional and friendly and very informative. He answered all my questions including how to clean and maintain the venting system with my do-it-yourself cleaning tool once they had professionally cleaned it. From my 1st contact on the phone through the completion of the work, Kevin seemed very knowledgable and clearly takes pride in the quality of his work as well as the quality of his relationship with his customers. By the way, his charge for the work was what the amount he had mentioned on the phone for cleaning even though they had to replace some of the duct work and the vent cover. I was very pleased with the whole experience and my rather elderly dryer has been working like new.

The service was excellent. They took the vents off the ceiling to be able to clean my furnace and they also took the vents off the outside of the dryer to clean the dryer. They were very thorough, very quick, very clean and very pleasant. After that, they left and I did not even know that they were here. They provided the service shortly after I purchased the big deal and there was no additional charge. But I am trying to recall if these were the guys that were maybe 20 minutes late. I would use them again in the future and I have already referred them to another person.

It was wonderful. I was thrilled and I would use them again in a heartbeat. I had no idea how bad ducts can be.

the guys showed up promptly at 9:00am as arranged...they were very professional and thorough;;;they were able to clean out 1 of the returns that has a curio built in over it..that took some doing...i was real impressed with their focus and thought overall they were very good!i wouldn't hesitate to recommend them in the future

I screwed up and missed our first appt. Kevin was totally gracious about it and rescheduled for the following week. All went well - they worked hard while they were here, cleaned up after themselves and were pleasant to work with. Just what you would expect for a top rated Angie's List contractor.

Kevin arrived right on time with his helper, who was very polite. They got to work, didn't disrupt my household, were very careful not to let any of my cats escape and did a thorough job. They were finished in about three hours, Kevin gave me some tips and they left everything in great shape. I will definitely call them again when I need these services.

Excellent. They called me at work after seeing the dryer vent which had never been cleaned (12 years old) and said it didn't need cleaning and I should request a refund from Angie's List as I had purchased a special for the cleaning. I offered to have them clean the second vent instead as it didn't seem right for them to have come to the house and not get paid anything. So they cleaned both vents, neither of which really needed much. I appreciated them suggesting the refund but I felt better about paying them, and I got both vents inspected/cleaned for one reduced price

it went extremely well. they were polite and explained every step of the way. then at the end of the service showed us the amount of dirt removed from the ducts

They did an excellent job. There were no extra charges to the big deal. They just did the work as they promised. It was speedy, clean, quiet, no problems, and no issues.

The person that came was professional and conscience. Overall quality of work was good, although, he did leave some debris in the bottom of several of the heat ducts. I would use the service again for the price.

We had purchased a big deal, and they were great. They were very friendly, and they said that ducts were set up very easy, and so it didn't take them that long, but they did a thorough job, and they did a great job.

I bought the Angie's Special deal, called Kevin and set up a date to do the work. Kevin and Derrick arrived promptly at the appointed time and got right to work. They not only cleaned the ducts but 'unstuck' 3 grilles- one cold air return that had been stuck since we had the floors refinished and two vents that were just tight and stuck. Both Kevin and Derrick were professional and thorough.

He emailed me the next morning letting me know that unfortunately he did not service the Washington area, but could only do the service in Oregon. I called him back to follow up on that, and he recommended that I call Angie’s List for the refund.

I didn't know what to expect until the work was being done. We'd just purchased a home in Keizer that had been lived in by an elderly couple since being built in 1996. The couple who owned the house was fastidious in cleaning the house but we'd noticed some lint in the dryer vent outdoors during the inspection and thought that it was best to have that looked at. To our surprise, the dryer vent was completely clogs and could have easily caught fire. In addition to the dryer vent, we had them clean out the entire duct system, the furnace and after a cursory inspection, the coils to the A/C system outdoors. The A/C unit sits right next to the dryer vent and sure enough, the coils were so caked with lint and dirt its a wonder the air conditioner worked at all. There were 3 of them that performed the tasks. They worked well together, stayed focus and had a great sense of humor while working. They were neat and best of all they cleaned up after the job was completed. They are on my list to schedule for routine maintenance!

Everything went very well. The service seemed reasonably priced, and the technician seemed very knowledgeable. My dryer is now working (it was not working at all before The Duct Guys fixed the problem), and my house no longer smells like something died in it every time I turn on the a/c or fan. In addition to the duct work, the technician fixed a number of small home improvement projects he encountered as he went about the house, including a sink drain plunger and a toilet tissue roll holder.

Very professional and punctual. Also just a good guy. Would totally have this guy do the work. After discussing the project he recommended another option that will work out better for me - but, I would go with this guy for any future ducting work.
