These movers are excellent! I've had professional moves done probably 15 times over my lifetime by various companies, local and interstate and this particular move was the absolute best. The individual movers were Jason, Mike, and Cesar - give these guys raises. They were fast but they were also smart about how they handled the boxes. Usually you either get fast but careless or slow but careful, but these guys were fast and careful! I opted for the deal of having three movers instead of two which I think is better because things get done faster and fatigue has less of a chance to set in (not that these guys ever are affected by fatigue, lol) - ultimately this move cost less and went faster than the last two times that I had more moved with two movers. They even gave a home to some orphaned plants. Just great.

I made my reservation with Earl at Willamette Valley Moving to move from Oregon City, OR, to Silverdale WA. He was professional, friendly, and very helpful. I had researched several other moving companies, all "A" companies on Angie's List, and Willamette gave me a much better (more affordable) quote than the others. David, Clayton, and Brian were my movers, who showed up right on time and went to work immediately, doing a walk-through first and listening to what I wanted. These guys were fast, efficient, and careful with my belongings - and cheerful and professional the entire time. We arrived at my destination (4 hours later) within 10 minutes of each other. Then, they moved everything up to my 3rd floor apartment in record time. The estimate was about $40 higher than the original estimate, which pleased me greatly since I have a lot of stuff. I would use Willamette again in a heart beat and highly recommend them to others. (WVM - my apologies for taking so long to write my review. You guys did a great job!)

It went great! Michael, Jason and Ulysses were fabulous. They were very professional, careful with my items and fast. I have never had a move go so well and so fast. I highly recommend them.

My first contacts with Earl went very well & we settled on the time & pricing a couple of weeks ahead. On the Thursday afternoon before the Tuesday move we were informed that the road outside the house was being repaved & it could not be driven or walked on the whole day. Although I know it wasn't easy Earl was able to change the date to the Monday. This meant we were unable to do as much prep as we wanted but he didn't mind. On the day of the move the guys phoned to say they'd be slightly late (15 mins.!) I have never seen people move the way Tyler, Julio & Drew did, they were exceptional, so quick despite hourly payment, & communicative when necessary. They did a fantastic job and helped us through a very stressful day. Their work at the storage unit was also excellent, they have a great eye as well as strong muscles. There really wasn't a downside & I will certainly use this company again.

They came with two trucks and three men ready to get the work done! I would not have wanted to do this myself. Two of the storage units required an individual check of each box to determine the owner. They didn't even blink at the task! Three of the storage units were located at one facility, the other was 12 miles away. It turned out that I didn't even need the second truck. Trust me it was good to have it there anyway! The truck they filled was 26 feet long. The size of the largest U-Haul available. All of this was accomplished in six hours! This is reflective of the first move, where the two gentlemen came in and in two hours moved a house full of furniture to storage. I recommend Willamette Valley Moving with absolute confidence and assurance that I would use them again. Much thanks to the other members of Angie's List because this is where I found them!

Very Well ! Excellent job! They arrived on time. They provided a truck and padding and furniture protection. There were 3 men. Frst they surveyed the furniture and then the lead mover directed what to pack first. They moved efficiently and energetically and carefully. They wrapped a lot of the furniture in a protective plastic. They placed blankets on the truck floor so the mattresses would not get dirty. They moved the furniture down stairs and slowed to carefully moved things through doorways. ( No gouges) They had dollies and moving ramps. They protected the floors. Then at the other house they moved the furniture in efficiently and placed them in the rooms requested. .They were courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend this business.

We were very pleased with the service and attentiveness provided by Willamette Valley Moving. It was easy to schedule a day for the move, and pricing was clear and reasonable. The movers themselves were kind and professional and took a great deal of care in wrapping the furniture with clean moving pads and shrink wrap. We had a few small requests that were met, without hesitation. Daric, Victor and Chris were a great team!

Most of the incidentals had been moved. We just needed the furniture moved. The two men who arrived never stopped moving. They practically ran between putting furniture on the truck and getting the next piece. The grandfather clock was moved unscathed which is more than it was the last time it was moved (by someone else.) They were careful with everything even though they moved quickly. Paying by the hour as we were, their speed was much appreciated!

They were on-task, efficient, courteous, and respectful of both us and the furniture. I seriously could not have asked for a smoother process. There was no complaining, despite a difficult staircase, and they were just the nicest guys on the planet. They will definitely handle any of our future moves!

I would recommend anybody to use them. They were very good, courteous, fast and hardworking. They were conscientious about the time because they try to keep us within our hourly budget.

David, Clay and Brian were the best movers I have ever had....and I have moved a lot. They were gracious, professional and did not complain once about the heaviness of the furniture, the stairs or the volume of stuff. At $145 per hour for 3 very competent men and a truck and all of the shrink wrap and blankets to wrap the furniture it was a bargain! They handled the furniture with care, wrapped everything, carefully removed it from one location and put it in another. They covered the floors where they walked, placed every thing where it belongs, took it apart and put it back together again with the utmost professionalism. I am so glad that I hired this company and they sent this crew. It was a long day but the least stressful moving day I have ever had.....and I have moved about 20 times.

They were timely, efficient and went the extra mile. The two young men moving me were gentlemen. They were also fast and careful.

The owner was really a stand up guy. They were prompt, they showed up on time and they did what they said they were going to do with the price that I was quoted. It was all good. They resolve everything with us.

I joined Angie's list to find a high quality mover, to make a local move of high quality furniture, without any damage. Willamette Valley Moving totally met my expectations. I have moved some 12 times over 40 years, both nationally and internationally. When I tried to schedule WVM for this busy moving time of the year, they were booked, but they continued to check with the other customer, and got back to me with a firm schedule. Three person team arrived on time, went right to work, padded all furniture, totally wrapped furniture in shrink wrap, used hand trucks that could go down 17 steps (amazing), loaded truck, and off to new apartment. Some furniture was disassembled and reassembled. Mats were laid down to protect carpet. Furniture was positioned, and repositioned when asked, without hesitation. Team was friendly, but focused on business. Initial telephone discussion resulted in estimate of 4-5 hours, at $135 per hour, for three men and truck. Final cost was based on 3.5 hours, plus local mileage, and cost of shrink wrap used. Obviously, I am totally pleased with the move, and happy to take the time to detail WVM's good work.

Everything went wonderfully. The crew was on time and worked at a speed and efficiency that truly amazed me. I actually thought they were working too hard. We gave them a nice tip (individually, 3 people, maybe 4, I can't remember). My wife, daughter, and grand daughters were on the Lincoln City end, and said the very same things about the movers. The final fee was under the estimate, which itself was very acceptable. I knew I should have done this review at the time, or soon after, but however late, Willamette Valley Movers deserve the Kudos. The crew protected all of our possessions in a highly professional manner. We have a lot of antiques, art, glassware, etc. and nothing was even scratched. We were so impressed! We have since recommended WVM to others, and will continue to do so for our Valley friends.

These guys were great! Pleasant and professional every step on the way. i am picky when i hire somebody to do a job and they were right on. i would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to my best friend.

Roger, the owner, showed up on time to give us an estimate. He was quick and thorough. The day of the move, Jason and Mike arrived exactly on time. That was a timely start to a great move. They immediately asked for a tour of the house to see what items we wanted moved. That was tricky because the new owners were buying some of our furniture, which was to remain. After the tour they set to work, and work they did! It is always great to see professionals do their job. They were very thorough and asked about several things around the house and outside to be sure they got it all. They spotted some things I had overlooked! They were fast, efficient, careful and worked as a practiced team. Just after noon they were finished loading, then drove the eight miles to our new home and reversed the process. We were highly impressed with their skills and problem-solving abilities. Where I would have taken apart a large desk I had built, they used their finely honed geometric visualization skills to maneuver the desk through a door into a room I would have thought impossible to negotiate. Prior to leaving Jason carefully went over the contract ,rights, claims procedures etc. and presented us with the bill which was less than the original estimate! Jason and Mile's work was excellent, and it was a pleasure and relief to have a professional crew who knew their business. They well-deserved the tip they got. We discovered one small puncture tear on the back of a leather couch. We called Roger at Willamette Valley Moving and he immediately sent out Leather Pros to repair the couch. Their work was impeccable and we cannot even see where the tear had been. Again, the no-hassle, professional service we received from Willamette Valley Moving was a welcome start to life in our new home. When we move again I will call this company without hesitation.

I love these guys. They have moved me a few times, and every time has been a pleasure. I can ask them to move something time and time again to figure out where I like it and they are always willing and do it with a smile and with out complaint. ( Even after hours of moving my stuff). Another time that I had them move me I had to have my stuff packed and put into storage and again they did a amazing job. Nothing has ever been broken and they have always been very pleasant.

They showed up on time and went to work - two loader/packers as expected. We verified that they had loaded a POD 8'x16' container on many occasions. The POD loading seemed to be fine - the two loaders took exactly two hours. The addition of 15 minutes travel to/from added 30 minutes to the bill - a bit of a surprise but not really a big deal. The POD was not completely full - we knew the furniture and boxes we had positioned for loading were less than the POD could hold. Several days later I opened the POD to add the last of our belongings. When I cleared a path through the middle of the POD for access to the back of the POD I was surprised to find the unit very poorly packed. Boxes were tipped over, several heavy boxes loaded with books (and labelled as such) were stacked on top of lighter boxes and collapsing through the box top. We found heavy metal shelves with large open spaces unfilled - considerable wasted space. Overall I was very disappointed to find the actual loading was rushed in the final 30 minutes and items were not secured. No ropes were used to secure the load - or tie downs of any type. I believe the loaders realized the POD would not be 100% full and hurriedly loaded the final items without regard for damage during transit or maximizing the available space. I determined to remove most of the load and re-load the POD. After paying professional movers to do the loading it was very disappointing to have to re-accomplish the work. I will not use Willamette Valley Moving again.

The move took a bit longer than they originally thought. They told us they would send three movers and only two showed up so we had to call the company and a third mover showed up about two hours into the move.

Mover team members were not bashful about asking for tips. When tips were provided, they seemed disappointed and it was pretty obvious they were expecting more money.

They were very efficient and careful. They also did some packing of boxes (china, books, etc.). They were more than willing to move other things (not part of our original plan, but I was very glad they offered) that they had room for in the truck. They fit it all into one truckload. The price was about what we expected based on what we heard when we talked to them on the phone.
