They charged me $1000 over what they should have charged me and lied because my old one wasn't bad, it just needed a little part. Then when he put the filter in, they didn't install it correctly and it sucks dirt into the new furnace. Then they didn't give me any paperwork for the CCD so I didn't know about them. Pretty much got ripped off by the old guy, he's a ripoff and a liar. He was way over priced. He kept coming back but he lied all the time so I kept calling him constantly. He took it out and put it back in once, and, still, two weeks and he's supposed to have a filter inside the furnace and I heard from the company that makes the furnace, and they said if you want the filter kit installed, the guy putting in the furnace is supposed to install that for you, and he absolutely would not do it and said no I'm not going to do that. So it doesn't have a filter inside the furnace. He put two inside my house, but you're supposed to have one inside the furnace to keep the furnace clean. Because I made him take it out and reinstall it because it leaked everywhere, sucked dirt into it, it's supposed to be a closed unit. It has dirt inside it when they pulled it out a month later to reinstall it, and it's only a month old. I said see that's why it needs a filter inside of it. I'm not a total idiot. The guys a ripoff, that's all. The only thing wrong with the old one was an ignition switch. I had the part because I had servicing when I bought the house, and I couldn't find the part, and when I called him out, he said it was the transistors out and this is out and that's out and it will be over $1000 to fix so you might as well get a new one. He was lying and I knew he was. He put this one in and overcharged me about $1300 and it still sucks dirt into it. It's not going to last as long as my old one did because my old one was still good. When he tested everything, it's funny, because he didn't have nothing in his hands but a pair of clippers on his shorts so I thought he must be a human electric tester because he didn't use anything. I couldn't mess around because I have 2 bald cats that would freeze to death so I had to have heat. It was cold, so. I have to give him an F because it still isn't done right. He didn't do it right. Most of the time they were on time, sometimes they weren't, but sometimes they were. He was also supposed to get a permit because you have to have one anytime you do electrical work. He lied and said he had one but when I told him I wanted a copy of it he spent the whole day trying to get one because he didn't get one before he did the job. That's against the CCD rules too, because you have to get the license thru them and they put it in the paperwork in case you have a problem with it. I didn't know about it and didn't get paperwork with them. I knew it was all wrong, because I called my gas company and had them come out because my bill was too high, to make sure there were no leaks. He gave me a whole list of things wrong with the new furnace they put in. Then when the guy came over to look at it, he goes "Can I see that list". I told my mom watch he'll probably take it and steal it. And he did. I never saw him again. That's when his guys were putting it in again for the last time. he took the list of the things that were wrong with it that the gas company gave me. He is a ripoff and a liar.
Description of Work: They installed a furnace for me.
