Description of Work: Some years ago Visionscapes Northwest redesigned the landscaping at my home. I was so pleased with the work that when I purchased a second home to use as a rental, I called Pat again. The rental home had a completely unusable and downright dangerous back yard and it needed a complete overhaul. Pat saw this disaster area with her creative eye and developed a plan that not only minimized what I considered serious flaws but actually exploited them. Working respectfully within my budget, she even enthusiastically listened to my thoughts on the garden and took the several ideas I had to a level I could never have done on my own. The resulting design is, simply put, a jaw-dropping "wow". The plan she came up with is elegant, flows naturally from one area to another, and makes the yard look larger than it really is. In addition, the space needs only minimal care to stay looking serene and inviting. She cleverly repurposed the stones in a decrepit retaining wall into a new wall elsewhere on the property, saving a large expense there. Pat seems to have a special affinity for using native plants, which of course work beautifully as they are adapted to our climate, and look as if they've always been in place, giving the design an established look very quickly.

Pat Acheff is a landscape designer who produced incredible, detailed drawings, taking our likes and dislikes, which will create a work of art throughout our property. She has been involved throughout the process of locating and meeting with a mason who will be redoing our front walkway and porch, a landscaper as well as provided us with lists of other service providers we may want in the future. She has given us extra copies of her designs which will be given to independent service people who will participate in the project.
