I am inspired to choose my options!

Tyler was referred to me when I had a sudden waterfall in my basement. He was a little hard to get ahold of hence the B rating, but he was a great person to do the work. He had to repair a dry rotted joist, replace a threshold, and pour a concrete patch on my porch. When they were in the process of repairing the threshold they took my front door which some flip company had royally screwed up and custom made a new jam for it. They did nice finish work and customized some pieces for me on the spot. He also came over one evening to check on the work to see if it was leaking and took extra time to show me how to properly do some mud and tape for some other drywall I was doing. I will be using Tyler again.

The work of the tiling subcontractor was good quality overall. But the and quot;serviceand quot; of the main contractor was unsatisfactory in terms of communication and his ability to respond to our questions and requests for modification in the work. Repeated explicit emails outlining what we wanted were basically ignored. For two appointments the contractor set up himself, he simply did not show, leaving us waiting for an hour past the appointment time. When asked about what happened, he was unable to provide an adequate explanation and did not apologize for his lack of attention. Our central concern was the lack of credible communications that quickly undermined our confidence in a good outcome for the job. In fact, we terminated the project early, just to be done with the continuing hassle of trying to figure out what was going on.

He is super quick. While working on the assisted living center, 10 weeks into the project, I expected to get a phone call from him regarding a question on framing and instead got one saying he was done and if I wanted to come over and see it. I could not believe he had it already done. Like I said super quick.

I was referred to him through my plumber. He is a cool guy, good taste and not a cheap guy. I had a couple problems he had to re-do a couple things but no big deal. Project went a bit long he said it would be about 3 weeks but took a little more than a month.
