A recent home inspection revealed the presence of powder post beetles, carpenter ants, and rodents in the crawl space of our 1941 home. We called Summit Pest Management to ask if they could send somebody over to determine if there has been any recent activity in our crawl space (we assumed that the signs of invasion were pre-existing since we've never experienced a pest problem in the 8 years that we've lived at our address). Bill promptly had his secretary schedule an inspection. To my surprise Bill showed to do the inspection himself (on time I might add). Before entering the crawl space he defined the scope of his inspection and mentioned that he'd be looking for not only pest problems, but problems that would almost certainly be outside a 'normal' inspector's scope of work (loose pipes, inadequate duct-work, moisture problems, etc). I was immediately impressed. When he made his way out of the crawl space he was thorough in his evaluation and he verbally walked me through everything that he saw. Having dealt with 2 of the bigger players in pest management years ago, I assumed that Bill would fall into the category of resorting to scare tactics to drum up business. Thankfully, Bill's a good and honest man that runs a reputable business. He informed me that the rodents are long gone and any tunneling that he spotted didn't exit to the outside of the crawl space. The powder post beetles are no longer present. He couldn't confirm or deny any recent carpenter ant activity due to the time of the year, but recommended spraying in the spring and they guarantee their work for 1 year. Summit Pest Management - what a breath of fresh air! Bill even provided a written report that we could have on file. When I let him know that we were preparing to sell the home that he inspected and subsequently build a new home he proceeded to walk me through ways to prevent pest problems during our build. He also recommended a company that he'd trust that services the area that we'll be moving to. Can't say enough about Bill - would without a doubt use him again!!!!! Call him - you won't regret it.

Bill, the owner, came and gave me an estimate ($225 and $95 and $95). Bill did the original service and only charged me $100. Morgan came back two weeks later, repeated service - charged $95. Great guys!!

I found I had some mice in my home. I called another service and was given an outrages price and decided to look for another service. I found Summitt seeing that they were on Angie's List and figured they must be good. When I called they were very friendly and came out as soon as possible. Bill was wonderful, made me feel at ease and explained in detail about how he would deal with my problem and how he would solve it. He suggested that we check with my neighbor who is attached to my unit. He found that we both had mice under our house. He dealt with the problem and then followed up to make sure it worked, which it did. I was very happy with Summitt's honest, up front, caring and abilities to solve my problem.

I started out with Bill and Summit Pest (at the time was Pacific Structural) about the time the company was just starting up. We had bedbugs!! Bill took care of them with one really good spraying in the affected rooms, then returned in a couple weeks for a second go around for any eggs that hatched in the meantime. Never saw another after! Was very affordable for that service and decided to go with them on a quarterly maintenance program, where they come out and spray for spiders, and others outside, keeping them from showing up inside! Then they are available when we need them from time to time to trap ants we get in the garage and sometimes in the bathroom at no additional charge. I've been contacted by several competitors over the years to change, but NEVER will. Have referred them to my neighbors and all have been equally happy with their service, professionalism, and rates. So glad to have met them!

We were hearing noises from under our floor, in the crawl space. We called and received first visit in a day. Morgan found a dead rat and evidence of several nests of squirrels in crawl space. He suggested we bait for mice and set traps in crawl space. When we were sure all were out of crawl space, he came back and sealed up entry points. We followed up his advice and set a live trap near the entry point to remove the squirrels who wanted back in. He advised us on how to create barriers outside. Now we have to get the insulation repaired as the nesting squirrels tore down all our vapor barriers and floor insulation.

Their company is fantastic. They are here when we ask them to be here. They do everything I ask them to do and they are clean and tidy and very professional. I have nothing but positive things to say about them.

They are very punctual. They usually get out on the same day service after I give them a call. They are really good about calling me before they do the quarterly service, so that I can let the tenant know and actually talk to the tenant directly. I would highly recommend them.

I think communication could be better, and we still have some wasps nests despite the treatment. I'll probably continue to use them.

They were here twice and are prompt, do what they say they are going to do and get it done. They are cordial and professional both when they are here and when dealing with them on the phone. I will use them again in the future.

They were great from customer service on the phone to the owner helping me get the animal out of my house unhurt and no damage to my home. He also inspected the chimney opening to see how the squirrel got in, as this was not the first time and another company I had hired supposedly installed a screen over the chimney to prevent rodent access. He said there was not any such screen and quoted me a price to have a proper screen installed and guarenteed the job. The service tech was out the next day and completed the job. I've not had any such incidents since.

I have used them for years. They come out every quarter and spray for us. They sprayed at the base of the house and I never had problems with bugs, flies. They do outside and they also do inside the house when I request them. I chose them initially because they helped us with the squirrel issue. I had squirrels inside the house and they took care of that. I had a bug issue at the back of the house. The guy came out and handled that. I really liked him. I liked his professionalism. The price was okay and I haven't shopped around. I am happy the house has not had any problems. I have been using them for 5 years. I will use them again in the future.

Something was eating my car! The vent, the covering of the roll bar, etc. Week after week we tried different traps and poison to get it. Him - Simon I called him -- a RAT! I had a rat-infested Jeep. YUCK. Morgan, my service rep, always brought humor and bigger and bigger weapons to deal with him. Both in my car and in my garage. We did try a live trap, by the way. He also checked my attic (which was clean luckily). Finally, he brought a night-vision-motion-detector-camera. We got him on tape. And he also left me car. But apparently, they were under my house in the crawl space eating my insulation and vapor barrier. Morgan returned and went under there. Told me the bad news -- always with a smile, humor and some hope. KILL KILL KILL! Now I have to get under my house repaired. All of the times he came to try to rid my life of "Simon" was included in my monthly fees. ALL of them. That was a pleasant surprise. Getting in touch with the company and having them come quickly is very easy and their standard. Morgan is the Lone Ranger of our home and Jeep. Thank you.

I'm on a quarterly plan with them and so they come out every quarter. They are terrific. They are very reasonable in price. Their quality of work and their professionalism were excellent. I've been very pleased with them. I've referred them on to several people that I know that have had issues. I will definitely use their services again in the future.

They were prompt and willing to tell us what we could do to save money. They're thorough and guarantee their work. Since they've came out we haven't had any pest problems.

I had another service provider who did some work and pulled out my dishwasher and in the process he seen some mouse droppings. The person that came out was Morgan and he was great. He was very knowledgeable about the situation and he gave me just enough information in an area where I didn't want too much information. He was very thorough and went under the house and all around and gave me some different suggestions that we could do. He actually found some issues like water under our car space which was not necessarily related to what he was there for but he gave us some points on what we could do about that. He followed up a couple of weeks later and he did actually put him on a service contract where they would come out quarterly for bugs and pests. I have barely shopped around for the price but I think it was worth the comfort. Its hard to measure the quality right now but I think it was good so far. One of the things that happened was that my dishwasher stopped working after he was here. I thought he had done something which was why it was not working. I called them up and the lady paged him and informed him about the issue I was having. He called me up though he had other plans and it was late evening and told me that it couldn't be because of anything that he had did. It was a problem with the person who had come to fix the dishwasher. He was ready to come out though it was not his problem and he had other plans just to see what he could do. He was very concerned about that. He wanted to stop by but I told him it was not his fault.

We were very pleased and impressed with Summit. They were honest and professional. They didn't give us a line about needing to have them out multiple times to resolve the ant problem - they just resolved it. We would highly recommend this company.

They were good. The price seemed reasonable, but I didn't have anything to compare it to.

Morgan was conscientious throughout the process. He was very sensitive to our needs -- we're apprehensive regarding the use of pesticides, but the situation called for it, and Pacific was the right company for the job. The exterior of our house was going to be painted, and the painters, noticing the vast number of nests, were going to spray the nests themselves prior to power washing the exterior. Since there was going to be the spraying of pesticides regardless of who did it, we wanted to make sure it was done by a professional, one who would only spray the minimal, necessary amount with precision. Morgan from Pacific did just that.

Bill and Morgan were very helpful and explained the life cycles of the various pests that could invade our home. I was impressed enough to set up quarterly pest control using their service. Outstanding work.

We had some confusion about the work to be done, but they were awesome in fixing it. We also added a quarterly contract. They accomplished everything they needed to accomplish. They made some mistakes, but when we contacted them, the were very careful in finding out what went wrong and fixing it. We had a horrible ant infestation, and it took longer than expected, but they were wonderful through the whole process.

It was very good. He is very courteous, on time, very patient, very thorough, and very available. It has been great. He gave me an estimate and the price is reasonable for what he did.

They found the problem which was where I had thought it was to begin with, but he had disagreed. He wanted to charge quite a bit for the removal and said he would come back but never did.

Bill came over time as promised. Inspected area and entire property for possible pest entrance. He was unable to do job but told me how job could be done, gave me name and numbers of 2 other people that could help me with my problem. This is the first time someone has come to my house and done an inspection and recommended treatment and NOT charged me. I will definitely use them again if needed!

Bill is absolutely wonderful - a pest expert! Since hiring him two years ago he is the first resource I turn to when there is a pest issue. If you hire him, you'll see that customer services is his priority and he'll never try to charge you for unnecessary services. I just discovered Angies List, otherwise I would have posted earlier because I'm so impressed with this company. If you have pests of any kind, you need to call Pacific Structural.
