The experience was pretty much what I'm looking for from a large retailer. I knew what I wanted, the salesman was helpful, knowledgeable and attentive, but not intrusive and didn't try to upsell me or talk me into something else. I felt respected as a customer and not just a source of cash. My freezer works great so far, so I haven't had any need to return it or get repairs, so I don't know what level of service they provide once you'll already purchased your appliance.

The washer started making grinding noises 11 months after purchase. Called service out, they could not find the problem. Washer stopped working, (seized up) after another month. Service came out again (took a week to get them out), & said the pump went out, said he would order the part that night. That was a week ago, still no call on part. We have called and are on the list for Friday (they said), still no call to schedule service (its Thursday). It has been three weeks without a washer. This is the worst service I have ever had with a company. Won't buy form them again! Buyer beware!
Description of Work: I bought a new Maytag Neptune washer and dryer.

DIDN'T WORK, AND HAD TO GET REPLACED. IT WAS REPLACED GRUDGINGLY, AND ONLY AFTER THE PRODUCT MANAGER AT STANDARD GAVE HIS OKAY.
