Phil was very nice, did not find anything to fix or try to sell us a service contract. He was friendly and professional. I recommended him to my neighbors.

They were nice. I got what I paid for. They were great. They went above and beyond. They were very nice people. They came in and did the service. The work they did was fine. My interaction with them was fine. They were detailed in what they did.

They gave us a pretty honest appraisal of the furnace. They just seemed honest.

He came on time. He was polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. I would use them again.

Shawn is a very professional competent service technician who has come annually for 2 years since we had Pioneer Gas Furnace install these 2 pieces of healing/cooling equipment. All of the employees at the company including Bud, Mike, Shawn and Molly in the office are fantastic. They are fair and gave us the best value after having 3 different companies bid on our need for a new furnace. We not only purchased the furnace, but added the heat pump and HRV throughout the house. We would highly recommend them for your heating/cooling needs in your home.

He came and said I needed a new Control box and it would be $579.00. I already paid $69.00 for the tune-up coupon. He said he would give me credit for the $69.00 off the price. The service was good and prompt and friendly. However the pricing is confusing. He replaced the controller, I asked about the tune-up... He said he would have to charge me another $69.00 if I wanted to tune up? Confusing the service coupon I purchased. Additionally I find the controller I could buy at $116.00 retail!! I was charged $569.00!! That's some BIG MARK UP! Its all fixed and I am happy for my tenants. However in the future I will get bids and Compare.

We bought the $49 furnace diagnostic coupon. Our furnace had water in the primary inducer, drain hoses were broken, secondary heat exchanger possibly not working. Estimate to replace parts was over $700 and did not guarantee a working furnace. We decided to replace the furnace as it was over 20 years old. We got 3 estimates and all were in within $300 of each other. We chose Pioneer gas based on Angie's list reviews and comfort with the technician that gave us the estimate. | Work was done in one day, including the removal of old furnace and cleanup around the area of installation. Passed inspection by city 4 days later. Installed a Carrier 96% efficiency one stage furnace. Tech explained to us that a multi stage furnace wasn't worth the cost in our 1931 built home. Pioneer applied a nw natural gas instant rebate and sent us the filled out paperwork to apply for the Oregon clean energy rebate. This was very much appreciated. Included was free first year maintainance and 10 year free parts and repairs if pioneer maintains the furnace annually. This was the smoothest transaction from start to finish and I can't recommend them enough.

They were pretty quick and thorough.

When the rep first came to the house, he found a way to have the central AC installed that wouldn't damage to very recently painted house. On the scheduled day of installation they arrived right on time and cgot started. They were fast, and obviously knew what they were doing. The work area, and accesss to it through the house, was covered with protective tarps, and afterwards all was cleaned up. Because opur house is about 100 years old, they also took care of adding to the circuit board (to ensure adequate electrical power). In my opinion they went beyonod the call of duty, in that they pruned back some shrubs where the outdoor unit was to be placed. I was on crutches and could't prep the area myself.

Our furnace died and we obviously needed a new one. I had called a few places that were listed on Angies list and they ranged from 4200 to 5500 for a 95% efficient plus furnace. My boss said she had just gotten a new one from Pioneer and highly recommended them. We gave them a call, they came out, and were punctual, personable and answered every question my wife had. Turned out, they charged only $3200 for a 96% efficient Carrier unit. A similar efficient Bryant or Lennox unit from the other companies was $4500 and $5500. Not only did they provide an amazing price, but they also moved the location by about 4 feet. The other companies wanted between 400 and 1000 to move the unit and change the ducting. Pioneer charged nothing. We were very, very happy with them. Very professional, very fast, no pressure and quality work. we love our two stage, variable fan furnace. We bought the extra two step filter to increase efficiency and lower maintenance cost of the unit. its quiet and lowered our bills. we love it. and I really appreciate Pioneer for not pressuring us and installing a great product.

They provided advice and information about our furnace that I had not received from other provider. Very helpful. Used an Angie's List special from company to reduce price. Will call this company again next year.

The tune up of the air conditioner seem to be putting a chemical cleanser on it and spraying it down with water. He checked for freon levels that seemed to be okay. $210 Replaced a part that he said may not last through the year.

PIoneer was timely and professional. Their final costs were in line with the pre-job estimate.

I had a fantastic experience working with pioneer gas. Bud was very courteous, responsive to my questions and inquiries, and best of all did not push any one product on me. I had 2 competitive bids between Pionneer and another company. Bud was able to match the offer i got on the same level of efficiency, but more importantly he told me he wanted me to be happy with whatever decision i made. he did not push me to choose Pionner or pressure me into making a decision, but he gave me time and told me he wanted me to make the best decision for my family. That was the clincher for me. i fel that he was not just selling me a furnace, but he was offering me a service and helping me figure out what we wanted. i got a great deal on a 98% modulating furnace and it was very competitive with several of the other bids. The installation was excellant. the two technicians were skilled, did quality work, kept me updated on status of the project as it went along, and completed the install on time. They were on time, did great work and were very friendly. They answered all of my questions and all of my 5 yo son's questions to0. They installed the vent pipe through the chimney on a day that was dumping buckets of rain, and did quality work that i can trust and felt was not rushed even though they were soaking wet. The estimate and installation were justs as planned and as explained to me. they definitely paid attention to details and followed through on all details as discussed in estimate (like adding an additional "t" on gas line and placing furnace up off ground a little on custom made stand). i am very happy with my decision on which furnace i purchased and on using pioneer gas to install. i would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their furnace.

I am extremely pleased with the price of the bid and the work that was done. I liked everything. I disliked nothing. The bid was excellent. The gentleman who provided the bid was very personable and knowledgeable. He has been around a long time and was willing to work with us in any way he could. The two men who came and did the work were extremely professional. We were more than pleased with the job they did. They were fantastic. They were significantly less than the other bids we received. I would use them again without any hesitation.

We contacted 3 different companies and Pioneer is the gold standard in customer service. They have a friendly voice that answers the phone, a real person!!! And Bud Brock called us back, and we made an appointment and HE showed up. He asked us a lot of questions, surveyed our property and home and said he would send an estimate, which he did. He followed up asking if we had any questions. Bud KNOWS the business from the inside out. He even discussed with us the best thermostat for us. ( Other companies sent out "plug and play" bean counters who really knew less about differences in high efficiency furnaces than we did.) They came on schedule, on time, and on the money.

It was a good experience. They were on time. They did the work for what they said it was going to be. I guess they fixed it correctly; I have not had another problem since. They were punctual and they were clean. Price wise I think they were very fair but not cheap. Professionally they did great. They represented themselves well. They told me what was needed. Then when it was time to part with I threw my arm and they were surprised. I would certainly use them in the future.

I was very pleased with the work they did. I received three different estimates and Pioneer Gas Furnace offered the lowest price and they even offered a ten year warranty. They were in and out and they did the job right and it looks very good. I am very happy about the entire project. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Products and actual service performed by technician were good. My reason for severing my relationship with this company is poor attention to service contracts. I signed up for yearly maintenance contracts on furnace and AC. The first couple years there were reminders; later, no reminder. A call to the company in November finds that the contract is expired, so I am asked to re-up, without every receiving furnace/AC inspection. I complain and after being given the excuse that their office staff changed and "files were misplaced" company agrees to honor the contract and provide the inspection, provided I sign up for the next year. Same thing happens again, same excuse, because my furnace is getting on in years and I don't have time to explore other companies, I fall for it again. Third time's the charm. No more. The reason I am signing up for Angie's list is to find a new heating/AC contractor. I was happy with the products and technicians, and they had kept our furnace in good stead, but the customer was neglected once the service contract was purchased.

I have had this service contract with Pioneer for more than 3 years. It always goes well! Their technicians know their business and get the job done quickly. The funace was cleaned and tested ready for another year. The air conditioning unit had lost its refrigerant charge and was a bit noisy. The technician quickly recharged the system and tuned up the moving parts. The test on this 80 degree day quickly brought the house to the desired temperature.

The person who came to do the estimate was knowledgeable and professional. The work was done when they said it would be done. They re-routed some of the ducts coming from the furnace and made the air flow more efficient. The installers worked clean. There was no mess even though they had to come back the next day to finish up some things. Everything was clean at the end of the first day, and again when the job was actually finished. The furnace works beautifully, is quieter than my old one, and the air seems cleaner. At the time of the estimate we talked about installing solar fans on my roof. I changed my mind about it, then agreed to have wind turbine air vents installed, and when I changed my mind about that -- on the day of the installation -- they were completely nice about it. My reasons for changing my mind had nothing to do with them, but with eventually deciding I needed more time to gather more information before deciding what to do to take some of the heat off my attic in summer. Great company.

We have 2 furnaces. They came and checked them out. One of the furnaces is brand new. We always use them. They put in both our furnaces. They always seem to do a good job. They have always backed up everything they have done for us.

I had one of their estimators come to my house to prepare a quote for a Rheem furnace, heat pump and tankless water heater. My initial interaction with the gentleman was very positive. He looked over the installation requirements and seemed to ask all the righrt questions. He indicated that he would physically drop off a written estimate in a few days (apparently my house was near his route home). One week passed and nothing provided so I called and reminded him that I was waiting. Another week passed and still nothing so I called and talked to someone in the front office and told them that I was still waiting. They assured me I would have a call back from the estimator. Geez, to my surprise no call back. I can probably surmise that the estimator is also a tech and that he was just to busy to follow through. In hindsight I guess I'm lucky. Imagine what kind of follow on service you could expect for warranty or service call items if they won't even make an attempt to sell me something I'm willing to buy. Pathetic!

Excellent, fast, and very professional service. I will tell everyone I know how good they are.

They came out to give an estimate. We were under the misconception that they were going to fix it when they came out. He came out and gave us a verbal bid, but we needed a written estimate. He said he'd send it but we never ended up getting it. We needed a written because the builder had done it incorrectly and needed that fixed. We called to see the status of that and they said they called and gave my husband a verbal bid. I explained that we needed a written estimate and she suggested we go with another provider.
