+ -1 moreRESPONSE TIME WAS OUTSTANDING. ONLY HITCH WAS THE HANDYMAN FORGOT TO TELL ME THAT NEIL KELLY ADDS A 30% SURCHARGE TO ANY MATERIALS THEY PROVIDE. HE CALLED BACK AFTER I'D HIRED HIM AND APOLOGIZED WHILE TELLING OF THIS SURCHARGE. THE WORK WAS DONE EFFICIENTLY AND WELL. HE WAS BUSINESSLIKE AND WORKED NEATLY, QUIETLY AND QUICKLY.
Description of Work: THE NEIL KELLY HANDYMAN INSTALLED BASE MOLDING IN OUR BASEMENT AND PROVIDED A PAPER PROTECTIVE SHEET TO PROTECT THE CARPET DURING SUBSEQUENT PAINTING. HE ADJUSTED A BATHROOM SINK THAT HAD BEEN IMPROPERLY INSTALLED BY ANOTHER CONTRACTOR. HE CLIPPED THE UNDERMOUNTED SINK IN PLACE AND RE-GROUTED. ALSO, HE FIXED THE SINK FAUCET.

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE GREAT. THEY CUSTOM BUILT THE FRAMING FOR THE SKYLIGHT INTO OUR CEDAR CEILING, AND DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB. THE GUY MATCHED ALL OF THE CEDAR AND IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS INSTALLED WITH THE HOUSE BY THE BUILDER. IT IS FINISHED CABINETRY WORKED AND IT LOOKS GREAT! IT ONLY TOOK HIM ABOUT A DAY.

IT TOOK LONGER TO SCHEDULE IN THE FIRST PLACE THAN I'D HOPED, AND HE HAD TO RESCHEDULE ONCE, BUT THE SECOND TIME, HE CAME EARLY AND GOT EVERYTHING DONE ON TIME. IT SEEMS THAT THIS COMPANY HAS A GOOD VARIETY OF PEOPLE SO THEY CAN HANDLE ALL KINDS OF NEEDS.
Description of Work: THE FEET ON MY CLAWFOOT TUB HAD SLIPPED OUT OF THEIR BRACKETS AND THE TUB WAS SITTING AT A TILT. I HAD A VERY HARD TIME FINDING SOMEONE TO DO THIS REPAIR. MY SEARCH IS WHAT LED ME TO ANGIE'S LIST FOR THE FIRST TIME. DUE TO A BENT WATER SUPPLY LINE, IT WAS A POTENTIALLY COMPLICATED JOB. WE HAVEN'T USED THE TUB YET BECAUSE THERE IS OTHER WORK TO FINISH, BUT THE FEET ARE HOLDING SO FAR!

I'VE HEARD THAT NEIL KELLY IS A BIT MORE EXPENSIVE, BUT IN MY OPINION, THEY ARE VERY CONSCIENTIOUS OF BUDGET AND ARE VERY GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO. I'D HIRE THEM AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT!
Description of Work: IDENTIFIED & FIXED LEAKY WINDOW. REMOVED BLINDS, DEMOLISHED DRYWALL, PULLED EXTERNAL CAULK & RECAULKED INSIDE. THEY ARE COMING BACK IN A WEEK TO REPLACE DRYWALL. THE WEEK GAP WILL GIVE US TIME TO ENSURE THE LEAK IS FIXED.

Description of Work: THE SIDING BENEATH THE BAY WINDOW WAS SAGGING ENOUGH THAT RAIN COULD GET IN. HE PRIED THE SIDING LOOSE AND DETERMINED THAT THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF WATER DAMAGE OR ROT. HE RENAILED THE LOOSE SIDING. HE ALSO LOOKED AT WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A DROOPING CORNER OF THE ROOF, WHICH WOULD BENEFIT FROM ADDING A SUPPORT UNDER IT. HE DETERMINED THAT THE DESIGN OF THE ROOF DID NOT REQUIRE A SUPPORT. THAT THE ROOF WAS FUNCTIONING WELL ACCORDING TO THE ROOF DESIGN. MY CONCERN ENDED THERE.
