Miracle Method of Greater Portland

My plumber wasn't able to get a new kitchen sink for me without some demolition of the space, and he suggested Miracle Method. I had heard and read about this method for years, but never had anyone who had used it. My plumber had had a successful experience, so I decided to call. Dan came out and went over the entire process, measured for the shower doors, and after asking questions and getting my answers, I was ready to purchase. Dewey arrived to start the process the next week, at my convenience. He proceeded to put plastic everywhere, and tape off surrounding formica and tile, etc, to keep the medium from spreading out of the correct area. That actually took the longest time, so when it was time to spray the tub, after he had also removed the old surround and doors, that process went swiftly, and I was impressed by the lack of odor due mainly to fans that he placed in the window during the spraying. And this in in January. The sink was next after he made a little room of plastic around it to avoid any over spray and tape off the counter and faucets, etc. I was impressed because Dewey was so thoughtful to not cut off my use of the refrigerator, which was very close to the sink. The next morning, he arrived and finished up the process by tearing down all the plastic and cleaning up both areas. Then Dewey installed the surround and shower doors, and all would be ready to use by the next day. He reminded me what was the best cleaner to use, and to never use bleach or grit on them. He put a good non-slip surface in the tub, as bathmats are not recommended due to the suction cups. Dewey told me to check out everything and let them know if I had a problem. The next day, I noticed a slight problem with the shower door handles, and emailed Miracle Method office. Tia is so efficient, and always gets back to me almost immediately. She scheduled a technician to come over the next week. Robert arrived on Monday, and fixed the handle problem, and I was happy. He is also knowledgeable, and capable of fixing the problem swiftly. Time will tell, but now I am a happy camper and enjoying the beautiful white sink and tub.

the technician was both professional and courteous; he did a great job. he arrived at the time stated, and the job took as long as I was told it would. everyone in the house is pleased with our "new" bathroom. I would recommend them, and I would hire them again.

At first, the work seemed nicely done, but then the cracks started to come back. We called the company and scheduled for repairs. After several repairs, some craks have re-appeared. We have to call them again and hopefully, this time the cracks get fixed for good.

What a pleasure it was to work with Robert the technician from Miracle Method. He was supposed to arrive on a Monday but ended up being sick. The office called 15 minutes before he was to be at our home to say he wasn't coming so we were a little unhappy about how this whole thing was going to go. My husband took time off of work to be home while the work was being done and he was not happy about wasting a day. Robert arrived on Tuesday and more than made up for the late start. He was so professional and spent time explaining what he was doing, how he was doing it and what the outcome would be. He explained about the smell associated with the process and made sure to set up a vent to help with the smell from an interior bathroom with no outside window. Robert was working in our home the week of 100 degree temperatures and we do not have air conditioning in our home! He was suited up part of the time and must have been very hot. Robert is quite the artist and very precise in his work. He taped areas to protect so we did not get overspray where it didn't belong. On the third morning, he sprayed the clear coats to seal in the new colors and then returned at 6 pm to finish untaping the protective sheeting. He cleaned up after himself every day and never left a mess. We couldn't be more pleased with the result. You would never know that our old ugly yellow tile is what is underneath our beautiful new bathtub surround. The bathroom counters turned out beautifully as well and all our friends comment on how nice it looks and how much it updates the look of our home. We would not hesitate to use Miracle Method again.

To be honest, I was a little skeptical of having someone "paint" over the existing tiles in the large master bedroom shower in my "high-end" home. After doing some research and visiting their showroom I was convinced that Miracle Method was the right choice for me at a great cost savings from replacing. I was able to get a bid on the phone which was followed up with a letter confirming the bid along with an informational brochure. I was able to schedule the project for the exact time and day of my choosing. I had something major come up the evening prior to their arrival to do the job. I called first thing in the morning (about one hour to the scheduled appointment) in hopes to re-schedule. Rather than to express frustration with me, they were willing to re-schedule my job for later that same week! Robert came out and performed all of the work from prep to finish. He was great with communicating with me throughout the process and I am thrilled with the workmanship and quality of this product. I will definitely recommend Miracle Method to anyone interested in doing some updating while saving a load of cash on the project.

I had anticipated needing the bathroom sink refinished but was advised it only needed a cleaning to remove mineral deposits. I appreciated the honesty as the cleaning wasless expensive than the refinishing. The utility sink turned out beautiful, just like new! Technicians were professional on all levels.

I chose Miracle Method because they did it over two days rather than just one like most other days. The second day they polished/etc to make it flawless. It also sounded like they have some patented process that is perhaps more durable, but I don't know if that's just hype. The lady on the phone also gave some nice detailed information and instructions about maintenance when I called to compare companies. Since they had good ratings here, I went ahead and scheduled an appointment. The fellow who came was very friendly--a few tattoos and piercings that might freak some people out, but he was very professional. I had to leave after he got started, and I gave him instructions on how to lock up and he followed them perfectly. My biggest gripe is when I came home. I came home to a house that STUNK like drying paint. Awful awful smell, I was afraid my dog was going to be dead. Had I been home, I would have opened all the windows while he was working and the smell wouldn't have built up. I wish he had left the bathroom fan on. The bathroom window was open, but the fan would have helped. Which brings me to my next gripe. He took off the bathroom door and put up lots of plastic and a drop sheet over the door. I'm glad he put up the plastic to protect the rest of the bathroom from all the dust he made the first day, but I wish he'd taken it down before he left because I don't think he needed it the second day (maybe I'm wrong), but I had to rip through it to get to the toilet and all our stuff since we only have one bathroom. I wasn't informed we wouldn't have access to the bathroom that night. The drop cloth over the door did not contain the smell well, and the house smelled awful through the next day. The tub looks amazing though. I do wish refinished tubs were as durable as new tubs--I can't even use bleach or my suction cup bath mat on it--but that's a general statement about all refinished tubs. Replacing the tub was just more than we were willing to do though. I would definitely choose Miracle Method over the others again, and I definitely think the work was worth the $450 I paid for it.

I wanted contacted very quickly after my initial inquiry. All my questions were answered and details were clearly explained. The work was done on time and everyone behaved in a very professional manner. I am very pleased with the finished product and would recommend this service to others.

Miracle Method did a great job refinishing our tub and surround, both of which were in dire need of refinishing. The job was supposed to take 2 days, but Robert (who did the job for us) hit a snag on Friday, so he ended up working Friday, Saturday, and finishing on Sunday. I'm fairly sure he was supposed to be off on Sunday, but he did it all with a smile and with excellent customer service. He was very friendly, extremely professional, punctual, courteous, and sweet to my 2-year old daughter! Best of all, the tub and surround both look beautiful! The company even honored an estimate they gave us over a year ago, even though their prices had raised since then. All in all, we had a great experience, we love the work, and it was money well spent. We'd highly recommend them, and we may even have them refinish our counter tops!

First of all - need to say that this company has an INCREDIBLE focus on customer satisfaction. I had a rough experience, but that was partly due to my asking them for an out-of-the-box application of their product - which he warned me about that it might not turn out. That said, they still guaranteed my satisfaction. My final product was fairly disappointing. The rolling method did not work that well - as he was worried about. However, some of that was due to the application method by the technician. There were several times when we asked them to come out and redo the work, as there were certain parts of the floor that had obviously more (or less) of the coating - making it all look very uneven. We just couldn't understand why he wouldn't scan his work for these types of flaws before leaving. Also a bit of a warning - this stuff smells REALLY bad. And you will need to plan to be out of the house for several days while you are letting it dry. It's very evasive - even to the point where our bed sheets smelled of the stuff. Overall, they are EXTREMELY focused on customer satisfaction - and were going to make it right, no matter what. Even if I had asked for them to come back 20 times, I got the impression that they would do so. The owner even came out twice to inspect and agree that certain spots needed to be redone after I complained. He had a great attitude, and again, was DEAD SET on making it right. They probably lost money on our deal, for the technician came about about 5 times total?? (don't exactly remember). Bottom line - I asked them to try an application that wasn't what they normally do. And for that, I take responsibility for it not turning out exactly like we wanted. If we need to simply refinish tile that already existed (which is their specialty) - then I'd ABSOLUTELY use them. As their commitment to customer satisfaction is amazing.

Everything went fine. They said it would be a 3 day job but they got it done in 2 days. They masked off the complete bathroom and they did the work. They called up and said they would be here around 9:00 a.m. and they got here at exactly 9:11 both days. They were very neat and clean. The work was done just beautifully. The price was very economical. They also offer a 5 year guarantee.

They showed up when they said they would, were very conscientious about minimal impact to my home. The finish looks great, and the optional no-slip finish on the bottom of the tub is subtle but works.

Our experience was very positive. The tools that Leonard used were all attached to a ventilation system that took all the dust and debris directly outside. The tools used were obviously noisy, and most of the sealants/sprayed surfaces had a definite odor. Both doorways to our kitchen were covered and fans were used to help dissipate the odor. Once the countertops were completed, they are supposed to sit undisturbed for 24 hours and then we were advised to wait a few days before putting our heavy appliances back onto the counters ie microwave, mixer etc. For us, this was not an issue, as we are going to be painting the kitchen before we put everything back into it anyway! Our new counters have a 5 year warranty, and we were told that we care for them just as we would any countertop...don't cut on the surface, don't put pans directly from the stove directly on the countertop, clean with soap and water. In other words, use common sense. Being that the job was just finished, I can't comment on the durability of the counter just yet, but from everything I have read it should be excellent. We were so pleased with the work done, we are having Miracle Method come out and give us an estimate on refinishing our kitchen cabinets!!!

Overall it was absolutely up to my expectationsand above them as well. They are extremely punctual and professional, cleaning up after the job went well too.

The work turned out very well and as we expected. They finished off the work and did a proper finish. I had one done before in another house and it was not done to the same standard. It was by a different company in a different city. This was done really well.

They fit us into the schedule and they were lovely. They came right out and picked it up then had it back in a couple of days. They did a beautiful job. The detail finish work around the stopper had to be chiseled down in order for the stopper to work.

My only concern was that the young man that showed up didn't look very professional. He had very badly decayed teeth, and his uniform was not clean. When I saw that, I wondered why he didn't have dental care, and if the company providid it to their employees, or not.
