Did a great job for me, installed a new vapor barrier, they showed up on time and I feel that the pricing was reasonable.

He did a good job. I think he saved me $3000 or $4000 at least. I didn't need what I thought I needed. He didn't try to sell me anything and he actually saved me several thousand dollars. I thought I needed a basement drainage system and he showed me how to take care of my problem in the exterior of my house. He told me what I probably really needed. It was a good service and he was a good communicator. He was a nice person. He got back to me. So far, so good. My basement is dry. He answered a bunch of questions that we had and took care of some extra stuff, too.

Simply great. I spoke with three different waterproofing specialists and Masonry offered what seemed like the most comprehensive solution to our problem of water in our basement. Knowing there is never one perfect solution to such a problem, Byron was open to suggestions and concerns about where the water was coming from throughout the process. His team was informative and pleasant; it felt like everyone genuinely wanted to solve the problem of how to get water out of our basement, not just sell us a packaged solution like some of the other waterproofing companies. They cleaned up perfectly and will be coming back to inspect the job to make sure all is well in a few days. They are just driving away from my house now and I am thrilled with their work.

I had an intermittent water leak occurring from under an internal wall in my basement and could not figure where it was coming from. After much more expensive estimates by 2 other potential service providers, and before any work was even performed by Byron and his team, the service was already stellar...case in point: Byron came out to my property and advised testing each of the downspouts by having me run a garden hose through each of them. Two of the downspout tests proved zero water emission/leak after a few hours of running the water. The third one, however, had the problem duplicated within 5 minutes of starting the water through the downspout. Come service day, his team came out and provided the service described. Solid downspout repair, and the pop-up emitters were installed with surgical precision, from what I could tell. The grounds of my property where the work was performed were left looking EXACTLY the way they were before the service was provided. It was as if the ground cover was basically folded back (like a flap), the work was installed, and then it was replaced, disturbance-free. Come to think of it, I hadn't even noticed the front yard pop-up emitter until two weeks or so after completion. Simply amazing. Since then, I've had zero leak issues in the affected area, and this company's fees were considerably less than its competition. Their efforts and diligence are a testament to top-notch quality, and I certainly would call on them again as needed, going forward. I highly recommend their service, as they are ethical and seem to approach the labor with the proper due diligence & class. -Patrick

When they made the bid some of the concrete on the top chimney had deteriorated and they did not charge me extra. They took it out and redid it and did not charge me. I appreciated someone both coming on the 4th of July and ready to work. I like that in a company that they wanted to make money. They were good workers and were there for several hours with no problems. If I needed anything else I would hire them again.

I had some questions about basement water infiltration into concrete and contacted Marc based on reviews here. I called Marc and he spent 5-10 minutes with me on the phone, explaining options . He indicated that we do not have a situation that's dangerous to occupants, or hazardous to the house, but that if wanted at some time, he could perform excavation work as needed. I told him that he would definitely be somemone I would call, based on his professionalism and the excellent Angie's List reviews.

Project went well. Project was managed by Byron, who was very easy to work with in terms of communication and punctuality. His team was really friendly and hard-working as well. The work was done as stated and at cost. I have had no leaks in the basement since the foundation was repaired. Yeah!

Excellent job! I could barely even tell that they had dug a big trench through my yard that day- took great care in placing the dirt/did to the side and put it all back in place. Took care in the house to not track mud. Nice guys too.

It went great. Marc and all of his employees were incredibly fair, nice, honest, and non-alarmists. They did not try to talk us into doing more than was necessary and saved us a lot of money. The work was done incredibly fast and well. They cleaned up after themselves better than any other contractor we have had. We would use them in the future for sure!

When I discovered mold and water damage in my garage and basement, I first contacted a specialist to remove the damaged sheetrock and carpet; then I had to find someone to mitigate the damage. I had no idea what was causing the water damage. The first two firms I called were going to charge me nearly $10,000 for a package of remedies, including water guards, special basement walls, a sump pump and de-humidifier. A third contractor recommended, for $7500, that he dig a trench outside the house and waterproof the foundation. Given the conflicting information, I decided to contact one more waterproofing specialist. That was when I contacted Byron at Masonry Waterproofing. Byron was the only person who took the time and effort to figure out the source of the problem--a broken pipe from a faucet outside the house which was rarely used, and which is why it had gone undetected. He came to my house 3 times (and sent another worker once) to figure it out, and did not try to sell me anything. In fact, he didn't get a single dime for his efforts since a plumber was needed--the plumbing bill was $468.22. The only thing Byron asked was that I post a review of my experiences on Angie's List, so I signed up just to do that. I am extremely grateful to Byron--not only that he saved me literally thousands of dollars--but that he was conscientious and thorough in his investigation. Marc was great! He was responsive on my initial service call, was able to visit and give me an estimate within a day and scheduled the service promptly. His punctuality was great, customer service and ability to explain the issues clearly were helpful and gave me the ability to make an informed decision. All in all Marc went above and beyond for me. I would highly recommend!

Owner and workmen were very professional. Regarding schedule, they worked with us, and began work promptly. Excavated, cleaned, prepped, and repaired cracks. Sponge finished for texture. We are very pleased with their work.

It took 7 hours for them to complete the work. They did a bit more work than what we originally discussed. They built an extra vent wall blockade at no extra charge. They were great and I would recommend them to others. They went above and beyond in their work.

I have a concrete patio that had to be broken up in order to reach the foundation where the there was a crack. It was soon discovered that there were two slabs of concrete, a double pour. This was unforseen so my bill was more than expected--$600 more--but it needed to be done. The earth was also dug up and a sealant applied. Mind you, it also poured rain during this time! The men kept the area dry and very tidy, cleaning up after themselves every day. Byron, Mike, and Mark (business owners, I believe) were all very courteous, prompt with communication, and made me feel like a valued customer. The crew that worked the job were also all very punctual, hard working, good guys. I wish I learned their names.

We have a 1939 house that was recently remodeled, which included adding windows in the basement. We discovered, after the heavy rains, that the window well didn't have proper drainage. They met with our contractor and pointed out the deficiencies in the window well and indicated that was the likely source of the water. They also spent time discussing the various fixes that might need to be applied if the water was entering somewhere else (e.g. through the wall or at the base of the wall. When our contractor removed the sheet rock it was clear the problem was the poor draining window well. The contractor is accepting responsibility and taking corrective action. As a result we don't need to hire Masonry Waterproofing & Drainage Masters. We greatly appreciate their help, professionalism and speedy reply.

Fixed a hole in my foundation made by a plumber who thought he needed a 5 inch hole to fit a 2 inch pipe, so needless to say every time it rain water came through the hole into my basement. Marc came out, filled the hole correctly and then stablilized the pipe and waterproofed everything. I am thrilled with the work he did and one of the best contractors I have ever dealt with. Thanks Marc. I will totally be calling this company again to fix my chimney next.

Everything went smoothly. Digging is hard work and they were efficient. I had a couple other bids and they were competitively priced. They also guarantee their work for 20 years which was important to me since I had moisture issues inside the house, hence the work that was performed.

I could not be more pleased as the men were professional, were attentive to my home, and Marc was easily available for questions, and more importantly for me, fit the work done into my schedule for meeting the deadlines for closing the house.

I would like to give a very positive review of the work performed today on the chimneys at my residence. The flashing had curled up and away from the roof and some of the bricks on the top of the chimney were loose. Mike and Christopher were a great team. Both very professional, courteous, and friendly. And oviously knew what they were doing. They accomplished the job in quick order, fixing the bricks, and recovering the chimney cap, and also making sure it was protected since the weather had changed and the rain had started, threatening their work. So it was covered, protecting the newly placed wet mortar. Very positive experience. I am going to use this company in the future for sweeping the chimneys before the fall.
