Los Angeles Framing

LA Framers did a fantastic job on our home. Many times when we would walk our friends or family through the house before siding and drywall, they would comment on the nice work. Many of them were unfamiliar with framing, but could detect the quality. I studied framing and construction for my major, and I could tell the quality immediately. Copious use of nails, and very, very efficient use of materials. Instead of cutting a new 2X6 piece from a fresh 10 footer, they would search through the waste pile to find something that would work. Same with plywood. Overall, I would say that LA saved us about 7-10% on material costs. Additionally, they were very fast, and they did not rent extra equipment as some framers would do for large timbers - instead, they used ingenuity and man-power. They were _clean_ - the site was tidy at the end of every day's work. Their crew is dedicated and talented and their quote was very reasonable when compared to other high-end framers. Our house is very solid, and I love the quality. I would reocmmend these guys to anyone who needs to build a home. Valentin and his brother are first rate people, and I trust them, and I will be calling them again when I build my shop.
