Did 2 moves - one for car and one for household goods. Car move was okay. Household move at the delivery point was not acceptable. Looked like the boxes were tossed about. One even had a big gash in the side. I've made many cross country and state to state moves. This is the first time I tried Angies List and the first time I've had broken glasses and goblets- 12 in all and 2 shattered (not just broken) china serving pieces. The furniture that was taken apart by the company at the point of origin was left apart. Not the experience I expected.

Well, this was the best moving experience that I've ever received including any company or military moves I've done over the years. My move took about 12 hours. They started at 3:45pm Sunday and didn't complete until 4am Monday morning. These were some true soldier like movers like I've never seen before with the highest level of professionalism. The move was very brutal and the temperatures were unseasonably cold that night and not one time they lost any professional bearing along the way. I'm a 12 year US Marine Corps Vet. If I had to go to combat, I would want Byron and Alvin to be by my side all the way! They are a very positive reflection more importantly to themselves and to long distance movers alliance. Byron came into my home with the paperwork to explain all of the details. My best moving experience ever. They were very punctual and worked hard and fast, we just had to stay out of their way. The level of professionalism by the movers was great. I had a couple of bumps and bruises on my furniture, but they took care of ALL of my minor issues. They wrapped our furniture and took great care during the move so that nothing was damaged. The third day, the truck and three very hard workers arrived at our new home in Illinois. The guys were on time, polite, and hard working. All three men worked very hard to deliver our belongings very thoroughly and carefully. They not only brought things in but placed them exactly where we asked them to. They also helped lift furniture while my son placed coasters under the furniture legs so the hardwood floors wouldn't be scratched. They went up to the attic to put things away that we store and do not use often. They were very friendly and all worked very hard and diligently and did not leave until everything was as we requested. It was a perfect experience. The price we paid was very reasonable and I would recommend long distance movers alliance to anyone moving anywhere.

On top of all that, the price was the best I was offered for a "full service" move. I highly recommend Mark and will refer my friends, family and colleagues without hesitation. Don't even waste your time having other companies come to your home for a survey and estimate. The surveyor from long distance movers alliance was the most skilled and made the best weight estimate of those I had at the house. The two large national companies I had out for an estimate made me feel as though I was about to pay really high. One gave a wildly high weight estimate and then offered a very high, set price. The other made a wildly low weight estimate and offered what seemed to be a reasonable price. Not so much. If I went with them I would've ended up paying way more than the estimate. Long distance movers alliance's weight estimate was very close to the actual weight of my belongings and the final price was very close to their offer. Kudos to movers alliance for a job well done!

David and Alex showed up on time, were clean and look professional, they wrapped my furniture like it was worth a million dollars and stacked it into the truck in such a way that it become a solid structure. I was surprised that it was even possible, and on the way these guys kept a good attitude and worked hard like it was nothing for them, very professional. They hit the road right after the load. They managed to get to NJ only in less time than scheduled which surprised me lot, good timing guys. They unloaded in 3 hours and my place is ready for the house warming party :) David and Alex made my move very painless and I think they are totally worth the money I paid for them. Plus, of course, they totally deserved the really good tip, :) but if somebody made u smile during such a stressful thing as moving, u have to give them your gratitude, and I did. Long Distance Movers Alliance were fast and professional throughout our move for the past few days. They thoroughly wrap all furniture and even brought a bunch of big boxes to easily transfer our things. Very communicative and the three movers were very friendly and professional. Everything made it from our old place to the new house in Los Angeles with everything in tact and no damage. They were helpful in the packing up of our things, moving everything out of our house as well as being very careful in how they did everything. Long Distance Movers Alliance exceeded our expectations during our recent cross country move from Oregon to Illinois. They were incredibly professional and fast- from the paperwork to ordering packing material to the moving men. We had a particularly stressful time looking for a mover due to various companies kept changing moving dates on us a number of occasions. Despite this, everybody we dealt with at Long Distance Movers Alliance was thoroughly professional and did their utmost to keep us calm and relaxed. Their stamina was incredible, they got all the kids beds reassembled at the new house and one week on I have yet to find a single damaged item. Everything was well looked after and put exactly where we wanted it. They also reuse their boxes which is environmentally friendly, something very important to us. We chose them because they were the most efficient and reasonably priced of those on this site. I was really impressed with the team who assisted us with our move. They worked hard all day and remained professional, polite, patient and good humored throughout. I would 100% recommend this company without any hesitation, to anybody who is looking to move to long distance.

My fiancee just moved from Portland, OR to Phoenix, AZ. I got a quote from various movers on Angieslist, and found Long Distance Movers Alliance to be the most price competitive for what was offered. I talked to a couple of other movers who were branding themselves as elite, but when you check out their reviews, they were basically average. Also, i checked out the movers from Groupon. It turned out those guys had nightmarish reviews. Ultimately, I settled on Long Distance Movers Alliance and glad we did. We had a pleasant experience with Long Distance Movers Alliance . The move went pretty smoothly. The guys who helped us out, Josh and Dan, got to our place and started immediately. We were on the 3rd floor, with no elevators. The guys did a pretty good job, were pretty energetic, and just got right on it, carrying stuff up and down pretty quickly. Overall, the job was done pretty professionally, and I don't have any complaints. Job well done on this long distance move to AZ.

Thanks Long Distance Movers Alliance! The moving crew did a great job with my move from Portland, OR to Chicago, IL. I have some expensive furniture and a white couch. They packaged everything with care - moving blankets, then shrink wrapped. I have never seen a moving company package my pieces so well. My pieces arrived intact without dings and my white couch still white. They were very professional and reasonably priced. I was quoted a flat rate for the long distance move, not based on weight, shrink wrap included, and no extra charge for stairs. I was also able to schedule pick-up and delivery at a specified time instead the large windows that long distance movers often quote you. They did an amazing job and I would recommend Long Distance Movers Alliance without hesitation!
