Heritage Glass, Inc.

We have a shower that was custom-made to fill the end of a bathroom. It has two large clear glass sliding doors. One shattered, from an unknown cause - possibly because of poor original mounting - and we decided to replace both doors. It took us an unbelievable amount of time and effort to find a company to do the replacement. We contacted bathroom contractors, shower installers, glass companies, large box stores, etc. For one reason and another - including the fact that our shower required a custom size and could not use off-the-rack shower assemblies - we could find only one company near us to do the job. They came to take measurements and give us an estimate, but then we learned that they refused to cooperate with Angie's List and had poor reviews, a huge red flag for us. So, finally we called a large local building contractor who gave us the names of two glass installers they use - and that's how we found Heritage Glass, which is on Angie's List but we had not contacted previously. Heritage was great. John returned our call quickly and sent out Mark to take measurements. The estimate was very close to the one we'd received from the other company. They recommended that we replace the entire assembly which we agreed was a good idea because the reason the original door shattered is unknown and may have been caused by a bent track. The materials had to be ordered from a supplier because of the custom measurements. This fit in fine with our schedule. Mark and an assistant arrived on time to install the new assembly - only to discover that the doors provided by Heritage's new supplier were too tall for the frame. Rather than ordering new glass doors, John at Heritage suggested that longer side rails be ordered and installed at no extra price to us. So, we got taller doors which look fine. Throughout this process, John was very responsive. He returned all of our calls within a day, and communicated with us about every aspect of the job. Mark, the installer, worked quickly and cleanly. He cleaned up the space well and advised us how to deal safely any glass particles that might be left in the area. The doors are beautiful and slide smoothly. They work much better than the original ones.

They do really good work. They do customized work as well. They were phenomenal. I would use them again in the future if I needed.

I like that they were willing to work with our space and configuration issues that we had which was rather limited. They were able to come up with out of the box thinking to make things work. Their quality seems to be very good. They were a little bit difficult to schedule and I think they are pretty busy compared to some contractors I have worked with. Overall it was a positive experience.

Great job. Price was a lot less than Culver Glass. Would definitely use them again.
