Great! Al's team arrived on time, worked hard and completed the job in two days at a price that was almost exactly what was estimated. Highly recommend.

Some things weren't done correctly, but when I brought them to the attention of the owner, he fixed them right away.

Al's company provides regular yard service for me at one house, and occasional service for me at other locations. His crew always does a great job. I don't have to schedule them and they only come as often as needed, more often in the spring and fall and much less often in the winter and when it is dry. Whenever I have needed to meet with him he arrives exactly when he says he will and answers every question I can think of, and some I would never have thought of myself, with a great base of knowledge. He has an eye for detail and I get the feeling he really likes what he does. I would recommend him to anyone

Al stopped by within a day or so of my original request for a bid. He showed up at the appointed time, after calling to say he was on his way. He emailed me the quote and responded immediately upon receiving the down payment and contract to advise his estimated start date and that it would take 3 days. We told him we were flexible and he let us know the exact date the work would begin 3-4 days in advance. The crew stripped the old sod the first day. The second day they excavated and installed the extension of the sprinkler system, applied mulch/compost and rototilled. The 3rd day they finished the rototilling, rolled to smooth the surface and installed new sod. Al returned the 4th day to adjust the sprinkler system (had to dig and reposition heads from our pre-existing sprinkler system) and be sure it was working correctly. I especially appreciate the detailed, written guidelines he provided for care of the new lawn, especially in the unseasonably hot weather and, when requested, his recommendations for lawn fertilization and future landscaping project.

The best thing about this company is the people. Albert is very knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and knows how to pick good people. His crew is top notch. They excavated most of the backyard without any damage to the existing landscaping. They were on time, did not cut any corners and took the surprises in stride. Al came out to the work site several times to make sure everything was going according to plan, and I can comfortably say that the crew did as good of a job when he was there as they did when he was absent. The work was completed in a timely manner, given the weather, and was within the budget. They accommodated our last minute design changes and made sure that the final product fit our vision. Al is also very conscious with the budget, making every effort to not purchase more than required and return any unused material. He is also environmentally conscious.

Al and his team did a great job. Al is very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. They took the time to make sure it was done right (excavating the patio to the right depth, leveling it with a slight slope for drainage, and perfectly matching the pavers to the height of the driveway). The stone edging took some innovation and it came out spectacular. Times when Al wasn't on-site, we had to watch a little more carefully to make sure things were done right, but Al was very flexible and willing to redo things that weren't satisfactory. His first priority was always making sure we were pleased with the project. The final product is gorgeous. We would definitely recommend this company.
