ESP Painting

Prior to accepting the Angie's List special offer I called ESP to confirm they could do my painting prior to a furniture delivery we had scheduled. Spoke directly with the owner, Jeff. He assured me they could do it in the next few days. I then accepted the offer through the website and selected the best 3 days that worked for our schedule. That was a Friday, by the end of that day I had a confirming email they would be at my home the next Tuesday at 8:00AM. Tuesday morning arrived and sure enough, right at 8;00, Martin their painter arrived. Martin was polite, thorough in making sure floors and furniture were protected and efficient. Mid day Jeff dropped by the house to make sure we were happy with the results so far. After about 6 hours Martin had completed our projects and was asking what else we needed as we still had time remaining. On his own he went over some past painting errors I had made, cleaning up some missed spots and rough edges. Martin is a Professional! Would hire him and ESP back anytime we needed additional interior painting. Terrific experience from beginning through completion

The project went exceptionally well. Jeff explained the process he and his crew would follow. They were very successful avoiding getting the redwood wall wet both during wallpaper removal and painting the adjoining walls and ceiling. His crew was very professional, on time and considerate. They cleaned up afterward. We plan to hire them again in the near future.

GREAT...we love these guys! When Jeff came out initially for the bid I had already received 5 others. I am very particular and wanted to be involved in the process. That scares some service providers away but I could tell right away that he was up to the task. I love that he's straight forward. He wouldn't use a certain brand and quality of paint I mentioned because he had previously used it on his own home and it faded too quickly. He was not the least expensive bid I received, nor the most expensive but I have to say...all things considered it was worth every penny. His guys are well trained, friendly, and clean. No messy mistakes and no trace of paint chips or drips anywhere on the property. They did a meticulous job while prepping. They were super careful and used the wet/hand scrape method for removing led paint. That is very important to me and my neighbors because we have children and pets plus the neighbor likes to use a leaf blower a lot. I have no concerns that any of us will be exposed to lead because they were so careful. I have a design background and colors matter a lot to me. The color matching was great and one of three initial color samples was off and Jeff asked the paint store to remix until they got it right before starting. They also did an amazing job cutting the lines on my older home that was built in 1940. The details where beautifully painted and I'm getting so many compliments from the neighbors. They were a pleasure to work with and I will for sure use them in the future. In fact, we're already lining up another job for next spring.

The service has been excellent so far. They are very professional and they have plenty of workers working on the site. They use the appropriate tools and they take the appropriate care. We have had one issue that came up that we have kind of worked out with them but other than that, everything has been done in a professional manner and the paint looks great. Their pricing is good and so far, the quality of their work looks very good.

Jeff had great communication with my wife and I. The crew was very professional, organized, and easy to work with.

The job took 2 and 1/2 days and I couldn't be happier with the results. I have already recommended them to a friend. Hardest workers with great integrity. Powerwashed, dried 2 days. Scraped, which was a major job, used preimer where needed, then covered all areas not to be painterd. Spray and brushed painted.. Cleaned up each day. As I said before, I couldn't be happier with the total outcome. I highly recommend this company. I'm going toi use them foir my interior as well.

Jeff and his crew painted our house last week; this was the second home of ours that they have painted. As always, they did an amazing job. They are incredibly meticulous, with sharp edges and neat lines. The house looks beautiful and they did a wonderful job cleaning up, as well! Thanks, guys!

It all went well, and I was particularly pleased with how responsive Jeff was to doing the final touches to assure I was satisfied. I would definitely hire them again for painting or any of the other services they provide.

He came out to my house to give me the quote. He was very professional. His quote was extremely high and it was about $4250. Everyone else was about $2000. The whole experience was good. I wouldn’t use him in the future just because the price was so high.

They did a great job, The owner was easy to talk to, explained everything in detail and was very frinedly. The workers Jose and Manuel worked so hard in the hottest weather we had all summer. They got the work done in a timely manner, cleaned up well and the owner did a thorough walk through afterwards with me. I would highly recommend them.

After spending time with me reviewing the house on-site, Jeff provided an estimate within 48 hrs. The painting window was identified and scheduled within 2 weeks from the estimate. The work was completed in 3 days (despite weather delays). All work was performed professionally and promptly, with accuracy and cleanliness. The jobsite was clean at the end of each workday. I am very happy with the result and would recommend this provider to others.

Their price was high. The only thing I thought was that they never got the person back in to scrape the house like they said, but the painting was nice, and they were professional.

Jeff and the painters were all extremely professional, responsive and punctual, which we appreciated. We initially had them paint just two rooms, but were so impressed with the work that we had them do another large room, hallway, stairway and our baseboards. They took their time in prepping the walls and filling in nail holes, etc.. They also used a high quality paint, which we appreciated. They removed our light covers and painted under them instead of just painting around them, which we have had other companies do in the past. Their lines where the paint job and the ceiling meet, were fantastic. Jeff called to see how everything was a week after the job was finished and then came out and did a couple of touch-ups himself. We appreciated the follow-up and the fact that he cared that everything was perfect in the end. I have never had a painting company contact me afterward to see if we needed touch-ups. We are planning on having them do some additional painting upstairs within the next two years and we will definitely call them when the outside of our house needs to be painted as well. I am a VERY pick person and I am very pleased with the job that they did.

I wanted to get my home painted but I wanted to wait until after my new windows were installed. The window installer had a death in the family so the install date for the windows was pushed back. Luckily Jeff at ESP was easy to get a hold of and was very flexible with his schedule so I was able to get both done in the order I wanted. He even came by and painted paint samples to on the garage door to help us decide on a color. Carlos and the rest of the crew that came to my home were very professional. They did an excellent job. I would definitely use ESP Painting again. We have gotten a lot of compliments on our home's new look.

When we called Jeff for an estimate, he responded promptly and personally surveyed the project. He walked the yard with us asking us what we wanted to see/improve and also pointed out areas of concern that we missed. He promised to inspect and caulk every joint and nail head on the house. I thought that would be en empty promise, but I was pleasantly surprised. His team spent the first 1.5 days doing exactly that ... pulling caulk, resealing, tapping nails and caulking the holes. No detail was missed in the preparation. Manuel, the team leader, was amazing. He greeted us each day, told us what they were going to do and made sure the working hours were OK with us for the current day and the following. He called us if he came across any questions or problems and kept us in the loop. His team put up and teared down the masking each day. Our house did not look like a construction site for days, which we feared was going to happen. They even vacuumed the deck and our plants where there was dust or paint chips! In the end, our house looks the best that it ever has. ESP painting treated us amazing well and gave the extra effort to make sure we were happy with the results each day. I wouldn't change a thing. They were not the lowest price bid that we received, but after seeing the results, I'm certain ESP Painting gave us the best value for our money. I highly recommend them to all of you ... and have personally recommended them to several of my friends who are having their houses painted by Jeff and his team this summer after seeing our results.

ESP Painting is not the cheapest, but we talked to them and they seemed to be the most experienced and most knowledgeable about everything. I would give ESP Painting an A for overall experience so far.

We purchased the 'painter for a day' package and LOVED IT! Great care was taken to make sure the walls were painted and the mess was cleaned up. The painter and Jeff were very nice and made sure I was happy in each step of the process.

It was perfect. The designer was very helpful; she recommended a trim color that I love. The painters were on site to the second of the time they said they would be. We needed a few spots touched up and they did it more quickly than I thought possible. They listened to me and did everything I requested. Clean up was amazingly well done! The owner was easy to work with, as were the painters. I will use them again when I have another job.

They did an awesome job! We were extremely happy with their execution. I’m very picky, so I really appreciated the amount of detail they put into their work. I would recommend them without hesitation.
