Albert did a thorough review of home (measuring rooms etc. which other companies did not do) and provided clear information regarding options. He also advised of delays in arrival of air conditioner due to supply chain issues. He updated us monthly in regard to status. Installation was done as scheduled with a very professional, respectful and friendly crew. Would recommend.

The installation was very prompt, efficient, clean and professional. The ductwork had a flaw in one downstairs vent and the man on the job had the experience and expertise to fix it. Much appreciated. Got a new Nest thermostat as well and got good instructions on using it. Very happy with the bid and the work.

I recommend them to everyone. They were fast and it was awesome. It was clean. They came with a big crew and knocked in out in no time.

Thomas and the crew at Ecoheat PDX are nothing short of phenomenal. 100% professional and extremely knowledgeable about their work, they all went to great lengths to educate us about the new heating/cooling system we were getting into, and what the best options were for our needs and budget. During installation, they were considerate, careful, clean and quiet. When we ran into some trouble getting a partial refund back from Energy Trust (I wouldn't take the "trust" part too far there), Thomas personally offered to refund a portion of the rebate we were not able to get -- exceptional service and really wonderful people. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Excellent. Professional, knowledgeable, responsive. I work full time so the ability to email and quickly get responses was really convenient for me since I can't make calls at work. Also, the line of eco-friendly heating is excellent and very desirable, and they make it easy to convert and go down that path. It's been almost 6 years since we first worked with Thomas and Ecoheat, and still appreciate this excellent company!

Owner Thomas and his crew of installers were all great. Punctual, good communication, speedy service. They were even very accommodating when we decided on a last-minute change to the location of the outdoor unit on the day of scheduled installation. Included in installation was removal our old gas wall heater unit, and they contacted a scrap metal service to haul it away that same day. They had to open a wall to install a condensate drain, but were able to figure out a very minimal way to do it so the hole to be patched was as small as possible. After the install was done, they provided us with completed paperwork to submit for our tax credit for the new system. Everything about the experience was positive!

ECOHEAT was able to start work immediately after answering my call on Monday morning by Tuesday at 4:00 pm everything was installed, running and the house was warm again. The entire process was very pleasant, there were no delays, and everything was neat and tidy when they finished.

Ecoheat did several jobs related to a kitchen remodel. They installed bathroom fans, a range hood and some duct work. They also installed a new thermostat for the furnace. They always showed up on time and were very professional. There was a problem with the new thermostat tripping a circuit which caused the heat to go out on the weekend. Thomas the owner came to my house to correct the problem. To make up for the inconvenience of that he sent someone back out the following week to do my annual furnace maintenance at no charge!

Very happy. Thomas is very friendly and knowledgeable and takes the time to answer questions. He stopped by daily to make sure everything was going well. I was also impressed that all his workers seemed to know their stuff and were conscientious about doing a good job.

Their work was superb in every way. The price was excellent, equipment top notch and his crew impeccable. They came everyday on time, were willing to work weekends as needed to facilitate other parts of the project getting done and left everything clean.Since then i have needed to call Thomas for issues related to the thermostat which he responded to and fixed within 2 hours. I will seek Thomas' advice first for any HVAC project i do in my home.

Each time they have come into my home they have been the upmost professionals. They show up on time, they leave the worksite clean, and they are willing to come back quickly if anything does not seem quite right. They are some of the nicest guys that I have ever had work on my home and I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to others. They may not be the cheapest, but they do great work and I trust them completely.

Thomas and his crew got the job done even more quickly than his estimate indicated. When we had a minor issue, Thomas came and dealt with it promptly. Additionally, Thomas prepared the appropriate paperwork for us to apply for the applicable grants and tax credits for energy-efficient heating units. I can highly recommend Ecoheat.

Thomas bid on the job and explained in detail what he would do to complete the work. His estimate turned out to be a little high so he credited the difference in the final bill. He showed up on time each visit and once the work was complete - came back to inspect the job and go over the work with us. Overall, it was a really smooth transaction - great experience!

The process was painless. Thomas provided informed estimates, ensuring that I had well-explained options. He and his staff performed the work in a timely fashion. Thomas was on time when he came out to the house and discussed heating options. He also described the different incentives available for the high efficiency furnace. A bonus was that he had just purchased some energy modeling software and so he did a quick energy model of my house as we talked. That was very interesting and informative. His bid was over $1000 less the other bid I received. I accepted. We scheduled the work for a Monday a couple weeks out. On the Friday before, he called to say his current job was going over and so would be at my house on Tuesday instead. Thomas and Jason arrived on time Tuesday morning and got started. Everything went smoothly and Jason did a great job installing, cleaning up, and explaining the system to me. Thomas had all the incentives paperwork ready to go. I would definitely hire Eco Heat again.

Overall, the service I received from EcoHeat was outstanding. Thomas made several trips to our house to develop a duct system in our basement that avoided putting the duct work across the entire ceiling. This plan provided the most efficient use of space without reducing the ceiling height too much. Thomas came up with a plan that was aesthetically pleasing as well as provided great efficiency with the new furnace. They did all the work on the furnaces, water heater and gas lines without any major disruption in our household mechanical systems (heating, water, gas stove). They worked with other contractors (plumbing and framing) very well. Their plumber was even able to trouble shoot a problem we were having with our recirculating pump that my contracted plumber could not fix. They worked very efficiently and cleanly. They were very considerate of us while working and communicated any issues that arose immediately. They were open to discussion about things we wanted a certain way. They even provided the paperwork for me to submit for an energy tax credit and rebate.

They are excellent! They did a great job and if needed we'll use them again the future.

Again, Thomas did not perform any paid work for me as I chose to install a B100 bio-diesel system (which he doesn t work on), but Thomas did provide extensive consultation to me on my home heating project. I was extremely impressed by his willingness to invest in a customer engagement knowing that he might not get the sale. He was genuinely interested in my situation, research and wants and provided an almost unmatched level of detail in terms of industry knowledge. He was intelligent, responsive and seems very ethical. He also provided ample opportunity for me to see some of his work up close, which is very cool. Again, I chose to integrate a heating solution that Thomas doesn't work on, and that is too bad, because I would have hired him in a minute. If you are seeking someone who appears to be very ethical, very knowledgeable and very responsive, he is your man.

Thomas was really great! He came over to do the estimate, and really talked with me about what I wanted. He worked with me with some placement concerns I had with the furnace and new duct work. When it came down to getting the work done, everything went smoothly, and the few people that were in and out of here were all great and respectful.

I found Thomas to be very professional. He returned my call promptly, made a quick appointment to come out and give me an estimate, showed up on time, and was polite and seemed honest and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the specialty furnace and installation was much more expensive than I expected, and I will not be able to have the work done. If price were no object, I would definitely hire this company.

Our experience with this company was excellent. We bought a new house and needed to change out the oil furnace. We also noticed that the ductwork in the basement was done very poorly. We called many heating companies to get quotes, and it was always the same thing, they would come out and give us a quote for the furnace, but when we asked them what they thought about the ductwork they all said it was fine, and blew off our concerns. They all just wanted a quick sale and install. We finally found Thomas with Ecoheat, who took the time to inspect the ductwork. He agreed with us that it was inadequate to properly heat our basement. The work they did was very good, they were always prompt and professional. I would highly recommend this company to anyone without any reservation.
