It seems there may have been a misunderstanding here. We exchanged e-mails with you indicating that we would be refunding you for the other company's service call. Receipt of that message was confirmed and you had indicated that you were satisfied with this outcome. We in no way intended to insult you, and while we would have loved the opportunity to have corrected any issues for you ourselves and believe the issue may have been misdiagnosed as the error code that was indicated does not coincide with their solution, we wanted to make this right with you and agreed to reimburse you for your trouble. - Anctil Heating and CoolingService Provider Response
We sent a tech out for this service call, found the system low on refrigerant, and discovered a leak in the evaporator coil. Our tech added refrigerant and our service manager contacted Lennox about the warranty on the coil. He was informed that they would not cover replacement of the coil by our company as we are not an authorized Lennox dealer (as we are authorized with Carrier and Mitsubishi). We billed the customer for the dispatch fee and the refrigerant charge, let them know about the call to Lennox, and gave them a quote for us to replace the evaporator coil. The customer called again a few days later and we explained the situation again. We apologize that we were unable to replace the coil under warranty, and for any confusion in the communication with our service manager.Service Provider Response
We do show record of playing a bit of phone tag with you. After a few rounds of missing one another, our service manager made several attempts to reach you at the number provided, but the line was busy and we were unable to get through or leave a message. We certainly apologize for the difficulty connecting with one another, and are very sorry we were unable to reach you or leave a message. We hope you'll reconsider and will reach out to us again. - Anctil Heating and CoolingService Provider Response
As the customer mentions this was a particularly hot day / week. Naturally we'd received quite a few calls of this nature and our schedule was filling up quickly. Our receptionist was forewarning callers that it may take up to a week to get a technician out. Our dispatcher returned the call later that day and we were actually able to get a service tech to them the very next day! We diagnosed the problem, which required a replacement part that was not readily available from our supplier. We ordered the part, and scheduled a return visit for replacement.Angi Certified
