Everyone at the company was prompt, professional and easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone.

We just moved into a new home and wanted to make sure the chimney was clean before using the fireplace and the dryer vents were clear to avoid risk of fire. The chimney sweep arrived on time and performed the work as needed. Noticing that our ventilation wasn't optimal, he provided suggestions on how we could keep smoke from coming into the house (pre-heating the chimney with gas or a blowtorch and opening a window when starting the fire).

They were extremely polite, extremely polite, extremely clean, extremely knowledgeable, and it was a wonderful experience. I thought the pricing was very reasonable.

They were quick- made recommendations for possible improvement to the chimney- but were not pushy. They kept the aread clean and were punctual and polite.

Master Sweep did a great job. They were actually early for the job. They took their shoes off; laid down a tarp; cleaned up the entire area; and gave me good advice on future chimney maintenance.

He showed up on time as expected, probably before hand. He did the work work he said he was going to do. Actually inspected the chimney and gave me some advice about my roof because I just had my roof done and how it can affect my chimney. That was greatly appreciated because he didn't think it was gonna stand up the weather. He gave me an estimate for a cap on my chimney and I'm sure I'll go back to him for that. He even offered to re-inspect the chimney so those are things he didn't have to do but was greatly appreciated. He gave me the opportunity to work with him again as a result.

It went very well. They did a great job. They were on time. They were speedy and efficient. They were also very professional and courteous.

Went fine, for the most part. They were on time and they were in and out in maybe 25 minutes. No mess left behind. The one thing I would recommend is checking the company's availability before purchasing Angie's special deal. While it didn't cause a problem (it was not yet fireplace season), I was surprised when I realized that they were booked two months out. Second thing was I was downstairs starting laundry when they left, and so I didn't get a chance to ask them how it went. They left a results sheet on the table with very little written on it. I was interested to know how much cleaning they had to do (whether it was mostly clean or an absolute disaster), but the results only gave me confidence that there are no immediate concerns for the chimney.

The service was good. My husband primarily dealt with them, but I have no complaints with the service.

They did it very quickly and made a clean job out of it. I knew that I had problems with my fireplace so I asked him if that’s bad. I like everything about it. They did an excellent job.

They were great. I got the services from them and then they did a chimney sweep for my daughter as well. They were very careful about cleanliness, they were on time, did a good job, and worked really quickly. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. I’m very happy with the service. There was a delay on his side and my side.

Fine. Two employees showed up and sweeped the chimney in about half an hour. My only complaint was that there was a four hour show up window (8-12 am) and they showed up at around 11:20. A shorter show up window would have allowed me to make better use of my time.

Was not overly impressed. I don't think they spent much (if any) time up on roof, cleaning chimney from that direction. Sure didn't seem like it, compared to other chimney cleaning service I have had.

Cleaned chimney. Large quantity of creosote was removed. Contractor put down a clean drop cloth, removed shoes before entering house, and was careful to prevent soot from getting into the house. Contractor and his assistant were personable and courteous. Contractor seemed very knowledgable about chimneys and was very articulate. Chimney Inspection Form entries were made for date, customer name & address, notations in comments section that it was cleaned, paid in full, and to call in 2 years. Contractor did not sign or date inspection form. No inspection notes were entered on the report. Contractor did not access roof to inspect. The deal offered through Angie's list was to include the following: Inspection & Sweeping Ensuring chimney is in working order Inspecting chimney to identify any problems that could prevent peak performance Recommendations to make chimney to burn cleaner & more safely The work did not appear to include inspection and nothing documented to indicate inspection on the inspection report. I recommend that Contractors should not be paid in advance through Angie's List. This is a good example of why.

Master Sweep was great. They actually showed up early; first they inspected the chimney and then cleaned it. He had a recommendation of an outside cap, since I have an old-style flue and chimney, but no pressure sales. Great job!

They looked at the chimney and decided it didn't need any cleaning or work. They ended up refunding my money. They suggested some other work that involved my chimney and I asked for a quote, but I never got a response.

They did an excellent job. I would do it again. I will call them again when it's time.

Scheduling was really easy. It turned out really well. They were able to complete the job in about an hour. He seems like a really good businessman. He explained we wouldn't really need to sweep it again for another two years. This was really refreshing to have someone so honest. We plan to use them in the future.

Provider was very professional; he shared technical knowledge of chimney and future preventive services. Clean-up of fireplace box was very good. I would recommend and use Master Sweep for chimney services again.

It went well and they pointed out some important issues with how our flashing was done improperly. They knew what they were doing and I appreciated that they noticed the issues with the flashing. Overall, they did a nice job. They workers were fine. We had no issues with the scheduling.

Master Sweep went a little slow. Scheduling itself when they finally did return my call, I had to call them twice to get them to return my call, to schedule it they just gave me a date, then they called me the day before with the time and I had to call them half of the time and they still didn't call me back. They did come out and I'm not sure, because I've never had my chimney swept before, so I'm not sure about the quality. It was very fast, I thought it was supposed to be an inspection, look at the door, look at everything else, and I didn't get a report or anything. Nobody even told me anything, they swept it and it took about five minutes and that was it. It just wasn't what I was expecting.
