Description of Work: Mr. Gilmore went to Home Depot and picked up a portable air conditioner that i had ordered. He then installed the air conditioner in my Mother in Laws home and did a fine job in all respects. I would use his services again and feel very comfortable recommending him.

Description of Work: We called Roy for an estimate on price and time it would take to do a couple of jobs. He was well within a reasonable rate. Unfortunately we ran into a problem with finances for a couple of months, but plan to have him come back in July and will be using him for more than we originally planned on.

+ -1 moreGot Roy's name off of Angie's list, several good reviews so gave him a call. Had one bid already for over $700.00 (of which $400.00 was for labor). Excessive to say the least. Roy came out on Thursday, we reviewed what I wanted done and met this morning to pick up all the bits and pieces (shelf materials, hangers, etc). Met at 0900, picked out all the materials I wanted, back home 45 minutes later and off we go. Well, Roy did 95% of the work. Excellent job, all the shelving is flat level, even sections abut another, pure quality workmanship.
Description of Work: Complete set of high end shelving unit in garage.

He came to give me an estimate, and said he could return in a few days and probably do the job in a few hours. He did the job in the estimated time and for the estimated amount. I couldn't be more pleased. Very well done, and very professional.
Description of Work: Mr. Gilmore cut and installed baseboard in a bedroom, expertly mitering and caulking. He did a great job and I will definitely have him do other work for me in the future.

+ 1 moreOur experience was excellent from start to finish. Roy was very responsive and came up with a creative idea to solve our problem. He completed the job ahead of schedule.
Description of Work: The foundation screens covering the vents at my employer's office were not holding well due to settling of an addition to our main building. Unfortunately, animals had taken up residence under our building. We contacted Roy and asked if he could repair the ineffective screens. He went above and beyond and created wooden frames complete with new screens that we can easily remove (and set back in place) when needed.

+ -1 morePrior to the job, Roy had discussed the job with me in detail; this way, he purchased the necessary materials from the hardware store prior to arriving on site. On the day of service, he was very prompt. The new location of the light switch was convenient, and the other two electrical lines were neatly tucked out of the way. During the job, he received what I assume was a non-emergent personal phone call, and I heard him tell the caller: "I'm working, so I'll call you back." In a world where attention spans are getting shorter, and given that I'm a service professional as well, I respect this level of professionalism and dedication to the job at hand. When the bill came, I found Roy to be very honest. He hands over the receipts (or copies thereof) for materials. His hourly rate is also reasonable.
Description of Work: Roy moved a light switch in the attic to make it more accessible, and he also rerouted two electrical lines that were in the way of access into the attic.
