It went well
Description of Work: Pat Murphy came out to our home and repaired some baseboard and molding. Pat was very easy to work with and the work he did for us looks great. We would use the company again should the need arise.

The member mistakenly purchased a Home Tuneup Assessment (an offering Angie's List developed and marketed) thinking they could use it for Handyman services. A fee of $95 was paid and quickly refunded by Angie's List. No services were provided to this member by our organization. We are disappointed to receive this rating and believe it should be removed from the account.

Description of Work: Bought a special for a day's worth of handyman labor. They promptly contacted me and setup a time to do the work (installing a bathroom fan + replacing a mailbox). The person they sent out was very helpful and completed the work in less then a day so they gave me credit for the remaining hours. The work was well done and I am really happy with it as well as the communication and customer orientation of this company. Will use them again.

Description of Work: After one conversation by phone where we agreed that I would email pictures of the kitchen counter I want to replace, and one email from them saying they received the email, I have lost contact with this contractor. The person who was going to set up a visit for an estimate has not returned 2 phone messages and 4 emails. I guess my job was too small, but you'd think they'd come right out and tell me. Or they are so busy they can't return my call or emails. Maybe the guy I talked to got fired and no one has received my messages, though they did say they couldn't START the job for a month because they were busy, maybe that meant phone calls and emails too. | |Don't know why, so I don't want to grade them too harshly, but it was a waste of my time and a frustration.

High call volumes coupled with the challenge of generating fast estimates at times delays our ability to respond in a timely manner. We do serve clients in the Boring area and certainly have other clients further out from the Portland Tri-County area than this client's home. Certainly scope of work to travel the extra distance is a factor which affects pricing and we work very hard to be efficient and cost effective for all client engagements.
