Description of Work: My husband and I own a condo in the Pearl District and were interested in renting it out. We've had rental properties in the past and had run into trouble trying to manage them ourselves, so thought it best to use a property manager to keep things professional. | |We have been using Eagle Property Management for the past 2 1/2 years. This is a small company with very friendly, personable and professional staff. They've always been helpful and responsive when we have questions. Bill Lamberth met us at the condo, explained his services and helped us set a market rent. | |Eagle Property Management found an excellent tenant, they collect the rent, deposit funds directly into our bank account, provide monthly statements, and they take care of any repairs that come up. The management fee is 10 percent of the rental amount. There was also a fee for finding the tenant, and charges for repairs as they come up (all very reasonable). I'm very happy with the service we receive and recommend them without reservation. |

Description of Work: We met with Bill in September of 2014 and went over what we needed to do to get the house ready to rent. We did some of the things and Eagle did some of the items. In December they found a renter, who is still there. We are into the second year working with Eagle and find them to be very satisfactory.

+ -1 moreMr. Lamberth arrived at our rental home with a very thorough information pack. My wife and I met with him for a half hour. He answered our immediate questions and then asked us to read over everything and think about which services we wanted for a day or so. After we signed up, he put the property up the same day. As he began to interview potential tenants, he kept us in the loop with a phone call or email each week. Before he signed a contract with a tenant he let us know. That was six months ago. As of today, the tenant has paid the rent on time each month, the yard is taken care of, and we have had no problems. I highly recommend Cascadia Property Management for your management needs.
Description of Work: These guys are real pros. They showed up on time, dressed nice, and organized. I thought it would take a few hours to meet with them and talk over their services. But they brought a packet of information that covered almost every question I could ask. After a brief meeting, I took the information home and was able to read over it on my own time. I called Mr. Lamberth back a few days later and signed up. He put my duplex up for rent later that day and sent me the Craigslist link. He kept me in the loop every step along the way.

+ -1 moreThe whole experience was very smooth and efficient. I spent 6 months trying to sell my house after my husband and I moved in to another one last year. My old house was vacant, and the mortgage payments were pretty rough. I was referred to Eagle Property Management by a friend and when I called Mr. Lamberth answered the phone. He met me at the house the next day. When he arrived, he had price comparables of what the house would rent for, as well as a laptop and printer - a sort of mobile office so he could set up the account then and there. We agreed to do business and he put a "for rent" sign in the yard before he left. He told me he got calls from the sign later on that afternoon. I saw the property advertised on Craigslist a couple of days later. When Mr. Lamberth found suitable tenants, he called me (as I had requested) to discuss them before he signed any papers. They sounded great so I gave the go-ahead. Mr. Lamberth set up the online account to receive the payments. It's amazing that the payments get deposited in to my account each month so I don't have to make a special trip to the bank. It's been five months since I hired these guys and I'm happy with how it's gone. I recommend their services.
Description of Work: Eagle Management is a property management company here in Portland that I contacted back in January to manage a property I couldn't sell. They have been managing my property for the last five months and do an excellent job. They are really on top of the ball. The rents get collected automatically every month, and are deposited directly in to my bank account a few days later. I don't know how other companies collect rents but I've always heard about the "check is in the mail" syndrome from tenants, but they seem to take care of all that. I get monthly P and L reports emailed to me each month like clockwork. Since I use email a lot for work, I'm comfortable with it, and like communicating through that means. Their service seems very modern and like a property management company should be run. I've heard a lot of horror stories about management companies, but I couldn't be happier with Bill and the team at Eagle PM. I highly recommend them.
