"As a business with a small staff of quality service providers, we are forced to limit the number of clients we can properly care for. We are not able to take on regular service for customers for whom we did not build their pool or spa. We continue to prioritize our services for our new construction and longstanding, loyal patrons. That being said, we did try to assist the potential customer in replacing her hot tub cover. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to open her jpg photo attachment by several staff members, we emailed her a request for the picture to be reformatted as a pdf file, to which she did not respond. We are sorry she felt slighted by an email response, but we receive many calls and emails each day for assistance and must respond in the most efficient manner for best utilization of our staff. It may have seemed greedy to charge for a trip to measure the hot tub cover, but even a short drive of 6 miles would have used 30-45 of our time round trip. If we are guaranteed the job, this is included in the quote, but in years past we have done this service and the potential customers found the cover cheaper elsewhere, purchasing it with our measurements. We will continue to do our best to meet the needs of owners in Oregon and SW Washington, with the understanding that the in-ground pools, spas and water features which we have designed and built remain our top priority. Loyalty begets loyalty."
