They are very honest about what is going on. They are quick and use the least toxic chemicals, so it's safe for animals and children.

He helped me understand the signs of pests we'd been seeing and gave options for dealing with each one, including what we can do ourselves. He went beyond just answering my questions and told me about the impact and dangers of pests, such as hantavirus from deer mice and serious bites from hobo spiders. We talked about how to integrate pest control with the upcoming remodel. When we're ready to hire a company, we would not call any but Affordable Pest Control.

He didn't charge me for the unsuccessful time that my dog interrupted. He charged $200 with a $25 Angie's' List discount. Joe and his son are honest, reliable and got the job done without trying to scare me into unnecessary services, as other pest control companies have done in the past. I recommended him to my neighbor. I will use Affordable Pest Control if the rats come back as they seem to do every couple years, due to a big field behind our home.

I called Joe to come to my house to take care of a mouse problem in my garage and adjoining boiler room. He told me how to take care of the problem myself & all the things I could do that were easy to get rid of the mice and that I didn't have to spend the money to have him come out. He was very thorough and very nice. I did all the thins he told me and I do not see any evidence of the mice anymore. Thanks Joe. I would recommend him highly.

I first called Joe Daley after finding a silverfish. During our conversation I mentioned I was having my roof cleaned and treated, so he suggested we spray after the roof cleaning Joe arrived on time and did a diligent job. He also stuffed some steel wool around an exterior pipe and gave me a couple of suggestions.

We tried to get rid of these carpenter ants on our own, but after months of squishing them and spraying them, we gave up. We called Joe at Affordable and were very, very pleased with the service we got. We thought he was just going to spray in the kitchen, but he sprayed around the entire house, inside and out, the garage, the fence and a tree we thought might be the source of the ants. He even drilled two small holes in the siding to make sure we covered every place they might be hiding. Joe and his son were friendly, reasonably priced, courteous, careful and concerned with doing a good job for us. Can't ask for more than that. Joe even called once to ask if we wanted to reschedule the spraying since it was raining on the day we picked--that's amazing for a company to do that. One week after the spraying and the ants are gone. I would highly recommend this company.

Joe and his son came, sized up the situation and smoke bombed the holes where the rat's nest was. They also set up two traps and covered the holes to the nest. Joe came back the next day to check the traps and found that he had caught two big ones. He carted them off and set the traps again. A few days later, he reported that he had caught another one. Now he is coming and checking the traps once a week, until he is not catching any.

He returned our call quickly, scheduled a meeting for the following week, and showed up on time. He was there for about an hour searching for place the mice got into the house and setting traps. He left traps that did not need to be retrieved, and solved the problem almost immediately. He was punctual and very knowledgeable and helpful. He also gave us a discount for mentioning Angie's List.

I'm very impressed with his response and knowledge of how best to address the problem. I would use him again.

My wife and myself just bought a house. We pulled the carpet out to find wood damaged throughout one area of the house. Expecting that it would be very costly to treat and replace the wood, we made a couple of calls. One was estimated that it would be very expensive and another said nothing needs done. Joe came in for free, unlike EcoCare, who charged $75 to do a very brief inspection. Even better, I called him on Sunday December 30th and he came the very next morning, New Years Eve. He explained exactly what needs done, and told us that it was such old damage that we shouldn't even hire him to treat it! In addition, from his experience with working on houses in general he saw some other areas of concern about the house's foundation and plumbing, told us how to fix some, and others of more concern recommended we get a contractor out. With all the help Joe was, and not even accepting payment for the inspection - we couldn't have asked for better!

We have used Affordable Pest previously and called Joe to provide service for an ant issue. As always he arrived promptly and provided interior and exterior spraying. He has always been honest in telling us what we needed and more importantly what we didn't need. Since it is almost winter, we didn't need a lot of extra exterior since insects are more dormant.

I was planning on having him spray. I'm having trouble with spiders. At this point, he didn't do the work. He has advised since we are heading into the cold season to hold off on the extermination. I called with Joe Daily the owner of the company he seems very professional and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with him with his willingness to share his information and not just running out to do a job that I may not need right now.

He seemed really nice when I talked to him over the phone. He was not too busy to talk about my situation and give me suggestions so I appreciated that. He also picked up a dead animal from the back yard which he really didn't have to do so I think that was really cool that he went "above and beyond". I was surprised to find a spider in the house the next day so I was a little perplexed about that.

Great! They showed up on time and was in and out in 30 minuets. I was happy with the job done. Joe is very knowledgeable of insects and knows what he is doing. I would call them again. I feel the price was very reasonable.

I found this company on Angie's List and decided to give them a try. My former pest service let my contract with them lapse and were uninterested in renewing the service. These guys got to me earlier than scheduled due to a cancellation, showed up on time, at the early morning time that worked with my schedule. They sprayed inside and outside the garage, helping to move items out of the way of the spray. The job took about 20 minutes, and 24 hours later, my garage is littered with dead carpenter ants. They told me the effects of the spray should last as long as a year, with quarterly sprays not needed as I've had in the past. Joe told me the work is guaranteed so if I see more ants, he'll come and re-spray. I was very happy to both save money and to find another exterminator I like working with.

Owner returned my call quickly and an appt. was scheduled for the following week. He and his son arrived on-time and completed the job quickly. Have not seen an ant inside our home since.

Mr. Daley sprayed the area, found a tiny paper wasp nest on the opposite side of the patio and removed it, and wouldn't charge me the price quoted because he didn't need to do much. He gave me instructions on what to look for in case the wasps return, suggested we clean up under our fruit trees because of possible rodent attraction, noticed we have a lot of bees and told me how to locate their nest, and suggested we remove the robin's nest from under our eave because of bird mites. He reminded me to call him if the wasps return and he'll deduct the payment from the next visit.

Joe was at the phone when I called. We set up at time to meet for an estimate and he arrived on time. He explained the monthly service for rat control and did not require a contract. He told me what I could do in the yard to help the problem and prevent future problems. We began treatment that day and within a week I found 4 dead rats in the yard. Within a few weeks, there were no rats anywhere. I was thrilled to have the problem gone. Joe did not suggest or push for continued monthly service.

I appreciated his honesty on the phone. He suggested ways I could try to get rid of the mice first before paying him to come to my house.

They arrived as scheduled and completed the work with attention to detail. They looked for and found the source of our problem and explained how ants have dormant periods which makes it unnecessary to spray more than once a year since their product lasts up to 6 months.
