Auto and RV repair, Automotive, domestic and import repair tune-ups, brake work, RV repair complete from chassis to house and appliances, RV parts & consignment sales,
Due to discrepancies between verbal statements and invoice, and difficulty communicating with mechanic(s) who actually did the work, I am not sure repairs were what I needed, except for window repair. Office staff friendly and helpful, and they took me as soon as they could, but the invoice issues and conflicting explanation of work make me hesitate to go back.
Description of Work: Engine and body problems repaired on RV.

While at large RV retailer, having some particular work done, I asked them to fix a leak that I couldn't find. Said they fixed it and billed me for it. Got the RV back and first time it rained I had same leak in same area. Took it to Blue Lake where I have been before. Told them about leak and what dealer did. Took them a couple of days to find it but turned out to be rain coming in from the slideout. They removed the awning and resealed the entire slide, reinstalled the awning and resealed all seams on and around it. Felt price was very fair considering the time spent finding the leak and the work needed to remove and replace large slide awning and reseal everything. Shortly after we had a heavy rain...NO LEAK. Have used Blue Lake before and have always found them to be friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Will use them again and recommend them highly.
Description of Work: Found and fixed motorhome leak.

In a nutshell: personable, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, professional and affordable. Was told by a large RV dealer my generator was too old, parts not available and not repairable. Went on-line, made two phone calls, had part in 5 days. Went to Blue Lake RV repair, Brad said he didn?t think it was the part I brought him but he would put it in. Called me said it wasn?t the part, took it back out and put it in original box for me. Tested the generator, ordered and put in another part and it was fixed!! He knew I had a strict timeline and even though he got the part a day late, he got the job done a day early. Charges were very reasonable, especially if you consider I didn?t have to buy a new generator. Will definitely be using again as the need arises. Highly recommend!
Description of Work: Repaired generator and reinstalled batteries (done poorly and improperly by others).

Everything went as planned and promised. We dropped the trailer off the night before the service. We picked it up the next evening with everything completed. During the day they called to report on the status of repairs and charges. Everything went as expected.
Description of Work: Winterized camping trailer and performed various repairs. Most importantly they do an excellent job inspecting the trailer for various issues which may require service. For instance they checked the tires and reported need for replacement. We have used this company for several years now. At the end of each year we bring it in for winterization and to repair various things that broke over the summer. They can be trusted to provide good feedback on features which may need attention. This year there were 2 items of concern. One was a possible leak; the other the tire age. They reported the leak was fixed and did not need more extensive repairs. The tires were almost 10 years old and needed replacement.

Brad Wolf, the owner of the shop, knew that we were 1500 miles from home, and overcharged for the repair. Then, when I needed a small scrap of wood and a bit of tape to hold a lever open until I could get to the manufacturer in Nebraska, he charged me $7.00 for a roll of duct tape and $4.00 for a small scrap of wood that had been in his trash bucket. I feel strongly that he overcharged me because we were 1500 miles from home and he felt he could get away with it. I had been in Washington State visiting friends who have an RV, and made sure they knew how we had been treated. The hitch repair, for which he charged $300.00, was crooked, and required $250 in parts from Blue Ox to put the receiver at the correct height. Wolf is a charismatic, good-looking man, who could charm the unwary. Be sure to get a written estimate if you are having work done.

Blue Lake RV winterized our travel trailer while we waited. They were very thorough and explained what they were doing during the process. They also offer free de-winterizing in the spring.

The work was high quality and well done. They performed everything correctly and did a good job. When initially calling, I asked when it could be done. They quoted a Wednesday. In talking with them I let them know they could make it lower priority since we did not plan to use the trailer until spring. It took a week before they actually got to look at the job and schedule the work. I plan to use them again. They are easy to work with, recommend when not to do work, and do high quality work.
Description of Work: We brought our camping trailer to have the roof sealed, a lock replaced, and the water system winterized. They performed all of these items. We initially asked to have the appliances serviced but their recommendation was to wait until spring time for this work.

I live in an RV park that's a quarter mile away from it . They do a lot of business in the park and people are really happy with them. They have good prices and a lot of times when somebody comes to fix something they charge a lot of money to do it but these guys don't. Their checks are very smart and they go the extra mile. They replaced the lights on the front of the RV just because they were weathered. Their work is top notch.
Description of Work: They did some body work on the RV and they have also troubleshot some problems with our vehicles. They replaced the dome on the front of a 5th wheeled RV.
