There wass some miscommunicationboth between my client and the estimator, and between the estimator and his crew, but they are compensating for the issues that arose with the next phase of the project.

since they waterproofed our basement, it's alittle hard to tell if it worked or not until it rains real good, but they did what they said, they were less expensive than their competitor and they did it all in 3 days ! they were great.

After driving all the way from Eugene to Portland and prepping, contractor located knob and tube wiring and could not complete the job. Full refund! I am amazed and thankful for their business practices. I will definitely use these folks again!

You won't know if the sound is reduced until your project is completed. In our case the sound was reduced not eliminated.

Very professional and thorough. I had my attic cleaned out and insulated in two days. Great workers that like their jobs and are company employees, not subs. I'm totally happy with the job they did.

The specific project completed on our home was to provide drainage, including a sump pump, in our crawl space and to replace the vapor barrier. Although our particular project was very difficult, including a clay surface below the old vapor barrier, the crew managed to prepare the drainage pipe ditch and lay perimeter drainage pipe. They labored with soil that was either too wet and therefore too sticky to work with a shovel, or soil that was too dry and almost rock hard. After many days of effort they managed to successfully install pipe, sump pump and vapor barrier. In spite of the very difficult conditions with which they struggled to complete the project, the crews who worked on our project were very courteous and professional in the way they did their job. I would highly recommend Josh Lowe's Dr. Energy Saver Home Services.

These guys mean what they say. Our previous contractor took us for a ride. These guys came in and showed what it means to be true professionals. They sealed everything and were on top of things like cleanup, detail and were genuinely concerned with doing the job right. Not just to industry standards but above and beyond!!! Eric, Michael, Derek and Mikah they rock. Eric is a true leader in my opinion.

It was expensive, and we are hoping that it will improve our health problems, if so it was worth it.

To start, please take the lack of poor reviews of this company with a grain of salt. The owner, Josh Lowe, said he required legal contracts preventing me from posting anything about him or his company online or on any social media before he would take any further steps. This means if there is a problem, you can't tell anyone about it, even if he does not fix it. I did not agree to sign anything. In addition, Josh Lowe DOES NOT GUARANTEE the work. There is only a 1 year limited warranty for “defects”, which the homeowner has to find and bring to their attention. Hope you are up to crawling around your attics with a flashlight! I did and found a whole room left uninsulated. From the contract: We specifically disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including, without limitation, the warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. “Fitness for a particular purpose” means they do not even guarantee that the insulation will actually insulate. I contracted the company to replace my insulation in October of 2015. They advocated foam insulation, which they stated would keep my house cool and decrease my winter bills, and I hired them despite the much higher estimate ($8352; the competitor estimates $2500-3300 for their recommended fiberglass batting). I have now had two summers with the insulation and my house now is significantly hotter and often hotter than outside. I consulted 4 other insulation companies, who all stated that the foam insulation was not appropriate and would contribute to the heating problem. I contacted the company and met with the Josh Lowe twice (in June of 2016, again in June of 2017), implied I was lying when I explained my complaints that my house was hotter. He said the insulation was working fine and refused to acknowledge any problem existed and that any change to the insulation would not help. He kept repeating his company tag line, that he “had fixed my uncomfortable home forever”, but then said I had to get an air conditioner (an additional $6000) to fix my uncomfortable home. He also repeatedly said the other companies were liars and that Fiberglass didn't work. I can not stress enough how unbelievably insulting and dismissive Josh Lowe was. I strongly recommend avoiding this company and do not fall for their high pressure sales tactics. Trusting this company has been the most costly and upsetting mistake I have ever made. My house is now unlivable any day with a temperature over 80 degrees and I have to find a way to afford another $6000 to fix the problem he created.

Gave us an overall view of what needed to be done and then let us decide what we wanted to do. No preasure to do everything on the list. Very friendly staff, did the work in a timely manner and cleaned up after themselves!

John Bullard directed an expert crew when my windows were installed. The installation could not have gone any better. They took a barely usable basement space and added windows which made for a well-lit, comfortable, workroom. There were no issues or problems. I barely noticed they were in the house and suddenly 14 windows had been professionally installed and the old ones removed.

My new-to-me home built in 1947 was 95 degrees in the walk-up attic in the summer! It made downstairs hot, too. I just couldn't stand it any more. If you put your hand on the ceiling, it was amazingly hot. A friend suggested just nailing some foam boards onto the underside of the roof, but I thought there has to be a better solution. I did research, saw the blown-in insulation, and had Josh Lowe out to give me a proposal. It ended up spray foam was the better solution. Since his company installs spray foam AND blown-in cellulose, I thought he was truly telling me the better solution, rather than just selling me on one thing. Glad I chose them for spray foam, and my home is easier to live in now!
