Working through the application process was such a terrible customer service experience. Easy questions about the status of the application were met with rude and unhelpful responses from Tayler. When I spoke with her about how frustrating the process had been, she just argued, wouldn't take any responsibility, and did not apologize. She even claimed that her responses were not rude because she used a "smiley face" in a text. Almost comically unprofessional. If applicants are treated this way, I can't imagine the nightmares their tenants must deal with. In no way, shape, or form would I recommend Campus Connection.

Campus Connection is the WORST rental company I have ever worked with. The unit was dirty when we moved in, carpets were not cleaned (see photos) I shampoo'd them upon arrival. I cut my foot on the exposed carpet tack strip, shelves and rods falling off the walls, walls left unfinished and unpainted with holes. Homeless people were squatting on the property, storing stuff under the deck, and urinating/defecating on the property. It took Campus Connection a MONTH to come out and clean up all the poop. Homeless sleeping on our porch, using the electricity and water outlets. We CALLED THE POLICE every single day to safely enter and exit our unit without being harassed. According to Campus Connection, it is the tenants responsibility to call the police and ensure our safety on the property, not theirs. Charlie and Jim know what they are doing. They treat tenants with respect, and they keep in touch with me (the landlord) . Overall, it's a win-win situation for everyone. I feel confident that my tenants are happy, and I'm informed.

I've got to say, I was a bit apprehensive when considering letting a property management company take over responsibility for my rental properties. I have always taken care of things myself and hadn't really heard good things about how property management companies did/did not pay attention to their properties in general. That said, I really didn't have the time and energy to keep up with my rentals any more. After sitting down with a few different companies, I have to say that I really came away impressed with Campus Connection - and gave them the job. They seemed to be more concerned with maintaining my properties and maximizing rents than others. About six months into my first year with them, I have to say, I'm very happy that I selected them. Charlie is able to handle all small issues herself, without bothering me, and I can expect a consistent rent check every month. Just recently, she and Jim went through all my properties (without my request) and outlined all the things I can do to help maintain them and maximize rents for next year. It seems like their prices are about the same with most others in Eugene, however the services you get are far superior. Needless to say, I've been very impressed so far and would highly recommend them to any property owners looking for property management services in Eugene.
