They quoted me one price and then when my daughter went to pay for it, it was a little bit more. It was inexpensive compared to a moving company. There was no problem with the truck. It took six hours for the move. The punctuality was average.

The nasty practice of U-Haul tricking people into using extra days is awful. It is old fashioned, Barnam and Baily, fleece the public, cheat and steal business. It will catch up with them and I for one will never use their services again.

"At what point was there an unanswered question, making te rental less than clear? With greatest apologies, we attempt clarity of rentals. Time of use, equipment availability, and reservatons. When you speak to a call center to make reservation, All calls are recorded. We find that your call was properly processed and your reservation was made for the time needed, and discussed. If there was something missed, at reservation call center, or the location, we are unable to find it. We do take great pride in providing safe secured services to All our customers and find ourselves clear on what is available, within those reserved periods. Upto 24 hours in any given day when asked is a one day charge. Becasue of the large demand for equipment we are able to schedule our equiment with details on rental times and returns, exactly as you would in any rental situation. Scheduling your rental use and meeting your needs is of great imprtance, and with the use of technology, we have been able to serve, more customers at lower costs than any other locations in the PAcific Northwest regional area. Once again, Our sincerset apologies for your bad experience. Please be assured it was not intended ."

Despite a little confusion in the beginning the experience turned out great. My first contact was with an agent that described himself as and quot;newand quot;. He fumbled a bit then recommended a product and quoted a price. Unfortunately, there must have been a communications problem ... his recommended product turned out to not fit my vehicle and his pricing was inaccurate. Of course I didn't know that at the time and went ahead and made an appointment for the installation and left.
After just a few miles down the road I realized there were several questions I should have asked/wanted to ask so I returned. This time I dealt with an experienced agent who quickly determined that almost all of the information I had received earlier was incorrect. He selected the proper hitch for my vehicle, answered my new questions, and honored the orignial price quote, even though the correct hitch receiver was an upgraded, more expensive, name brand unit that was more expensive than the originally recommended one.
The installation went exceedingly well. The wiring and brake controller installation look like a factory install ... everything is neat and tidy and labled. (Believe me, not all businesses do such a great job. I had a hitch installed a few years ago on a different vehicle by a different outfit and the wiring and harness were so sloppily installed it looked like it was done by a blind person --- and they destroyed a weather gasket that cost me a fortune to replace.)
Hitches is all this store does. They are very good at it and they know their product (I bet the new guy will, too, after some time on the job). Ask for Ponch if you can.
Bonus time came when it was time to pay up. They gave me an additional 10% off because I was referred to them by the business I had bought my travel trailer from --- something I didn't ask for or even know about. I won't ever go anywhere else for hitch work.

GOOD SERVICE, (SERVICE AGENT WAS FRIENDLY). DOLLY AND BLANKETS ARE INCLUDED IN TRUCK SO YOU CAN USE IF YOU DECIDE TO DO SO LATER (YOU ARE ONLY CHARGED IF ITEMS ARE USED). ONLY COMPLAINTS ARE 1) I REQUESTED TRUCK FOR 12 HOURS OF USE AND I WAS GIVEN THE TRUCK FROM 4PM TO 7AM (WHICH IS MORE THAN 12 HOURS, BUT WHO MOVES IN THE WEE MORNING HOURS)? AND 2) 12 HOURS AFTER I RETURNED THE TRUCK, I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL ASKING FOR THE TRUCK TO BE RETURNED (THIS TURNED OUT TO BE A SIMPLE MISTAKE ON THEIR PART).
