Oregons Premier Home Inspection and Duct Cleaning

They're really good. The guy cleaned and explained to me. In my seven years, I would have done duct cleaning at least twice but nothing like that, they're amazing! They told me that the dryer or something was very dusty, he opened that and showed to me. He gave me an option and told me that it didn't need to be done but if it was done it would be good. I said, "Okay, let's go ahead with more work" So it cost me maybe $130 or $140 more. I don't have any dislikes about them. The guys took their own sweet time and cleaned it properly. They explained me what the procedure was and what I had to do. They even proved the quality that I would be getting after the cleaning. That was what I was really impressed about. He told me, "At the end you will be able to hear the air coming through your vent." It was exactly the same which I never did with a couple of other cleaners. When it comes to price I found them a little bit spendy but I got the quality of work, so I don't mind. I wouldn't say it was cheap.

This was a classic case of "bait and switch." He was simply not going to clean the ducts for the amount of the coupon, so he looked for a way to increase the cost to what he wanted to be paid. Increasing the bid by 83 percent for what he claimed was an additional ten foot long duct was ludicrous. I suppose I should have know that this was going to happen based upon the majority of reviews here. Ironically, I would have had him perform the job and would have been happy to pay what he bid and even more if he was honest and had not played this game.

They did a good job. It turned out to be more expensive than we thought that it was going to be, but they did a really thorough job. He did a really good job in cleaning the unit and it was really dirty. They came out a couple weeks after we purchased the deal ad we ended up spending $400 in total. I thought they did a very nice job and they were very nice people. We were just surprised at the cost.

They did a very thorough air duct cleaning for my house. They were prompt and showed me what they were doing and why. My only issue was the price because I had bought a "Big Deal" which did not even cover half of the work that was done. I had more vents, more returns, etc that drove up the cost to more than double the price of the Big Deal.

Two men came out, they were on time and professional. They reviewed and quoted for the work that needed to be done, and even after finding another duct after starting work, they didn't charge me for it. Overall, the work was well done, however, we ended up getting sold on a "forever" air filter, for $80, which I wouldn't do again. We also had recently put in laminate wood floors, and the vacuum used to clean the main vent was rolled along the floor and left a couple of scratches. In hindsight, I wish I had found a rug or something for them to set the vacuum on. In any event, I would use again. Just wouldn't get sold on the extras and would ensure that my floors were protected.

There was additional cost of $40. We had them do an additional service so I think it was sanitation as well as cleaning. They certainly seem to know what they were doing. It was a two person crew, the owner and helper. They were efficient, cordial, cleaned up after themselves well and explained and showed us the debris that they kept out of the duct. The main reason I had them come is because under air conditioning we had a smell through one of the cold air return and we don't know what they did, but I guess the sanitation or the cleaning fixed it because we didn't have it afterward and I have noticed that the flow seems to be lot better now afterwards than it was before. The one thing that they just forgot to do is to put a one of the cold air return vents back on, but other than that they were good. It seems like a good deal and that is why we went with it. They were pretty quick and responsive.They actually came earlier then they had to committed to. They called us ask if you would like it done earlier and they said yes and it worked better for us. We were pleased with the service and would consider them again in the future.

They cleaned the heat ducts and cold air returns in our rented home. They system had not been cleaned for a long time, and dogs and cats had previously lived in the house. Large amounts of dirt and animal hair were removed. The workers cleaned up very well when they were finished. Two men spent nearly two hours on the project. There was an extra cold air return in the house, so there was an additional charge above the Great Deal price, but it was a fair and reasonable charge.

Cleaned all the ducts and returns in my home as well as the dryer vent. And, as a courtesy, changed the smoke alarm battery in one of the rooms! They were very personable and professional.

I purchased a big deal for this company. I worked out very well. They seemed to be very efficient and I think the way they cleaned the ducts is better than what I've had previously done. I felt that they were very thorough.

Vendor was prompt and polite, but ductwork incompatible with vendor systems.

I was very happy in the beginnng with the quote and even called the provider and told him that we had a brand new furnace system and that I didn't believe the sellers had cleaned the connecting duct work. I also shared that I didn't want a new hole to be cut in the new system for cleaning. He assured me that one would not be. When he arrived he told us that he had to cut an access hole in the plume, and it would be an upcharge that he didn't previously discuss with me. As well as I told him how many returns and vents I had and suddenly I was being charged for the additional return that he was aware of and didn't quote me over the phone before I had paid for his services. Then he tried to feed me a line that the fiter I was using was a 1/4 inch to small and attempted to up sell us on a 99$ upgraded filter. We argued that we had been using the correct size filter that was recommended by the manufacturer, he quickly switched to its efficiency. It was clear that he is a good salesman and antisipated a larger return on the sale. It was clear that he was selling his services at a lowered rate antisipating and upsale on the date of service. That is extremely frustrating as we are consumers that do our homework and do not like being upsold by anyone.

It went very well. They were very professional and answered all my questions. They also warned me of potential problems.

They were very prompt and arrived at the time they had specified. The estimate provided was clear and explained all the extra charges for items not covered by the Angie's List coupon. Work was completed swiftly and efficiently even though it was pouring outside and they had to go out repeatedly to tackle the dryer vent. Both were courteous and polite and Steve explained many details of the procedure clearly.

Arrived as scheduled and immediately went to work. Surveyed the project and advised of additonal costs due to exceeding the parametersof the Big Deal,agreed on the costs before proceeding . All efforts were professionally and efficiently done. Tips and suggestions about the equipment were offered and appreciated.

The guys arrived on time and were polite and informative. They did the work and left me with recommendations for how often this service should be done based on my location and specific situation. I will definitely use them in the future.

They were very busy as they were having a sale. But it had to be more than the sales price as they were booked for weeks in advance. When Richard showed up and did the cleaning job, I knew why so many people wanted their services. Very detail oriented. Careful in the house. Everything was very clean. Great job. Worth tipping.

I feel it went well. We had never had our ducts cleaned before, so this was a first. we called them after reading other reviews on angies list and also we had a coupon out of the clipper magazine. Steve and his worker (sorry I don't remember his name) arrived on time. Steve went through and looked at everything and got the price all squared away while his worker got right to work. overall time it took just about 2 hrs. Steve was only there about 20 mins or so, but it really is only a one person job. His did a great job, left no mess anywhere.

They came on time and worked so hard. They were mindful of pets and kids and they cleaned up everywhere they worked. They honored the Angie's list deal and did not try to up sell me. I added some things because I knew they needed to be done. My furnace is working better, the air smells fresher and has lest dust, and I have already told others about the quality service Steve and Rich provided.

Good-start-finished on time and personally.

Some of the things he did were good but he came to my house and took my furnace apart to clean it; he also sealed a cracked pipe. My furnace has never worked the same since he came back. He had to come back twice and it's still not good. I thought the work he did would be around $200 but it ended up being over $900. He was a really nice guy but he did work that I didn't ask him to do and it ended up costing me way more money.
