Milton Cleanup & More

Milton and his crew did a great job on our yard. We needed a major spring cleanup and refresh. Milton's crew were professional and friendly. We're now on his regular maintenance schedule.

Overpriced: 2 person crew for 4 hours of yard cleanup was $700...and it was sub-contracted out, which wasn't communicated ahead of time. Was supposed to include haul-away but I saw crew dump at least one barrel of debris in vacant, wooded lot next door. Even though work was done satisfactorily I will definitely not hire again.

We have called Milton for several projects and unexpected repairs. He has always been prompt with his response, willing to work with our schedule and reasonable with his quotes. His guys are great and the work always looks very professional!

I was very happy with the performance of Milton and his crew. Upon making an inquiry, Milton came by my home within 24 hours and was able to give me a estimate on the spot for the work that needed to be performed. His crew showed up promptly the day that we arranged for the work to be done and Milton came with them to get the work laid out for them and provide any last minute instructions. He came by when they were finished and we reviewed the work of his crew. There were a couple of minor items that I asked him to do that were addressed quickly. His crew was very courteous and worked hard. They left the area they worked in cleaner than it was when they arrived. Milton did what he said he would do, for the price he said he would do it for and at the scheduled time. I was happy with the whole process.

This company was recommended by my landscape designer. 350Milton and one crew member spent an entire afternoon. They paid careful attention to existing soil quality, and amended it as needed. They worked steadily and quickly but handled the new plants gently, at the same time being careful of already-established plantings. They were courteous and communication was good. I would definitely hire them again.

Milton is a nice guy and worked for us for a few months maintaining our yard. His quality of work was fine in that respect. But then he told me he could fix our sprinkler system, which I entrusted him with because he promised he could do it well. We also paid a lot for him to do it because we liked him. Unfortunately, he did a very poor job, and actually completely ruined a large section of the sprinkler system causing many of our plants and part of the grass in our front yard to die. Shortly after his "work" on the sprinklers, he suddenly stopped showing up to maintain the yard. I'm guessing he realized he had done a horrible job and didn't want to fix it! I called and left messages multiple times over the span of several weeks (he would never answer the phone when I called). He never returned my calls and he left us with a broken sprinkler system. Needless to say, we were very frustrated with and disappointed by his lack of professionalism and refusal to stand by his work.

Milton was great. He came out and gave me an estimate right away that was more than half as much as a previous estimate I got from another company. He was polite and professional. He started work before 8:00am with his crew, finished in a day, then followed up with me the next day. His work was excellent and he left the yard, driveway and sidewalk clean when he and his crew left. He went beyond my expectations.

Milton was prompt in responding to our request for an estimate. We had also received an estimate from a non Angie's List provider, whom we never heard from again. We took this as a sign that we needed to hire Milton as we were impressed with him....and we did. They were very prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and competent. They cleaned up after themselves, so that we didn't even know they had been here, except that our yard looks beautiful! The job took 2 visits and was completed in 6 days. We would definitely recommend them and hire them again.

I needed basically a complete overhaul of both my front and back yards. Milton came within a day of initial contact and we walked the yard. He gave great suggestions and asked questions on how I used my back yard, paying particular attention to the fact that I have 3 dogs and what would make the yard functional for them as well. Prior to the work starting, Milton suggested we meet at Home Depot so we could walk through alternatives for pavers, etc...He gave great ideas for patterns of laying out the walkway. I was not home when the crew of 4 showed up, but they were still there when I arrived home around 4:45 and I almost cried. The clean up work they had done had already transformed the yards. Milton was extremely communicative about what they had done and next steps. The crew was professional and they cleaned up their tools and debris daily. On the second day I arrived home and a mistake with some rock had been made. Milton immediately showed me the mistake, told me what happened, took ownership of it and said he would immediately fix it. The great thing was the "mistake" looked so good I was happy it was made. The job took about 4 days to complete but I was never inconvenienced at all. My neighbors have stopped an commented on it. I stand in my yard every night with tears in my eyes. It's usable, dog friendly, and manageable. I will be using Milton for maintenance. Money well spent.

Milton and his team were very professional and thorough. They made our yard look better than I imagined. They carefully removed all bamboo and blackberries, and made sure to dig into the ground to remove any roots. They hauled away all of the trash. They also removed some heavy concrete pads and placed them on the parking strip so I could get rid of them. Overall, it was a great experience and I would hire them again.

Crew was friendly and polite. They got all the work in record time. Impressed but it was costly for our tiny little 28 feet by 10 feet yard.

In July/August which is a busy landscaping time when I couldn't get anyone else to work on my yard until the end of August, Milton was able to do the work within a week. He sent a crew of four who went around the half acre lot quickly and thoroughly, weeding, pruning, edging, and doing a complete clean up. I heartily recommend his yard work. Sally S

They were pruning some trees and they pruned a dead tree. It doesn't make sense to me. It's difficult to get into the orchard. It's a little rough on the fence. They could be a little more careful with the fence.

Milton and his crew showed up on time, worked extremely hard, communicated through every step, and did an excellent job. The crew was very friendly and had smiles on their faces every day. I would recommend Milton and his crew and will be using them for future jobs. I'm very happy with everything they did.

They were awesome! I came home to a back yard that was cleared and ready for landscaping. Very professional, they yards, side driveway and a lot of extra touches were cleared. Milton really listened to my requests and followed through with little direction. I so appreciate that! We will most certainly have them back once we decide what we want for landscaping. Thank you!!

Milton did a great job. On time, his team was friendly and worked throughout the day, and stayed on budget. I was happy with the final product and I have him scheduled to come back and do more work. Overall: trustworthy, friendly, affordable, and quality work. What more could you ask for?

Superb. We were counting on Milton to make our yard beautiful to sell the house and he exceeded our expectations. Yard has never looked better. The turf came in better than any I've ever seen. Milton and his crew are very careful to listen and get everything the way you want it. Their prices cannot be beat. I'm just sorry we're moving away and may not be able to use Milton again.

The side yard was a muddy clay mess after all the spring rain. So, I got 3 quotes for a landscaping project to clean up the mess. Milton was not the least expensive quote but after talking with him several times he was by far the most responsive and thoughtful in his suggestions. He quote was accurate as well as the day to complete the project. Milton and his crew got to the work right on time. The project turned out great and just as we discussed (and exceeded my expectations). You would never know there was a 40' French drain (in the shape of a huge Y) put in the backyard, as well as the stone walkway, looks very professionally done. His crew did the yard and that looks great! I highly recommend Milton and his crew if you need general law work, landscaping or a stone path installed.

Our yard (full of perennials and no grass) had been neglected for almost a year. Our yard is on a steep hillside and therefore difficult to work on. Milton and two team members came at 8 am and worked very hard until 6 pm with a short break for lunch. They were punctual and extremely hard working. Milton was very good at asking what we wanted to have done and he didn't forget a single item. They removed all debris from the premises. The yard looks beautiful and the work exceeded our expectations after such neglect. We highly recommend him!

They took the hedge down quickly on a particularly nasty weather day - heavy rain. Milton took care of contacting the city to see where utility lines might be so that there would be no accidents when they were grinding down the stumps. The day after the utility lines were marked, they came and completed the work. Excellent work for a very good price.

This is the third time that Milton's company has done yard work for us. We have been very satisfied with the work they have done. They show up on time, do a great job and are very professional. We plan on continuing to use their services and would definitely recommend them.
